I am a patient here and was impressed by the customer service, my biggest thing is dentist attentiveness to detail of my teeth and she treats her patients as if I was her own. She has a gentle hand and truly cares about whether I was experiencing any pain and is a very compassionate doctor. I love Dr. Maryam. been going to her for over 25 years. I am 50 now. I used to have terrible teeth, but she showed me how to take care of them (Waterpik, fluoride rinse, and MI Paste are my holy grails). I do still eat a lot of candy and sweets, but I haven't had any new cavities. My teeth and gums are in tip top shape; meanwhile my friends who my age who go to different dentists are getting gum flap surgery for receding gums and sensitivity. At the start of the pandemic, Dr. Maryam was the first (possibly only?) dentist I know who installed HVAC fans in every room. She was rolling and seeing patients before everyone else. She also maintains higher cleanliness standards than any other place I've ever seen. I used to fall asleep in the chair and she had to wake me up lol. I've been going to her since she had an office on 17th street. I remember flowered curtains. In her current location, she has a tv in every room, but I don't usually watch tv. It's very relaxing. I had a lot of emergencies when I started going to Dr. Maryam, but over time it's been more about maintenance. I really appreciate that she not only fixes teeth, but teaches and empowers her patients how to take care of them as well. read more

BEST DENTIST!!!!! One Saturday my back tooth cracked and I was in horrible pain. I sat down and called dentist after dentist with nothing but voicemails I decided to try one more number, I was frustrated, in pain and just as I was about to give up all hope Dr. Ghasemyeh answered the phone. Her sweet voice was music to my ears at that point. I realized any dr that answers calls on weekends and after hours is someone who truly cares about her patients! my family and I absolutely adore her... shes AMAZING with my children and gentle! The dark, spiders, and dental work. All of these topped my list of 'what frightens me'. However after my first visit to Dr Maryam, I moved 'dental work' off my list. Dr Maryam is very patient-driven and one of her major concerns while you are sitting in her chair is your comfort-ability level. She takes her time and makes sure you understand everything that is going to happen. Some of her chairs even have the built-in massagers, which is a plus! Also, if you are going to be in the chair for a while, she has special goggles you can wear which will show you the movie on the television while she works on your mouth (goggles are fully equipped with a headset, which helps in drowning out the noise from the dental work). The machine she uses for the novocaine is almost like a game; the needle is very tiny and since the novocaine is administered by the machine with a steady, slow stream instead of the old way where the dentist takes a giant needle to your mouth, it ends up not hurting as much. And I say a game because the machine beeps with each specified amount so you sit there, listen to the beeps, and get pumped full of novocaine. All in all, it is pretty painless and easy. I have been going to Dr Maryam for about 5 years now, and since my first visit I haven't even bothered looking anywhere else. I have also referred a handful of people who have also visited her and absolutely loved her. If you are looking for a dentist who believes in 'pain free dentristy', then this is the dentist for you. Plus she opens her office on a few Saturdays each month, so if you don't want to miss work for an appointment, you can schedule a Saturday date with her. read more

I love Dr. Maryam. i've been coming here since i was a kid and as i got older i was forced to see other dentist for a short period of time due to insurance changes and i am so glad i have compatible insurance with her again! Number one fear in the world ... going to the dentist. Because of this I went four years without going to see the dentist not even for a cleaning! Finally after moving to Orange I decided it was time when my current crown began to bother me a bit. Right away Maryam and her staff welcomed me with huge smiles and were unbelievably friendly. I spent some time talking with Maryam about my dental history and my huge fears of the dentist. She took the time to get to know me so well and walked me through the entire cleaning process. Because I hadn't been to the dentist in quite a while let's just say I had a little work that needed to get done. I don't know about you but for me the worst part of the dentist is the novocain shot. Well let me tell you, their automatic novocain is PAINLESS!! I couldn't even feel the initial poke. From then on out it was smooth sailing. I have been to Maryam's office a few times now in the last month and I can honestly say that visiting the dentist now is no big deal. Dr. Maryam takes her time with each of her patients and she really cares about your wellbeing. She has office calls transferred to her cell phone so that you can contact her anytime. She goes out of her way to make sure her patients are taken care of. The staff is very friendly and they try to accommodate your schedule. The only negative review I've seen is from someone who writes negative reviews for anyone so I wouldn't take into consideration the negative review because on that persons profile all she writes is negative stuff. 16 years ago, I got Dr. Maryam's number through 1800 Dentists because I was looking for someone open on Saturdays. I never thought that I would end up staying with any dentist for 16 years, but it's because she's such a great dentist and a great person to boot. She loves being a dentist and she loves her patients. I'm going to be so sad when she retires. Luckily, she won't do that too soon because she will have a very hard time finding someone to take over that meets her standards. In 35 yrs I've seen over a dozen of dentists in different cities. None has been worse than Ghasemyeh. She lacks basic knowledge in the field, is rude to her staff, and doesn't respect the client. Ghasemyeh is driven by one thing and one thing only and that is money. Don't expect her to value your time. Expect her to overbook her calendar. Expect wait time in the office and not enough time spent with you. After I switched from her to my new dentist, she immediately found two cavities and some other issues that were overlooked by Ghasemyeh. Her knowledge in the field is also outdated. OC is not short on dentists, find a good one that deserves your money. read more

Dr. Maryam is the best dentist in Orange County! I have been seeing her for over ten years and she is amazing. I would not change dentists, even if I was offered free dental care.The care and attention she gives her patients is remarkable; she has the patience of a saint.
