Love this places menu, not only do they have wonderful sushi but amazing hibachi as well. They have a sunomono tako that is absolutely perfect for your health and the way it tastes. It is so much fun to sit at the sushi bar and watch the sushi chefs. Above that the experience was so special due to our server Nathan. It was busy but somehow he put everything in the system in a way that made our order quick. We will be asking for him as our server next time. Went on a Fri eve, not our first visit. Place was poppin'. Music was a bit loud for my taste but it was Friday night so I get it. By the time we left there was no empty tables! Nice happy hour menu of food and drinks until close. All my food was off that menu: calamari, cheese puffs and spicy edamame. Brother had chicken fried rice and side of teriyaki beef off main menu. Decent service, very limited menu due to re-opening after staff immigration issues. What really earned the two stars was when I tried to use my loyalty points and was informed that they were no longer issuing those points and anything I accumulated was lost. Admittedly, my review of this place would have an additional star were it not for the employee who was homesteading the men's restroom. We've been here a few times. Atmosphere and service are fine ... until you want to go wash your hands. Over a period of 15 minutes I returned to the men's restroom three times only to find approach a locked door. I'm not sure that the (employee) was reading or doing something else, but damn. Really, man? The sushi here has been good on our visits. Freshly made. Nicely presented. I made the mistake of ordering a side of fried vegetable rice, and it was gummy ... not worth a flip. Still, we'll be back, because the sushi and service are better than most in the area. Yes my eyes are bigger than my stomach but i am so glad they are!!! Wow these slices are the thickest pieces I have ever gotten at ANY sushi place and they taste fresh! Love the food always at Masa! The sushi is fresh and flavorful. There are so many options to choose from for the whole family. We love starting with the spicy edamame and tuna tartar. I've been having this thing for udon lately so I went here to satisfy my latest hankering. For the uninitiated, udon basically comes in soup form. Masa has this shrimp tempura udon that comes out hot, steaming, and overflowing with a deliciously tangy flavor. The noodles came in a generous serving with no trace of sodium, which was a good thing. May I add that the soup came in a big bowl though I picked it off the lunch menu. After a long bike ride nothing sounded better than some edamame and sashimi. The salmon was fresh and the ginger dressing for the house salad was delicious!! Excellent experience! I went this Sunday after wanting to visit for so long. To my Sunday lunch is accompanied by a complimentary mimosa and edamame. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance too capture the pork belly bao but it was amazingly delicious. My girlfriend let me have a bite others and I have never has such a perfect bao in my life. I'll be back for my own! I also got the Japan nacho which was great. The chips were so uniquely addictive. I kind of want all of my nacho chips to be made from the same thing. Main: The Masa's Crunch. The plating was great. The roll itself was so delicious and sweet. The honey cream sauce was great. I didn't love the texture, but the flavors were phenomenal . Went there a while ago and the food was delicious! I got a hibachi meal and sushi with crawfish on top!!! It was sooo good! My ONLY comment would be that the vegetables that came with the hibachi meal were coated in a slimy/jelly like sauce and it wasn't that appetizing to see or eat! Their sushi is good. We order sushi either To- Go or through DoorDash at least once a month. My reasoning for 2/5 stars is that each time I order I ask for EXTRA raw ginger. Nearly every time, I get barely any ginger let alone , extra. I don't mind being charged. Please charge me if it means I get extra. The hostess happily takes my request on the phone but it NEVER follows through. I think it's purposeful at this point.
