I can't really express how impressed I am with Bob and his team. I have been using them for the last two years and take advantage of their pick up/drop off service. They are always prompt, do great work and most importantly, are always sooooo flexible when I need something extra done. I have been using Martinizing Dry Cleaners in Danville for several years for pick up and delivery from my home. I work long hours and dropping off dry cleaning is not at the top of my list. i went to them because of their reviews. all their positive reviews are all absolutely true! excellent customer service and my couple of items came back dry-cleaned in excellent condition. now that my 2 kids Burberry wool coats came back excellently, i have a bag full of blazers, mostly from Saks or Neimans that i'll be taking in soon. i can trust them to all those nice blazers now based on my own personal experience with the 2 coats. read more

I had the most amazing experience with one of the Martinizing people today and I had to share! I called to see if they could pick up an order today and they were so polite and remembered me by name. Not only is my legal name unusual, but I was calling from a different phone, so they couldn't have known from the caller id who I was. It was an easy peasy conversation, I didn't need to provide my address or any additional info because they pulled me up and took care of everything. I took my wedding dress here to get it dry cleaned and preserved. My dress had red wine stain and mud for the night before. The staff here are professional and kind. They have free delivery of your garments to your home. Highly recommend, I will definitely be going back in the future. read more

By far one of the worst dry cleaning places we have had to deal with. The management and employees have no attention to detail, and as a result, we had to make multiple trips to correct the various issues. We originally brought in our bed comforter to have repairs made and dry cleaned; as well as some dresses. When we picked it up the bedding the following week, the repairs were made, but it was never dry-cleaned. Dresses were dry-cleaned; however, they were still dirty with stains. Employees never checked or verified their work, but charged us for the services provided. We did not notice this until we got home, so we had to make another trip into town. Employees offered to re-clean and hand wash the dresses to remove the stains, which should have been done in the first place. They made it seem like they were going out of their way to do it, for something that was already paid for. The bed comforter was cleaned and picked up the following week. Upon returning home, we inspected the bedding and noticed additional damages as a result of their cleaning practices. There were 2 repairs made originally, and after leaving it with Martinizing, it was returned with multiple tears/rips and snags (over 10 in total). This comforter was well over $500 dollars and due to the negligence of Martinizing dry cleaning, the comforter is ruined. Confronting Martinizing, they would not honor there services/repairs or acknowledge the additional damage that they cause. We called multiple times and followed up with e-mails and received no response from the manager. By far one of the worst dry cleaning services in the Central Valley. read more

This is an update for my review of 9/15/16. Yes, mistakes were made, but nobody's perfect. What really counts is this: What is done to rectify mistakes when they are brought to the attention of management, how seriously are they taken, how quickly are they corrected, and what is the attitude of management during the process? In this case, the response was definitely worthy of 5 stars in each of the above categories. Bob, the owner/manager, personally drove to Lafayette and picked up my daughter's wedding gown. He oversaw the repairs, made sure everything was perfect, and then promptly and personally delivered the gown to my doorstep. Through the entire process he was nothing but genuinely thoughtful, apologetic, and professional. He never once tried to diminish my concerns or make even the slightest excuse. I felt respected and completely taken care of. He even offered to refund every cent of my money after making the gown perfect. I refused, as he certainly had earned it, and then some, at the end of the day. read more

Wow- the customer service is amazing. They have always done a fantastic job with our clothes, but the service is over the top. They are timely and whenever I have missed a pickup and called to see if I could drop off they send someone out to pick it up no questions asked. In fact yesterday I thought I missed the pickup and as I was driving to drop off I crossed paths with the driver for pickup at the end of our street. I had not yet filled out the info but he patiently helped me fix my bag right in the middle of the street while . I needed a pair of pants the next day. He said "no problem we will have them for you," but the best part was they brought all my clothes even the laundered shirts next day even though It's not a regular day for pick up and drop off. horrible service do not go here i would give 0 stars if possible they dont know what theyre doing. my first time using this service i brought multiple designer items and the manager/owner gave me a big shpeal how they have some special cleaning procedures to nake sure your clothes will be kept in perfect condition. it took over 2 weeks to get my items back but it was missing 2 jackets, they lied to me and told me they took even longer to clean. They wouldnt contact me and let me know whats up i had to constantly call then they informed me they ruined my burberry and louis vuitton jackets. they said they would replace them. it took 4 or 5 months to get one jacket. they wouldn't contact me i had to constantly call and show up. they replaced one jacket and wont replace the other one they ruined. i have been trying to contact them but they will not get back to me. the owner/manager has lied to me many times saying he would get back to me but never does. dont trust this place they are shady and ruin expensive items. save yourself time money and hassle , i would recommend special cleaners in livermore they are great read more

This rating and review is for my first experience dropping off clothes at the Martinizing Dry Cleaners location in downtown Danville. I've been using a different dry cleaner in Danville for the last few years and hit a "final straw" moment that motivated me to consult Yelp for an alternative. The first thing that impressed me about this business was that the gentleman who greeted me was having a friendly conversation with an obviously satisfied customer when I walked in. This gave me the impression that this was a small, local business that cared about and wanted to develop a professional relationship with each individual customer. Yes! The second thing that impressed me was that when it was my turn, the gentleman listened very carefully to the concerns I had about the service I received from my previous dry cleaners, and indicated that he understood and would provide me with the best service possible. This was music to my ears. The third thing that impressed me was the offer to deliver my dry cleaned items to me, saving me the trip to pick them up. Wow! If this were possible from a logistics standpoint, I would totally take them up on the offer. read more
