Like how hard is it to listen to a client who has short hair. My mom specifically said do not use the clippers to cut the back, and what does Martha Flores do? Use a clipper..... Horrible haircut, making her look so masculine!! Literally not lying when I tell you the back hairline was at ear length! It's every woman's worst nightmare when you want to look your best as she was the mother of the bride!! Martha Flores, you left her feeling so ugly and insecure about herself, we had no choice but to get a wig so she can feel a bit more positive about herself. I am so stupid for not read all the reviews before Monday!!!!! I went really sick but I have an event exactly today, I have family members that has a salón and opened my eye just now!!!! I'll tell you why so I went Monday for burgundy balayage I sent Martha a picture how I wanted but unfortunately it didn't came out the way I asked a specialist to do it. I wouldn't mind the $250 dollars but for the mess she did to my hair it's extremely overcharged. I asked her not to dry it and left to pick up my kid but the main reason was that I was exhausted how she rinse out my hair how she combed it, she said oh the color is there but you need to washed it with head & shoulder shampoo for 3 times I texted her she said oh come back for hair color removal wth, so I wouldn't recommend them oh btw it was my first time and had the worse experience. I wanted to go lighter with highlights and she explained that it's a processes unlike other places i've gone to they just want to do a full bleach n of course that would've damage my hair bad. I feel so insecure about my haircut. I wanted to cut it a bit shorter for summer with layers and I wish I never went here for a new hairstyle. my layers don't blend well at all. I feel like the hair stylist tried to leave a long layer to make my hair look longer but now it looks like I have a mullet. I can tell she was very insecure about her work and I thought I could style it different when I got home to try to fix it a bit but nothing worked. I called the salon to speak to Martha just to explain to her my situation and all I got from the receptionist is that she was busy and she will call me back. I never received that phone call. If they would have just had an honest conversation with me I wouldn't have given them this bad if a review. I went in November to get my hair dyed for the first time ever so as it already was I was super nervous! So I made an appointment with Martha Flores herself just to be sure no one would mess me up, only to figure out she would do the worst job ever! She gave me terrible highlights when I asked for a balayge!!! I then later went to another salon to get it fixed and I didn't notice this until they pointed it out to me but Martha let the bleach sit in way too long and it left me with bleach spots! After reading all the reviews I was very very skeptical and scared to even come to this salon. I'm so glad that I gave it a shot. The ladies there are nice and welcoming. My roots were taken care of and got a haircut by Luz she is great I told her the color that are combine for my roots and she assure me not to worry that she knew exactly what to do. Yes! She was right she did an great job. Will come back and look for Luz. While I was there I also saw a poster board for Brazilian Blowout and ask whose the train profesional for it. They said her name is Elizabeth so I went ahead and scheduled my appointment to get the frizz out of my hair. I did come in and had it done by Elizabeth it took about 3 hours in total from start to finish. She took her time never rushed it. I love how soft and non frizzy it looks worth every penny. They also have Keratin products, my favorite is the Brazilian Blowout. I will definitely be back for a touch up in a few months. read more

I brought my daughter just for a trim and I understand I would have to pay for a haircut but, $45 for a child under 10 years old!! That ridiculous. I walked in super nice and they didn't ask if I wanted her hair washed just told her to sit at the station they washed it trimmed it and charged me $45 dollars. I looked at the pricing it's about 17 or 19 dollars for a wash smh, they didn't ask just did it and I paid of course. But they need to communicate better and be straight forward. Has the audacity to ask what my grandma would like, but proceeds to do as she wishes. My question is why ask what the customer wants if at the end of the day she will do what she wants. She began saying that my grandmother had to many swirls in her head, like yes she does because she has naturally wavy hair then says that her hair dosent look good push back and isn't meant to be pushed back so that hair cut won't work. This used to be my favorite place to come and get my hair cut or my eyebrows done. Lately though they have been messing up really bad , I always come here to get my eyebrows waxed and the last 3 times Elizabeth has pulled skin off , each time the cut gets bigger and bigger. I went into this salon to get my hair dyed blonde with highlights. The hairstylist that dyed my hair was Angie. I showed her a picture of how exactly I wanted my hair and told her that I wanted to go blonder and if she could add on highlights as well. Low and behold she left my hair looking like a big mess! Not only did she forget to add the highlights that I specifically asked for, my hair ended up with two different colors. The worst part of it all, was the burning sensation right after she applied the toner. I could not handle the pain so I asked her if she could wash it off. The owner came up to me and told me that I could end up with blisters. I was so worried about my scalp.To top all of it off, Angie took a really long time on my hair. I am now questioning whether she did this on purpose or not because she then went off to tell me that I now had to pay $40 more because of the amount of time that she had to put on my hair. It was not my fault that she took so long so I don't know why she charged me more. I ended up paying $230 for something that I could have done a better job of doing on my own. They told me I could return in one week to apply the toner on my hair. I had to tone my hair on my own because I did not want to go back to this salon. Be careful! So I went in for a haircut, I've been growing out my hair for about a year now and trimming it myself here and there to get rid of the ends that were damaged due to dying it blonde. I come here all the time to get my lashes & haircut by Erica :) Always friendly & professional that at this point I consider her my friend :)) Martha, the owner, recently did my eye brows. She was calming & assuring throughout the whole process & couldn't be happier with the results. Yes, it hurt some but it's a tattoo on your face, lol. I went for the first time on December 17th, I was charged $15. 00 so I told the hairdresser to charge $20.00 for the tip. I inserted my card and after a min I took it out then I was told that the transaction wasn't done so I had to do it again and I did, just after this I was nitified that it will be appear charged twice but with in a few days it will be refound and that it happens often but nothing to worry about. It didn't so about two weeks later I went again but the owner wasn't there and no one was able to help me, instead they gave me her phone number and told me again this thing often happens but don't worry. I texted the owner and she told me that she didn't had $20.00 extra on that day, but I sent her a screenshot of my bank status so she can see that indeed it was charged twice. She then said that she was out of town and she needed time to verify. Well I waited for her to give me an update but nothing happened. So yesterday January 16th I texted her again but she didn't get back to me so I went again to the salon but she wasn't there, and again I was told by other hairdresser that this had happened to her clients many times. I felt robbed and it is not a nice feeling. I decided to call to my bank USAA and explain the situation and I'm very grateful with them that they took care of the situation immediately, I was refunded and filed a case of fraud against Martha Flores Salon. read more

This little salon is fantastic! The outside appearance does not speak for the services that you receive inside for sure. All of the staff is always very personable and very accommodating to what you are there for. The salon itself is always kept very clean and fortunately their music is quite fun to add to the experience. My husband, Leandro, and I both come here to get our hair done and I just recently got permanent eyeliner from the owner and I'm more than happy with it. Many thanks to the Lupita and Adrianna for doing such a great job with our hair. We will definitely be making our routine visits and I'm really looking forward to getting my eyelashes done there as well. read more

So today was the first time that I had visited this salon. I took both my daughters to get their hair trimmed. Immediately, there was an uncomfortable vibe, that one felt unwelcomed. The hair stylists were flat in their expressions and aloof in responses. My mom waited in the salon while my girls got their hair cut; as I was in the same shopping center getting my nails done. They insisted that my mom pay, even before the services were done, as if they were mistrustful that one was not going to pay. If someone had left without paying before, it is not fair that we all pay for others mistakes. I would never go back there again and would not recommend this location. Ohh..also they have a 1 dollar charge for Credit card or debit...WOW...I think they are making at least $.50 cents per transaction. I am so upset I just left this salon tell me why the so called hairstylist Maria or Martha I'm not sure what her name was but first of all my hair was dry so she decided to wash my hair when she proceeded to do that she literally put like one pump of shampoo scrubbed my head so hard and didn't even put conditioner in my hair. Then while she was combing my hair she was brushing my hair so hard I thought she was going to cut my scalp! At this point I was still not that upset I was like um ok idk why she has to be so damn rough. When asking about how much to cut I first told her an inch she showed me how much that was with her hands and I told her I wanted a little bit more than that she then literally grabbed like 5 inches of my hair and showed that to me and I was told her that is way too much she got upset cause I said that then answered me with an attitude "well that's why I told you to show me how much" I showed her how much and it was no more than 2 inches tell me why this woman cut about 4-5 inches of my hair! Oh man and she just kept chopping and chopping even after I told her that was more than I asked for. As I was leaving I told her you cut way more than I asked for. The only thing she did right was my layers in the front but you took it upon yourself to cut as much as you wanted. I know I had a lot of split ends but at the end of the day I'm paying for my haircut so I want what I asked for she literally said it herself well I cut off everything that was dead I was so mad I told her well unfortunately that's not what I asked you to do.
