We came in tonight, and being a Friday night, it was packed. We were about to leave, but they were able to seat us at a small table. I am so glad we didn't leave. My boyfriend and I are very confused on how this place has excellent reviews. The quality of the fish was poor, the taste was ehhhhh. Escolar has a weird, chewy texture. The seared tuna tasted like butane. Sushi pieces had more rice than I'm use to with other ayce spots. Nothing special. My partner and I were craving sushi last Friday but didn't feel like driving out to our usual spot because it was later in the evening. We saw this place on yelp and their $2 off AYCE when you check in and decided to give it a shot. It wasn't very busy, but given that they only recently opened we didn't worry. Our waitress immediately greeted us and had us choose a table. She was sweet and attentive during our entire time there. The sushi itself was pretty good for the price. Not as high quality as where we usually go, but honestly that's to be expected as our usual joint is on the coast. I have been here twice and both times it has been delicious. My favorites are the Hawaiian roll, it's very fresh and refreshing, Jen Jen, John, and Dragon Ball. The Super Mexican and the veggie tempura were also very good. My boyfriend says their sushi is also very good. The service has been great both times I have been here, very nice servers. read more

Alcohol is a little pricy if you're not there during happy hour but other than that a place to check out if you're in the area. Came with a friend and we chose the AYCE sushi. The items ordered we noticed that they hand cut the fish per order. No precut fish! Shows some attention to detail. Great selection of rolls to choose from and the nigiri were very fresh. There was an issue with their soda fountain but they were quick to fix it after it was pointed out to the wait staff. Service was so slow.... ridiculously slow. Everyone was so hungry and ready to eat but it took 30-40 minutes for one roll to be made. It was also not a busy day. There was barely anyone there and there were two chefs. First time here. Love AYCE Sushi and drink specials that go along with it. Live down the street from this locations so decided to meet my parents up for dinner. Dinner prices are 25.99 which is pretty reasonable for ayce sushi. When we got there we asked if we could add another table since my husband and i were joining they said "no, you can add a chair". Which would be understandable if they place was full. It wasn't. There were maybe 3 other tables in there. The Sushi rolls are pretty good. However, they didn't bring everything we checked on our ayce sheet. We were still eating and the server kept coming to see if we finished our rolls so we can pay. We informed her we were still eating. They kept constantly looking at our table to see if we were done and repeatedly informed us we will be charged if we don't finish. We said "Ok we are still working". Felt uncomfortable at this point. A lead server who was nice came to check on us and asked if everthing was ok. We informed her yes and told her we were finishing up our rolls. She saw we only had a few pieces and mentioned there would be no penalty since we were almost finished. After paying almost $200.00 guess what we get a penalty of $20.00 for having 6 pieces on our plate, which we were still finishing. The servers response "Oh i put that there if you guys didn't finish." Um hello, we told you countless times we were still working. Oh well. We were excited to have a sushi place down the street. Absolutely terrible. Extremely disappointed. Customer service is rediculous. the woman waiter was completely rude and disrespectful. We came in with 8 people and 2 kids. The waiter gave the children attitude, gave them dirty looks, took the sugar packets off the table. We ordered 4 all you can eat.. took over 45 minutes just to get out first round. There was pubic hair on the sushi. This place is terrible. Never again will come here and hope no one else does either. read more
