Good food and friendly service here. Tons of by the slice options, don't judge me for the pineapple on pizza!

Honestly the best pizza I have ever had. The service was amazing, not too busy. And they had gluten free pizza slices as well! Did not take long to get the food, and the garlic knots are worth a try. The place is not huge, but it has good vibes. The pizza is very greasy though. The slices are very big though, so come here when you are hungry. 10/10 Fire pizza.

My three positives and a negative because the world needs more positivity: + plenty of choices for pizza by the slice (it was a Wednesday though the week of the Sisters outdoor quilt show) + the cheese is a solid New York style thin crust + the recommendation to add Mike's hot honey was solid - $1 for the honey seemed a bit deer

The sweet marinara sauce is the perfect complement to the top notch meats! The customer service is amazing too.

Good pizza but pretty spendy for what you get. I ordered a small white veggie and it was $12 for 4 slices. But overall it tasted great.

Great slices and salads. Great for a quick post mountain bike ride lunch. Offers GF personal pizzas as well.

The best pie I've had since moving back west from NY! Thin, crispy crust. Sold by the slice...makes everyone happy.

The combination of the white sauce, mushrooms, herbs, and lemon was perfection. I would gladly eat it again but I'd also want to try out some of their other flavor combinations! The pizzas here are a little pricier at around $20 per pizza (individual 10 inch size) but honestly, based on what I tasted, they are worth it. Just don't come here looking to feed your family for cheap. But if you're just looking for amazing pizza, this is the place to go!

Yet another review where I wish I could give half stars and would give this place a 4.5. The guy…read moreworking the truck was great, answering all our questions and letting us heavily customize a pizza. The pizza came out pretty quickly, piping hot. The perimeter crust was cooked perfectly (as you can see in most of the pics) and the toppings were plentiful. As my wife and I bit into our first slice, we both agreed it was really good. My half was basically the sausage and pepper pizza with Calabrian chiles added. I also opted for sausage only. The flavors went so well together and the icing on top was the fresh oregano! I also really enjoyed the texture of the sausage. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars (but wish I could give it 4.5 stars) was that the majority of the bottom of the crust was coated in oil. I don't mind the flavor of the oil, it just made the pizza floppy, challenging to eat the 1st half of each slice, and a mess. I'm hoping a subsequent visit will yield different results. That being said, I'm looking forward to returning. We're kind of a one-trick pony when it comes to dining in Sisters, but this place is going in the mix!

Update review. We keep getting a male server who is stressed out and impatient. Makes us feel…read morerushed. Acts like he's a great waiter and like we're unworthy customers. He sweats and pushes us to order and eat fast, doing that waiter thing when they pretend they are not rushing you. "Just checking if you need that plate taken away." Not fooling anyone. Brusque to my brother who is into fine wines and requested tastes of some by-the-glass wines before committing to a glass or a bottle. My wife stated she is uncomfortable around the server. We don't go to the Open Door much now. Old review. A real romantic spot. Great drinks. My wife loves it. Sitting outside is best but the bar is good too. Some nights they put tables in the art gallery out front and you sit around the paintings and jewelry, kind of fun. There used to be a waitress named Kristen or Kirsten, a lady with long hair and clogs, the best server I've ever had and I don't just mean in Central Oregon. The Open Door is the probably the best dining experience in Sisters. Living in Tumalo and working throughout Oregon, I go to Sisters often. Unfortunately Sisters isn't a great town for food. The Open Door has some very-good food, and some pretty-good food. You never know which it's going to be. The halibut, meatballs, and lasagnas are solid. Berries and cream dessert is great. The menu doesn't change much over the years. If my wife didn't love it I wouldn't go back so often. Get bored eating the same dishes over and over. When my brother and his grown kids visit they like the atmosphere, especially those small houses outside with the plants. However they have trouble finding a selection that works for their way of eating, allergies, one is vegan and one is lactose intolerant.

The vibe was peaceful and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Service was attentive, though a bit on the slower side, we waited almost an hour for the main course. They do have a kitchen break between 3:30-4:30 PM, and I'd recommend making a reservation if you're planning to visit during peak hours. The food was fresh, flavorful, and creatively presented--it's clear the chef enjoys experimenting with unique flavor combinations. My husband tried the seafood lasagna, which was a tasty and satisfying treat. The scallops dish was also delicious, though slightly too salty for my taste and quite light--it came with a small amount of polenta and a vegetable purée, so I found myself a bit hungry afterward. Many people around us were ordering pasta, and it looked fantastic--definitely something I'd love to try next time. Overall, a beautiful place with great food and a memorable atmosphere. Highly recommend!
