OMG... TERRIBLE!!!! Could not get a waiter; when our waiter came did not or could not fully explain menu! Our friend ordered tomato/avocado salad with dressing on the side, the salad came with all the dressing POURED onto the side of salad!!!! Main courses were swimming upstream in garlic oil.. almost inedible. However , the one saving grace was dessert! Flan was fabulous, and so was crepe! Then it took three different people to get our checks and check us out. Never again.. they need good management skills and cooking lessons! My overall excellent rating was tempered by the skirt steak portion size (too small for my preference-see the pic) and the price for that tasty morsel. I ordered a traditional burger and it was not good. The meat smelled bad, not fresh. I wanted medium rare, and it came out medium or burnt, they burned it to kill all the enzymes. This was my first time here, and I must say it was AMAZING. To start off, the sangria was great. My waiter, Vixana, made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us every possible chance she had. When you come, ask for her because she really knows how to provide customer service. First time trying this place. Came here because it We came with some friends. Had a chicken empanada for appetizer and it was very very sour, didn't like it at all. For food I had the meat lovers parillada which I shared with my friend and it was pretty good, except the chicken was actually kind of dry. However, I did expect a lot more meat, (I've had many other parrilladas for the same or less price with a lot more meat) My wife had a filet mignon and it was pretty good. My other friend had the "churrasco" and it was a bit tough to chew on, however, flavor was pretty good. Overall the food was pretty good, so I'll give it the 4 stars, service could of improved a bit, they were slow to taking our order and didn't really give us much attention after they took our order. read more

We had the pleasure of joining our friends who live in southwest Florida here last night for dinner. I am picky Polly and am not good at trying new or different foods. Glad that I was being a good sport last night because this was totally delicious and enjoyable. We ordered appetizers,ceviche and empanadas. I was proud of myself for trying the ceviche (not my thing by the others raved about it) the empanadas (I had beef) were amazing! Highly recommend. For dinner we shared the hanging gauchos. Meet was perfect and flavorful and the fries were delish. Our server was delightful as was the cook. We all decided that this will be a return spot. Uruguayan lamb is the best in the world and so hard to get in the US. Grilled on a traditional parrilla (wood fired grill) like they do at Martin Fierro is the most flavorful way to prepare it. If you like red wine and have never tried a Tannat, be sure to try this traditional wine. The owners are so friendly and delightful. read more

1st time here while visiting Naples. I was not sure what to expect and being that I have Argentinian family who has spoiled me with authentic empanadas, I was not expecting to be wow'd. WOW! I tried 1 chicken & 1 beef... both were excellent, but the chicken was my favorite. They come with a green sauce on the side that has the taste of chimi churri. We also had "the hanging guacho" that was 4 different kabob like things hanging with grilled veggies (between the meat chunks), underneath was a pile of freshly made fries that had all the juices sort of dripping on top. This was delicious! Overall, a fantastic experience and the icing on the cake... the piece that completed the experience was the wonderful server we had. Anthony was attentive, helpful and very kind. If you decide to try this place out, I would ask for Anthony for excellent service with a smile. Thank you Anthony! Was miserable there were other tables available They didn't care. They should either blackout front door or remove table one. Food ok atmosphere terrible. WOW. This place blew us away with the quality and quantity of food. It's a small place that doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's so worth trying out. We got the Arepitas appetizer which was so delicious. The sauce on the Rainbow trout was some of the best I've ever had, along with the mixed vegetables. We love Martin Fierro - we have been there many times and have never been disappointed. Located in a strip mall setting, it doesn't immediately impress you from the outside. I would say that is part of Martin Fierro's charm though - because what it may lack in perceived exterior flair, it makes up for (and then some) in food quality and service. So our favorite things to order.....Argentine Provoleta (appy) $14- Meat lovers for 2 $45, Hanging Gauchos $40 (my kids love these). For sides we love their French fries (portion is generous and omg, so good) and plantains (yum). Beef, chicken, pork and chorizo are almost always cooked perfectly---I think in the many many times we have ordered this, there hasn't ever been a time when it was overcooked or dry. It is a bit pricey to eat here, but you do get 2 sides with the entrees I have listed above and it is really really good. Some other random adds have been the blood sausage $5 (so good, but so rich, you really can't eat much of it). I also love having this meal with sangria and highly recommend. Some of my suggestions....ask for extra chimichurri sauce. They bring it out with the bread they give you when you arrive and it is worth suffering the garlic breath for days after to eat it with your entrees. Heck, you could probably put chimichurri on a leather shoe and I'd consider eating it, lol. Service has always been friendly and attentive--not high end service, but responsive enough so you never feel abandoned. Oftentimes they have live music (my fave is the accordion player) which adds to the warmth and the cozy vibe of this place. It isn't a fancy place, it isn't on par with the chicness and elegance of downtown Naples, but I would go here any day over most places on 5th and 3rd! read more

Cookie cutter fast paced dining at a chain restaurant is not to be expected and the explanations and patience is the "normal" atmosphere for this place. Renzo was our waiter and is the best. My wife son and I enjoyed the time that we could be together and share new stuff around a table. Table turnover and time management never entered my mind. It was 5 stars before they renovated and tried to modernize what was a charming, rustic environment. Prices have gone up I assume to pay for the updates.
