I ordered the London Fog and the Sunrise sandwich. The staff who took my order was incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. After I ordered both the drink and sandwich came out quickly. I loved the London Fog. The tea was high quality and they used the perfect amount of vanilla. Sweet but not overwhelming. Normally I would order an Asiago bagel but the employee recommend an everything bagel and she was right! The bagel itself was a great texture- crispy on the bottom and softer on the top. Their pickled onions were heavenly and everything tasted great. I could have done without the arugula and I found some bites to be a little salty but this definitely wasn't a miss! If you can find parking I highly recommend stopping by for some great food and even nicer service.

It was an absolutely beautiful day at the beach and evening so we decided to get coffee at the Gathering Grounds. Then we strolled back to the seating near the Grist Mill and the pond. Grabbed a few outdoor rocking chairs with a little table to rest our coffees on and enjoyed the beautifully manicured seating area watching the ducks, geese and birds while talking away and watching the sun set. To be honest I was kind of wishing I had brought a change of clothing to go into the restaurant but I was in board shorts, Crocs and a rash guard. However, the coffee and atmosphere was the perfect ending to a great day. I highly suggest that you not only enjoy the Old Grist Mill Tavern, Gathering Grounds and Four Echoes Vintage but to enjoy the beautiful property that is well cared for. The matcha was excellent and tasted high quality since it wasn't chalky or powdery. You have to actually walk across the drive thru lane on a mini crosswalk to get into the actual building.
