Lunchdrop for work today! Masala wok saved my famished self lol. I ordered paneer tikka kabobs and was super happy with the sauce and naan bread. It's fresh! My vegetarian colleague had a stick and she liked it (that's a compliment she is picky!) It arrived on time and they didn't forget my utensil! Recommended for both meat lovers and vegetarians!

I have been here 3 times now. It's a great place to get Asian/Indian fusion food. I got chicken lollipop one time, and the sauce it came with it paired really well with the chicken. I got Chicken 65 Briyani, and it was surprisingly well made as well. I got some variety of noodles one time. It wasn't my favorite, it could have been better. Masala chai was less than $3 and it was a good caffeine drink to try.

    Wrap 65

June 18, 2025 review: ---- Ofcourse, this is my favorite Indian fusion place in Austin. Nothing can match their wrap or fried rice. This time, instead of my regular tofu shezwan rice, I tried paneer 65 wrap while my husband got the tandoori wrap. They were both full with lots of paneer and similar taste but would say that paneer 65 was little bit more tangy in taste. So I liked that one slightly over tandoori. I like how they have changed the salad portion - which now comes in a side togo bowl instead of small cup, back in 2019. My only feedback to restaurant would be to use the paper based bowl instead of plastic for salad as well. I also like the tikla masala sauce that comes with wrap. Price is $13 for each wrap and quantity is pretty good for one person. We got our food in around 10 mins, it was Wednesday so not a lot of folks but just some to-go orders.

Everything on the menu is AMAZING!! Today I tried the "spicy pepper with chicken" (spicy level) and it was everything I needed!!! I'm so happy with this choice, I usually stick with the chicken 65 and other bowls but this is my new favorite!!

My first experience was through lunch drop at work. I realized it's too far from my house so for the past 3 weeks I have been driving into Austin for the Sichuan veggie-tofu fried rice (extra tofu). I like spicy so the heat was perfect and the tofu was fried to perfection. The service was quick and has been consistent. The portions are huge so one order of fried rice could feed 2-3 people (I usually eat mine for a couple days. The ambiance is typical restaurant take out in a shopping center, not too fancy but clean and organized. They do have tap to pay and good drink fountain options. I should probably give it a rest but it's so addicting!

I pass this place all the time when I'm shopping at Arbor Walk and we finally popped in. Service was fast and friendly, food was very tasty, menu had a lot of options, and it's super affordable. What more do you need? Plenty of parking, inside is clean, great stop for a quick bite. And the portions were huge. One meal was more than plenty for the 2 of us.

Delicious food for a good price! Masala fries were super yummy, slightly sweet which complimented the masala dip. Butter Masala was too die for - creamy and perfectly spiced. Highly recommend for delicious Indian food.

The Pai Thai was okay and parking was convenient, which I appreciated. However, I never received the egg that was supposed to be included, and the shrimp were very small -- only four in the dish. Overall, it was just an average experience.

Terrible customer service ! I place online order using their website. When I went to pick up order, the cashier dismisses me saying she hasn't received the order. She didn't bother to look at text messages I had or to check what might have happened. I expected better from a restaurant.

Y'all the Indian food in Austin absolutely SLAYS My friends know all the gems and yesterday while checking out the hot DILF's at Home Depot, my friend recommended a lil place around the corner called @masalawok Good lord. Open that door and you will smell scents from the heavens. We were immediately greeted by lovely people and I had no clue what to get as everything looked sexy. The sweet lady gave me samples, I wish I caught her name. And I ended up getting a yellow curry based dish she recommended. My god. I also tried a thicccc sample of the Tika Masala and I would def roll with that as well. I always go lamb when I have the option but the lady said that the chicken is a must for my dish, I got it HOT and they didn't give me white girl hot. They laid it on me. It was Amazeballs. I cannot recommend the garlic naan enough because it is sooo thin and so flavorful and just perfect. If y'all ever in north austin check this place out right after you check out the DILF's at @homedepot Pro tip: save some for later so after you rampage the bars you can sit that puppy on you belly and enjoy another round. The flavors only get better with time. You won't regret it. Let's give this place some LOVE! Over and out

I tried the Ulavacharu soup--absolutely delicious. It's main ingredient is horse gram, which apparently is in the legume family. It wasn't like any soup I've had before, so description is a bit tough. It was fairly spicy to start with, but less so as I kept eating it. The only things I could identify was ground up horse gram, some sweet onions, and some thinly shaved ginger, but it had a lot of complexity. Highly recommend that and the rose milk (especially if you need some relief from the spiciness when you start out.) I had a little bit of my friend's butter chicken sauce, and that was excellent too. More heavily tomato-based than I'm used to, but a lot of depth of flavor. I'd happily order that in the future. I can't wait to come back and try their buffet when my diet restrictions are over :) Service was great. I asked if a few of the menu items have coconut in them since I'm allergic, and our server double checked with the kitchen for me and was very nice about it. Really pretty dining room as well. The location isn't as central as I'd like, but that does make it easy to find parking in the lot. Definitely recommend!

There was one customer waiting, and not another person. I waited about ten minutes. My son loves chicken Tikka masala, so we ordered him some. It is spicy. Beyond the spice the chicken was tough, so even if the spice was toned down the chicken wasn't great. June 7, 2025 review ---…read moreWe visited this place with our friends and got paneer Pulav, rava dosa, poori aloo. We never had Pulav here before but thought of trying because it was listed as new item. My husband was craving for poori so we got the poori aloo and ofcourse, rava dosa is one of the best here so we didn't want to miss that. We got poori pretty quick and were told that other items were coming pretty soon. Rava dosa came after in few mins but it was soggy and cold. You can tell that it's not just came out of tawa. It looked like an old order to me. I asked to call the manager and told about dissatisfaction with rava dosa. He first tried to defend, then I asked him to touch and tell and if it's fresh. He said he will get it replaced and get a fresh one coming. Ofcourse that took 15-20 mins to come. Paneer Pulav was good. Not too spicy and it came with yogurt to balance. Rice was also sticking to each other so it looked like paneer biryani to me but ofcourse very balanced spices version. My friend also ordered the veg keema Pulav but I like the paneer one more. Service can be hit or miss so I'm reducing one star but overall good quality is good. Also when I visited this back in June, they had the buy 2 Pulav at a certain price offer going on. We looked at it later and checked that out cheque had individual priced for each Pulav. Manage gave the reason as we ordered two in 15 mins gap. He later offered us the balance as courtesy but we didn't take it. I think this should have been accounted while creating the cheque in first place. The appetizer was served last, and it wasn't even piping hot, as if they had just made it. That said, the dosa is excellent, textures and flavors on point. Onion pakoda are crave-worthy, crispy and well seasoned. The spices are bright and bold, unrestrained, and deeply satisfying. It's fantastic that so many options are vegan as is. Unfortunately, the issues with payment was the final straw. I had a coupon that seemed to completely flummox the poor guy, and while fumbling with my phone, executed the transaction with Google pay, which is not at all how I wanted to pay. He "couldn't" refund it, for some reason. It makes me so sad. Seems like a great, family-run place with excellent food. I won't be revisiting.
