I was genuinely shocked to be blocked by someone (Nikki) I've been a loyal client to for over 10 years. I used to drive two hours just to get a haircut, always paid on time, treated her with respect, and consistently supported her business. Being cut off without any explanation or conversation feels unprofessional and deeply disappointing. If there was a concern, I believe I deserved at least a direct discussion. It's especially disheartening to know that my long, thick hair may have played a role in this decision after so many years. Jenny from the block!! I see her once a month and she always takes care of me. If you go early it's not as loud in the salon but overall the vibe is good. Jenny's chair faces the whole salon so you don't have to worry about all the hustle and bustle around you. I usually get a pedicure and Jenny goes above and beyond with scrubs, lotions, hot rocks, and wax. If you're lucky she'll offer you a coffee. Do NOT book with NIKKI VU for a Brazilian blowout. I have gotten this many times at other salons and her service was an absolute NIGHTMARE !! What should have been a 3 hr appointment turned into almost 7 hrs and the process was NOT complete since she does it differently. Her process is to wash your hair, add Brazilian blowout product, let it process for an hour, blow dry it and straighten it (took almost 7 hrs!!!) then RETURN next day since she recommends leaving the product overnight and come back to the salon for additional 2 hours to straighten again, wash off the Brazilian blowout product, and blow dry. How does a 3 hour service take TWO appointments for a total time of almost 9 hours?! She also did not inform me of this process prior to booking with her. I went in on July 3rd at 1pm and left at 6:44pm and was expected to come back on 4th of July??? I had to schedule for July 5th at 2pm since again I was not informed it required a second appointment. Because I had to leave the Brazilian blowout product overnight, it caused me to have a headache, causing random eye burning sensations and to make it worse my scalp hurt so much from her tugging on my hair from straightening it since she uses two straighteners and straightens a little bit of hair at a time! I called her the morning of 4th of July and she did not answer. I couldn't wait until my next appointment for my hair to be washed (Saturday, July 5th at 2pm) so I had no choice but wash it off at home with a sulfate free shampoo, blow dry my hair and then straighten it. I also informed her of this via text. Basically I had to finish the process at home due to the effects the Brazilian blowout product was causing from leaving it overnight. Due to me paying FULL price for a service that was not complete, I called Nikki expressing my concerns and was only requesting HALF a refund which she completely REFUSED because her work was complete??? How is my hair "complete" when I had to return for another 2 HOUR appointment. She then cut me off in the phone call and hung up. I went to the salon in the afternoon on 4th of July so I can talk to Nikki in person and they were still open. She again REFUSED to give me a half refund and was defensive about it because her work was "complete". She then at least offered to wash my hair and since my scalp was still sensitive and hurting I decided to trust her and go forward with it but when she was preparing for my hair wash I thought it was weird she didn't allow my boyfriend to come with me to the back of the salon. Please keep in mind the salon was basically empty. Jenny ,the nail tech, was there with a client and someone else was there in the back for brow waxing. As I was in the back sitting waiting for my hair wash, Jenny who had a client was checking my scalp with Nikki and I caught Jenny taking photos of my scalp behind my back. WHY IS A NAIL TECH TAKING PHOTOS OF MY SCALP WHEN SHE WAS DOING A PEDICURE ON A CLIENT? This suspicious behavior caused me to immediately refuse service since I no longer felt comfortable and did not trust Nikki or the nail tech! This is NOT how you handle client needs or treat them!!! I didn't get my half refund back either! I will NEVER return here! If I could leave ZERO stars I would! read more

This salon has been at this location for a long time. Well my lady (Phoung) who does my eyebrows and facials just moved into this establishment recently. She works in the back corner located inside. Today i was able to get a facial for the first time. She really took her time, and explained to me what she is going to do. The area was clean and she has all these high tech tools she uses. Also, while i had my hydro gel mask, she gave me a neck and shoulder massage. I may have fell asleep at some point. But the facial was great. My face is feeling clean and spotless. I had a lot of oil around my nose and a few little pimple around. She extracted everything and now I'm feeling great. I wanted to give her a special shoutout.
