Martini's hosted our wedding reception this summer, on a Saturday afternoon, and it worked out just perfectly! The staff, especially Daniel, their event coordinator, were delightful and so easy to work with (especially important as I was planning this from New York). We had about 50 people and unfortunately didn't get to enjoy their beautiful patio much due to the heat that day, but the dining room right off of it, the bar area and the entry room was reserved for us. We had plenty of space. The reception started with cocktails (everyone loved the diversity of their drink menu) and hors' doeuvres pass around by the wait staff. Then we had a buffet with a special menu worked out by the chef for us (which unfortunately as the bride, I barely tasted, but was told by others it was very good!). Daniel coordinated directly with my florist and baker for deliveries so all was ready when we arrived. I would highly recommend hosting an event there, and next time we're in the area, I hope to return there for dinner. read more

Can I just say WOW! I'm from the East Coast and was delighted to find big New York flavor in the small town of Longmont. Every bite left my partner and I drooling with pleasure. The atmosphere, outdoor seating, French doors, and Victorian home with private rooms for dining make this the ultimate date location. Gentleman, if you want to impress a lady this is where you should bring her! Martini's lives up to its name because the drinks were equally notable and served in a shaker that seemed to fill itself up. I was able to fill my glass three times! My wife and I have been here before and liked it a lot. Maybe it during the time of previous owner (I do not remember). But this time My wife & I took her mother and two visiting relatives on May 14 for my mother-in law's birthday. We will be hard pressed to return. Even though we were asked if everything was ok with our meals, we later admitted to each other that all five meals were luke warm at best (pasta, crab cakes, etc). My wife had the steak. She later admitted to me that a small beetle crawled out from under the steak, which in turn ruined her meal. If we had all been honest at the time, I would have sent all 5 meals back and forced a new dinner for my wife. There is no excuse for such meals in any restaurants. read more

Martini Bistro is one of the only restaurants in Longmont which is classy, warm and quiet, whether, you are going in there for just a relaxing drink or a full dinner. The ambiance is perfect! We have done both recently and have never been disappointed! The staff is impeccable and the drinks cannot be surpassed. The only down side is the prices for dinner have risen quite a bit and the menu has changed, removing the beloved favorites to more upscale offerings. But if you are looking for that special place to celebrate or just to have a great dinner, this is your place!!! read more

Martini's is a great place to meet with friends. The past 3 times we were there it was in a larger party (between 15 to 25). The owners Frank & Christopher are charming, and I have not had ánything on the menu that I would not order again. If you're going the first time they offer a free appetizer if you text them, which they gave us with no problems. The Martini 's are good, a great assortment to try, but if your a lightweight drinker beware- they pack a kick! All in all I would recommend this as a great place to eat, drink and be merry. read more

Fourteeen family members went to Mother's Day brunch on Sunday, our ages ranged from 22 - 87 ... with a lot of 50-plusers in the group. We had a great time! The service was excellent, prime rib was amazing, and the cheese blintzes divine. Buffets are always a bit tough, but the cast and crew at Martini's Bistro did a great job. I only gave 4 stars because some of the dishes could have been hotter; as for flavor, freshness, service, and selection they are a 5 in my book. We will be back. read more

We held our rehearsal dinner at Martini's and have nothing but good things to say about our experience. Daniel helped us book the date, set up the menu, and made sure that everything was set up just as we wanted on the big day. He accommodated all our requests in terms of foods we did or did not want on the menu, and we were always able to get ahold of him when we needed to confirm little details. Our guests raved about both the incredible food and the beautiful setting, and many even took some leftovers home at the end of the night. There were 12 of us on the awesome patio for tapas. Our food and service was expertly delivered and prepared. A special shout out to David, Jessie, and Matt for creating a delightful evening. David mixed a just right cocktail --not too sweet, or tart. It went down easy. Matt prepared Date with a Pig to perfection. The bacon was just the right amount of crunch which provided a lovely contrast to the slightly sweet date. Nice contrast between the crunch and the puffy date. The Truffle fries were cooked to perfection and accompanied with a tangy aioli sauce. No other condiments required. Jessie always brings a quick smile and laugh to complete the dining experience. She even accommodated a couple of late arrivals, making sure our food was delivered in a timely manner, checking in to make sure everything was as we would have it. I have special dietary needs and often order salmon without sweetened sauces. My salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with Brussels sprouts sautéed with bacon. It was very tasty and the best I've had in a while. When there was a small glitch with my order our waiter personally sponsored an iced tea for me, and the manager, Sarah, was very solicitous in ensuring all other aspects of our meal were highly satisfying. The outdoor seating and atmosphere were comfortable and quiet, which made for great conversation. We'll definitely dine here again! read more

Very disappointed in the Easter Sunday brunch. This used to be our favorite place for holiday brunch. The food this time had little to no flavor and was of poor quality. Even the dessert table was lacking in variety and flavor. My seven year old didn't even want dessert because it was not kid friendly. We were a party of three and were scrunched into a two person table less than a foot away from another table. My husband was unable to sit comfortably as he was practically sitting on someone else the entire time. We will not be returning. read more

We have been going to Martini Bistro for years and always had good time, even chatted with the owner(s). Last few time the food had been hit or miss and the new person at the door, some old lady, the last two time she was totally rude. Thought it was just a case the first time. Last visit was my mothers 90th Birthday. You would had thought we had asked for a free dinner, not was the food bad we were told we don't sing happy Birthday here to anyone, I said not even at 90 years . Anniversary Dinner Fiasco. Very simply let me explain the one star rating. It is our anniversary dinner.We have lots of options between Longmont and Boulder, but we choose the Bistro because they have the patio and we like their Martinis. We have been there a million times with friends. However, this time it is different. I make a reservation for 6:45 PM. I clearly specify it is our anniversary and ask for outdoor table. We get there a little late and as we walk in the owner looks at us and asks for our names with a guilty look on his face....yes....he gave our table away!!!! There is no other outdoor table "of course" and he offers an indoor table that is in a small secluded room that is the opposite of what we asked for. No apology offered! Then he says we are fifteen minutes late and that there is nothing he can do as that is standard procedure. We leave...and as I look at my watch on the way out I see it is 6:56PM. Yes, he ruined our anniversary dinner because he could not wait !!! His attitude defensive, his explanation wrong and our dinner ruined. The table was gone and there was nothing we could do so we left. Luckily Tortugas down the road was able to accommodate us and saved our evening with their outdoor sitting! Shame on the owner!!! Will we be back ? Possibly if friends insist! But as far as we are concerned this owner deserves a one star rating for this one. Hopefully this will help him set his clock right. read more

We live in Longmont and moved here years ago from the Bay Area (plethora of food options). Martinis is one of our go to restaurants in Longmont. Very good comfort food that is creative, good cocktails, and a friendly fun staff. It is cozy in the winter and has a wonderful patio dining experience in the summer. They have a crusted mahi mahi fish that is wonderful and also some great salads. The specials are delicious too. We have taken out of town guests there and they all commented on how enjoyable it was. I went to Martinis on a first date. Someone had told me it was the best game in town, and it seemed like a swanky and romantic enough place so I made reservations. I wanted to get onto the legendary, gorgeous outdoor patio. The entire experience, start to finish, was exquisite. At every point in the evening, beautiful, smiling faces greeted us and made sure our dining experience was amazing. The owners themselves came around to greet us. The host - adorable as he was - stopped by our table a couple of times to ensure everything was satisfactory. Cheryl, our server, was engaging, sweet, funny, and attentive. And the food was divine. Everything was beautifully cooked, perfectly seasoned, and inventive. The presentation was gorgeous on a bevy of different colored plates and cups and bowls. The patio was so beautiful with an incredible level of lighting and a huge, ancient tree granting it's natural beauty as a backdrop. The whole restaurant follows a sort of high camp theme, and it is beautifully executed. The experience is fun, and worth every penny. From the fun names for the food and appetizers, to the hilarious and campy names for the (incredible... and lethal) martinis, to the words printed on the bathroom doors, everything plays off as a sort of metrosexual dream restaurant. There is subtle humor everywhere you turn, and it is evident throughout the staff and the decor. This is the diamond of Longmont. I am so glad I live mere blocks from this place - I plan to be back as often as I can afford! This restaurant is beautiful. Located in an old Victorian House, maybe the nicest restaurant space in Longmont. However, the food and service were a bit suspect. The menu's were straight out of the 80's. My pasta was over cooked and starchy and my girlfriend's scallops tasted like chemicals. I think maybe a bit too old. For a place called Martini's the drink menu could use a facelift as well. The names for all the dishes seemed pretty cheesy and more fitting for a retirement home. This restaurant has a lot of potential and we will maybe try it again another time. Maybe just an off night. read more

I have been going to Martini's for many years and have always enjoyed the drinks and menu items. What I have not been impressed with the last 2 times I have been there is the owner and his manager. I went there for dinner with my husband and another couple. The evening started with a very loud party situated next to us which was celebrating a momentous birthday. It is not a pretty sight to see a 60 year old woman so drunk she falls off of her chair - I guess I can't blame the restaurant for that (or can I??). After ordering and waiting for 40 min for our food we were told they had given us the wrong "specials menu" and we had to reorder. Funny we were able to get the appetizers off of that menu with no problem...hmm. Our food came out in another 20 minutes (no rush there). I spoke with the waiter and said could something be done for our inconvenience - he offered to take a round of drinks off of our tab. Suddenly the manager is at our table wanting to know what the problem was - we explained the issue - he immediately throws the waiter under the bus and blames him for giving us the wrong menu and what did I want done?? I said a round of drinks taken off of our bill would be great. He comes back to our table with a round of drinks which I responded we don't need another round but rather take it off of our tab. He acted very disgusted and walked off. My husband who is not confrontational, hence why I did all the talking, walked over to the owner and quietly spoke to him in the bar area. He said we come here often but felt that as managers/owners they should stand behind their waiters and not blame them. Service is making the experience right for the patron and not excuses and rudeness. Our checks were brought to our table along with the 2 bouncers who stood behind our chairs as we paid our bills. As we walked out the owner came up to my husband, raised his voice, and stated "don' t you ever speak to me again like that in front of my employees". My husband replied "take ownership this is your restaurant". The owner then said "you can never come in here again". I had a family reunion of sorts tonight at Martini's Bistro. I haven't seen my aunt in over 10 years and this was the first time she met my children. I was nervous. I shouldn't have been. The staff at Martini's was so welcoming and accommodating. Christina, our server was wonderful. But what really made the impression was the FOOD! We were surprised and thrilled to learn that Martini's is taking more steps to accommodate those of us with food sensitivities (gluten for us) and my dad was over the moon that he was able to order his favorite dish of all time The Sea Of Hearts. We've been frequenting this Longmont establishment since the 90's and couldn't be happier with the recent changes. Awesome food, awesome service, and always amazing ambience. I just went there today, with my mom for lunch, and I will admit I was a bit tentative after reading so many bad reviews. But we gave it a shot and I am so glad! We were the first customers, there right as they opened for lunch at 11:30. Our waiter couldn't have been friendlier, and we were seated on the gorgeous patio. they touted the martini's, but we made do with ice tea - which was refilled for free - and started with the bacon-wrapped scallops. They were amazing! We had salads, and my mom's tilapia was perfectly cooked. I will admit that I would have like more crab and less patty in my crab patty, but the salad that accompanied it was great. The place really filled up, but our waiter never forgot about us, and we splurged on the Oh Joy!, and almond-coconut-chocolate slice of heaven. We were there for the entire lunch service, and left around 2 - we never felt rushed. I will definitely be back! read more

five people arrived at the martini bistro in the snow with an amputee who could not maneuver the front steps of the restaurant. i went ahead and asked for the handicapped entrance. my instructions were to walk around the back which was filled with cars and then maneuver our party with an amputee with a walker through the kitchen of the restaurant. don't you have handicapped access in the state of colorado like we do where i live in california? this was totally unacceptable and the staff was rude besides. i would not go back there for any reason. read more

Everything here points to a great experience, but every time we have been something has been a bit 'off.' Strange service, errors with the order, less than hot food, etc. Nothing terrible and no bad experiences, but just always seems to leave you wishing it was just a bit better.
