I was so excited to get the cake here for my birthday. The cake looked so pretty with fresh flowers. While the cake was pretty, it was a bit dry for a chocolate cake. It was not moist at all and the icing is very thick. With the price I would expect a little more.

This was my first time going to this shop and I brought my mom on the trip with me. The shop was clean and immaculate and the service was quick and very helpful. My mom and I were sold on the lemon custard cake and coffees as an afternoon sweet treat. They cashier is also the barista and she brought our cake and coffees right to our table ! The cake was light and delicious with a nice touch of creamy lemon custard with a lemon jam inside. Very good and the coffee was nice along side our food. I got the orange blossom latte with whole milk and my mom got the lavender latte with almond milk. Both were delicious but if you are looking for a latte that tastes closer to the flavoring the almond milk didn't dilute the flavor of the coffee like whole milk does. Both were very good otherwise! We will be back with my whole family next time

Came here after hearing great things about Marvel Cake. I didn't find it right away and had to pay for metered parking in the shopping center beside it. Very fancy patisserie, clean with nice interior. Offers various quality drinks, savories, and sweets. Love that they have spa water too. Ordered the Royal Hazelnut, Pistachio Mousse Tart and Pink Rose Latte. I almost ate their "paper" logo topping, it sure fooled me for chocolate! Kind of pricey for my budget, but it seems like I was paying more for a nice experience. Great place to indulge though! Will come back to try others.

I absolutely love cute cakes and pastries, and this place truly amazed me with their adorable creations. I had heard about them when they first opened and had been wanting to check them out for a while. I tried calling several times, but the number kept connecting me to a different location. Instead, I decided to send an email, and the owner personally called me back. She was incredibly kind and more than happy to accommodate exactly what I was looking for. The whole experience made me even more excited to support them!

Came here after lunch to get something sweet for dessert. Walked in and it was such a cute little spot. It was the Friday before Valentine's Day and they had so many cute cakes and desserts just for the holiday. There were a few people there having a Galentine's day and it was so cute. As for the desserts, there were so many to choose from. The lady who assisted us out was very helpful and offered us more insight on each dessert. But we opt out in getting a slice of the Napoleon and Serenity mouse dessert. To our surprise the desserts were really delicious, not too sweet or powerful in flavor. The serenity is more of a berry taste and was very refreshing. As for the Napoleon, it was light and not as dense as I thought it would be. I would come back again to try other flavors.

SUMMARY: Prices are a but steep but it's WC. I love that the employees are friendly and approachable. I will come again and try more of their pastries. FOOD: Ordered Napoleon and Mini Almond. The pastries here pretty to look at. Anyway back to the what I ordered. Napoleon is on the small size, perhaps it's more French (three layers) than Russian (at least 10 layers), which probably explains why it wasn't as moist as a traditional Napoleon. As for the mini almond, forget it, get something more interesting. It was rather flat, nothing exciting as I was trying hard to enjoy it. Also I found the sliver if almonds a tad burnt. But taste got better when I added cream from the Napoleon Coffee is good, but nothing outstanding, I mean basic right? Frothed milk stiffer on the latte but still sweet and not burnt. (I actually like stiff more.) SERVICE: Amazing! Menu dis nit have flat white, and the beautiful young lady created one for me. Thank you for going above and beyond. SPACE: Big enough to not accidentally hear your neighbors' conversation and they have tables outside that reminded me of a cafe in France. Casual but in a chic way-- think ballet flats rather than gym/sneakers shoes. PARKING: Street parking and there is also a parking space right of the cafe. Parking not free. READ! We got a ticket when we visited on 31Jan2025, thinking it's NYE and quiet.

Great afternoon sweet treat with Baby Bear. Had the napoleon with a cup of tea. Delicious, flaky layers of puffed pastry, pillowy cream and crushed pistachios. The tea is delicious, with a hint of berry and vanilla. The butter croissant is was warm and flaky. Matcha- perfectly sweetened. Always a lovely time. Like transporting to a new place and time. Definitely Marvel-ous. Service was great, as usual

I have heard so many great things about Marvel Cake and finally got a chance to visit one night. I was mesmerized by the cakes under the glass cases. They look decadent and so tempting! We picked a chocolate cake to go and It felt like a dream eating it. It was a great cake; it was moist, rich and smooth. I wish it would not end. This reminds me of those French pastries I have had in France! Would definitely need to get my fix here for my sweet desire.

This is the best coffeshop in the Bay area I have ever been. It is spacious place woth beautiful Parision decore, stone flooring and wallpaper on the walls. The latte is served on Italian made porcelain cups the pastry is artisan level with fine attention to color and composition.

What a beautiful bakery. Wanted to try everything since they all look like a masterpieces - a great add in WC. Next time would love to try their rose latte.

The layered pastry rectangle thing was really good.

Came by after an early dinner for some dessert. Wife and daughter ordered a few items. No idea wear they were called, but they were moist, tasty, and looked decadent.

This Marvel Cake location might be the most spacious and least crowded amongst the rest of the location in the Bay Area. I was very surprised to walk in and there were no customers, though it was like an hour before closing. And what is even more surprising was that they had plenty of spiral croissants! These spiral croissants are one of my favorite baked goods ever! It combines the flakiness and buttery texture and flavor of a perfect croissant with mousse or custard-like fillings. They have plenty of other dessert options - all are very beautifully designed! The price is on the higher end but with the sophisticated and elegant look and taste of the desserts, it's definitely worth the price.

Super cute location with an interior that feels upscale and cozy. There's a convenient parking lot next door. However, you do have to pay a minimum of one hour. I tried the Serenity, Strawberry Heart, and Crème Brûlée, and all three were absolutely delicious. I was hoping to try the Royal Hazelnut as well, but unfortunately, it was sold out. (Stop by earlier for a better selection) The shop wasn't crowded so we were helped right away, which was great. A lovely spot with tasty desserts and a beautiful ambience. I would definitely come back ...specially to try the Royal Hazelnut!

Receiving a texted coupon for 15% off my order, I was excited to use it since I needed a birthday cake. Though there was an online code, I could not use the discount online. I called the shop several times, but there was no answer, and I even left a voice message but never heard a call back. Finally I noticed there was number on the website to text so I did, and got a response. The response was that it was too late to order the cake, and the coupon couldn't be used online ordering system because the online ordering system was different from what was used in the store. BUT I was told I can still call my order in and pay in advance over the phone to get the 15% discount if I still wanted cupcakes, and if the store didn't answer, the person sending the text said he/she would contact the store. I appreciated that kind gesture. The next morning, I settled for cupcakes and decided to call the order in and pick up the cupcakes in the afternoon since I had no time that morning to go to the store. But lo and behold, I called and again no one answered. I texted the same number from the day before and a response came back that they would contact the store to give me a call. I checked in by calling the store two more times and still no answer. And no one called back that afternoon either. Sadly, I had to give up, but was glad to give business to a way more responsive bakery with delicious cakes.

My first visit was a to-go order of the Original Croissant, Pain Suisse, and Flan, and I loved everything so much that I came back again a month later when I was in the area. Their pastries are seriously exceptional, and I can totally see why they won the award. Personally though, I actually love the Pain Suisse even more! The dough was flaky, buttery, a right balance between crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside with each bite. And the Flan Vanille is on another level. I've tried so many different flans and even know how to make a pretty good one myself, but this is the kind of flan I would bring to a party if I wanted to impress everyone. The location is easy to get to, with lots of parking behind in a lot, and it's very clean, with lots of chairs and tables; yet all were filled this Saturday evening, which is a good sign. There are too many pastries, treats, and drinks to even cover, and we spent a few minutes trying to find our choices, which you mainly pick from cabinets using a self-serve tray and tongs. For drinks and cake (whole or sliced), you order those at the counter. We decided on some pastries, some cake slices, and a drink. And S'mores was the predominant theme today. We ordered a raspberry fruit bite, 2 chocolate supreme croissants, 2 S'mores Belgian waffles, a sugar mochi donut, a coffee donut croissant, 2 slices of S'mores chocolate marshmallow cake, and a slice of rainbow cake. We also got the cream cheese puff and the crème brûlée bombolone ... quite the name! And, of course, a S'mores frappe! The server helping us at the register was polite and efficient, but there was only one register open and a long line. As such, other folks were helping gather the goodies from the cake case, and as we were taking these to go, we did not realize until we were home that the rainbow cake was not a rainbow cake, but a THIRD slice of S'mores cake. Ugh. That one was chosen by the 8-year-old, who was understandably not happy, and the additional insult of paying extra (above the cost of the S'mores) for a cake we didn't get made ME unhappy too! Paid $8.29, got a $6.99 cake slice. The pastries are generally good, with some very good and some more of a "meh." Among the best were the raspberry fruit bite and the coffee donut croissant. That coffee one was a surprise, as it had a soft liquid filling we didn't realize when buying, and the taste was very coffee, which I loved. Will get that again for sure. The S'mores chocolate supreme croissant was also popular. The crème brûlée bombolone was different, with a light pastry and a filling different from what I usually find in crème puffs, and it was tasty. The waffles were not a light and airy as we would have liked, but the flavor was good. The mochi donut was a bit dry as well, not up to true Japanese bakery standards, and the cream cheese puff was all puff and short on the cream cheese (see photos). And the S'more cake was good for flavor, very rich and S'morey, but the presentation really is lacking. Not that I normally compare one chain to another, but for example, when we get Crumbl, the product is very close to the advertising. Not so with the S'more cake, and I am not even sure all the layers were there and in the proper order or proportion; check out the photos and see what I mean. However, the flavor was spot on, and that is the ultimate goal, although the "eyes eat first," as we Yelpers know! And the highlight was not a pastry or cake, but the S'more frappe. It was layered beautifully, fresh-tasting, and very S'morey (yes, a new word I now love!). We even got a second, as we had to eat this there so it could be shared by the group, and it was calling us! Definitely hope it is available next visit, and Starbucks could take a lesson in quality versus price point. Some of the pastries here are really not worth the cost for the product (would skip the cream cheese puff, for example, and the mochi donut), but everything else was very good. Other than an error in fulfilling the order correctly and a couple a poor pastries (quality), it was a good first visit, and we all would come back when near a location.
