My new favorite coffee spot! We were already great fan's of the OG Marty B's but this is THE SPOT for coffee and snacks. It feels great to support a local company. All 3 time's I have been in the drive thru line, Marty himself comes out to greet customers and even give some sample treats (that's the reason the seasoned crackers are now my new fave). I've visited Marty B's Coffee about 8 times since they opened and I have mixed reviews. Overall - I like the concept. Is it AMAZING? The biscuit is AMAZING. Other things... they need more time to work out issues. General feedback - I don't like that they sell things in the drive thru that aren't easy to eat while driving. I ordered the chicken salad which was fantastic, but it didn't come with crackers and I had a long drive ahead of me. Thought it was strange that they would serve it as plain chicken salad with a fork in a drive thru. In fairness, I ordered this during the first week so maybe they didn't have the little pack that also included crackers at that time. The drive-thru always seems a little disorganized. I went twice last week and both times they lost my order by the time I pulled up to the window. Tonight I ordered a toffee cookie and the girl asked if I wanted a toffee cookie or a toffee bar. I told her I wanted whatever was easiest to eat in the car so we landed on the cookie, but then I received a bar instead. The toffee bar was 2 stars. I found it to be overly sweet. Definitely not what I wanted. Agree with another reviewer that the forced small talk is incredibly awkward. The young girl at the window asked me what toffee tasted like and I'm sitting there wondering why I have to explain this to a girl who is responsible for selling toffee bars and toffee drinks. The biscuits are very good. Nashville chicken biscuit is fantastic. The Nashville chicken biscuit is priced very well and maybe even a little cheap. I also tried the honey biscuit and bacon biscuit - both good, but Nashville is the best. As other reviewers have stated, the price vs. quality isn't there for me on some of the other products. I have a hard time paying $7 for a latte when I can get the same thing or better down the road for $5. The freeze drink wasn't blended enough, but the other drinks have all been pretty good. The bacon taco was decent, but not as good as Fuzzy's or Torchy's. Tacos are a little small for the price. The vanilla scone was blah. The egg bites will disappoint if you are used to ordering them from Starbucks. Cinnamon roll is pretty good. Choc chip cookie is good. Lavender white mocha is awesome. Wouldn't order the vanilla cold brew again. Look forward to trying other things, but wish they would lower the drink prices. read more

Every time I went there I bought a coffee and sat down to work on some things. Several times the only seat available was the 4 topper, so I sat down. After sitting there for about 30 mins with many other 4 tops available, was asked to move to a "single seat". Another time I walked into the room up front to receive a quiet phone call. I was told it was a fee to be in there... I left both times and haven't been back. This place is like the "cool kids" table back in high school serving really mediocre expensive coffee. There really aren't many coffee places around that you can go and sit etc, and if a black rifle coffee company moves close to here, this place will dwindle to nothing!! read more

Stopped by yesterday for coffee and got an iced caramel macchiato and a cold brew. Both were delicious, by far the best coffee I've had! After taking a peek at the lunch menu we had to come back the next day for lunch! We tried the spicy ranch chicken salad snack box (excellent - more than enough food for a filling lunch!) and a Pink Lotus energy drink with peach, pineapple and strawberry. From what I understand, the lotus drinks use a natural energy supplement and you can mix it with whatever flavored syrups you'd like! Delicious food, great coffee. First to review! Marty B does it again - this time with awesome TX style ca. This is the first week of opening. It's drive through only for now until as Marty says, "everything is perfect." I tried the bbq kolache and Nashville Chicken Sandwich. Both were amazing. Next time i'm trying the breakfast tacos. Also tried an iced hazelnut latte, and it was slightly better than local competition at the same price point. It's clear that Marty's genius is building a high quality restaurant empire, and we're lucky to enjoy it. Went back for tacos. Brisket and bacon. Both fantastic. High quality fresh ingredients. Also tried the biscuits and gravy - yummy. The portions are good for the price; especially the real TX BBQ. (Y'all aint gettin that at no other seattle based place). Today, they managed two lines, so the wait was even less - but efficient either way. Glad to see Marty's crowded. We appreciate his efforts to make the best restaurants in town. read more

In a word...HEAVEN . Marty's magic strikes again. This place is amazing! FOOD: EXCELLENT; we've been three times now and everything we tried is awesome. Brisket is fantastic inside the Kolache and taco. I love the taste of the breading of the Kolache, tastes like a homemade Parker house roll!!!! Biscuits are delicious! The Nashville hot chicken with the pickle makes the biscuit that much better. The chicken salad is so good! Perfect amount of celery, onion and grapes! I wanted to have a productive day and finish up some school work at a table that was against a wall, because I didn't want to be sitting in the middle of everything like most of the 1 tops. I was interrupted by a worker asking me if I'm meeting anyone, I said no and she rudely told me to move to a one top. And had the audacity to say "thanks girl". I walked out and unfortunately will not be coming back inside to sit, since it is such a big deal that 1 person wants to sit where they would like. My 1st time drive to here excited of the looks . Drive thru isnt good idea for 1st time been there if u havnt seen menu. The staff rush me and i don't even know what they sell. She says the a car behind me when i drive it to the menu not even 5sec. I feel uncomfortable and very stressful.My coffee late is not good no coffee taste breakfast burritos greasy must ask for napkins or they wont give it and bring your own hand sanitizer to wash off. It's been my second time there today. It's pretty good, it's like an upscale version of Starbucks with an amazing interior. The Nashville biscuit was really good, the brown rice, turkey and egg scramble bowl was yummy and a good size, the brisket taco wasn't that impressive and pretty small though. I only had the matcha latte, which tasted like it's supposed to taste, so I can't really comment on their coffee menu. My only complaint is the single use plastic for dining in. I get it for outside seating or for to go orders but getting everything served in plastic and wrapped in aluminum foil for dining in is just absolutely irresponsible towards our planet. It really hurt me to see all the trash that was only from our order. I cannot even imagine all the waste of plastic that is being created on a daily basis. It would be great if they could use trays for biscuits, etc. like at Marty B's and plates or bowls for the rice bowls and real cutlery and not plastic forks and knives wrapped in - plastic! read more

I was this close to giving up coffee cause of my ex but this place saved me because it's amazing. I mean I almost thought about switching to hot tea and I didn't want to do it cause I'm an American and not British. A wonderful experience. Just beautiful space, makes you feel like you have stepped out of life and into a high-end social space. The staff goes above and beyond- example, the manager saw me looking through the front door before they opened the inside. (The drive-thru running a little before inside opened.) Cutest coffee shop in the DFW. The outdoor area is such a nice place to spend a cool fall morning. The biscuits are the best biscuits I've ever had. They are epic in every way. Flaky but moist.. buttery, just the right amount of salt. On their own they are worthy of 10 stars. However, I think if they started making some jams I'd happily pay for a consistent variety. They could also sell the jams on the counter and I think people would buy them. I never know if I will get jalapeño or strawberry on my visits. I also wish they had a better variety of baked goods and desserts and better coffee. If you are going to have a coffee house the coffee has to improve and it would be a solid 5 stars. read more

I do very much want to leave a better review. Coffee is amazing. Absolutely fantastic hot strong coffee. Unfortunately the biscuits and gravy need an overhaul. The biscuits looked amazing beautiful and golden and fluffy. Super fluffy . Until I broke them open. Completely raw inside. No good. I tried to eat the crusts with the wonderful gravy but they were close to gooey themselves. I'm guessing they made them to thick today and didn't bake longer to account for the size. I've seen pictures and they never looked this fluffy. Gravy was great. Big chunks of sausage and a great savory gravy. First taste as good with a spoon since my biscuits were raw. read more

So we had wanted to try Marty B's Coffee for awhile. Finally got in there and we ordered drip coffee, chai latte, cider, strawberry freeze, brisket breakfast tacos, bacon tacos and a cinnamon roll. I'll start with the good...the cinnamon roll was excellent, it was soft and pillowy and very tasty. The brisket tacos were also very good and flavorful. Now the mediocre...the chai latte was from concentrate, ok but not great and the rest of the drinks fall in the same category of ok. Now the not so good, the bacon tacos were, to be nice, bland. I'm guessing the bacon was supposed to be smoked but it was just tasteless as were the eggs although the salsa was good. I had to drown the tacos in salsa to make them edible. So in conclusion we probably won't come back anytime soon considering the price for a quick coffee and small breakfast was astronomical. read more

Extremely disappointing. I paid almost $30 for 3 tiny brisket tacos, a kolache, and the smallest iced coffee I've ever seen. The ham and cheese kolache had so much flour on it that my hands and mouth looked like I ate a powdered sugar donut. The brisket breakfast tacos had no flavor and were dry, even with the bbq sauce they serve with it (no salsa???). The iced coffee was mediocre and was SO small you could get a LARGE for the same price at 151 coffee. They don't allow dogs on their patio so we ate in our car - the only bright side was that our dogs seemed to enjoy the brisket taco. We are huge fans of Marty B's so this experience was a huge let down. We won't be back. read more

It's another Loud Marty's! No service (order at the bar) I asked where the straws were and person behind bar motioned and said , "down there" meaning at end of bar. I had ordered a cold iced coffee drink that was good but was better at Dutch Brothers Coffee and was handed a straw there. The brisket tacos were ok just not exceptional. read more
