We walked in on a Friday night after 7 pm and got a table right away. We have been waiting for a while to try this place. We actually got their menu in the mail that reminded us that this was in downtown Delaware. The service was very efficient and our food came out fast and hot! The chicken was crunchy and delicious. I only wished the spice level was higher. We eat super spicy. Monster fry was also delicious. It was a bit sweet which was not what I expected but I couldn't stop eating them until the plate was gone. The cheese sauce was so good! A few yelp reviews said this place was pricey but I don't think so. We ordered a 10 piece wings, a six piece wing, half a chicken and fries and a soda and our bill for 3 people was about $60. I don't think that's too expensive for a sit down dinner. My teenage son who is very picky loves this place and can't wait to come back. All in all, we are so happy we got to try this place! The chicken was good--crispy enough, sauced enough and big enough. I got the honey garlic and a side of the gochujang sauce which were excellent. Prices are kind of high though and there wasn't a good mixed selection. For example, I wanted a wings/drumsticks mix and you can get one or the other. The place smelled really weird though and it really dampened the whole ambiance. Our server was efficient but not entirely too friendly...he also couldn't answer my question about their spicy red sauce... Great place for the area though! Some of the best fried chicken! It's a bit pricey and they don't offer too much of a selection. Drinks are good and some of the crispiest and flakiest fried chicken was even still crispy covered in sauce and eaten a couple hours later after I got home. Atmosphere was definitely more of a bar set up than a restaurant. Service was great everyone was really attentive to refills and asked how I was enjoying the food. read more

A good addition to Delaware for sure. Very different style fried chicken to anything else around, very crispy and sauces are great (spicy garlic is by far the best). Staff is very helpful and friendly, and while I've only ever ordered for takeout, the inside has always been lively, fun, and clean when I go in to pick up. Man. I really wanted to like this place, but, was it awful. Immediately upon walking in you could tell there was a weird smell in the restaurant. The service was fine, but the calamari was in edible, and I still can't get that smell or taste to go away. The menu was confusing and lacked descriptions. The french fries were clearly a store-bought bag and were probably the best thing of the meal. The chicken itself was fatty and not very tender. the sauces were very acidic and not delicious. Place is clearly a knock off of some of the better fried chicken joints., But it is a total miss. I couldn't even eat the meal except the fries. My husband wanted to try this place because we seen great reviews, but unfortunately their customer service is less than desirable. We placed an online order (first time customers) and didn't see an option to have the sauce on the side and noted. Upon pickup, we noticed that the sauce wasn't on the side and it was all over the chicken. We called back to let them know there was an error on our order but the person on the phone said I was out of luck because it's not like he can sell that chicken to someone else. I wasn't asking for him to sell our chicken to someone else, or for a refund from him. It was our first time ordering and we noted the online order. He told me that he will not refund or remake the order. I'm not sure why they think remaking an order is a big ordeal, but they assured me that they wouldn't be able to fix the situation. It's very upsetting to see a small business in Delaware with lackluster customer service, because I was looking forward to trying them out. They recently had a name change and have health code violations when I looked them up online and changed the name to try to eliminate that from their records. It seems very suspicious to me and sad that we will not be ordering from them again. The management should have's better customer service skills, maybe they will learn that in the future. read more

Was excited to try Mashida Chicken and I won't return. Walked in and the first thing I noticed was an odd odor like a prior reviewer mentioned. Sat down and looked at the menu and started to realize that the menu is a total knockoff of CM Chicken. From the white sauce topped with onions, Curry chicken, other flavor profiles to the presentation of parsley sprinkled on top of the chicken. It was identical! Only difference is CM CHICKEN TASTES BETTER! Shame on you for copying another restaurant. I'm surprised you're not sued for this. This place is a joke. I refuse to patron a restaurant that copies another restaurant from its' flavors right down to their presentation. It lacks originality and is unethical. Pass on this place and go to CM chicken if you want to taste real Korean chicken. read more

went to Mashida Korean Chicken for the first time today to carry out lunch. the staff greeted me immediately and I asked if they did takeout and they do, which is great. The atmosphere was nice though so next time I'll eat in. and there will definitely be a next time because the food was awesome! I had the traditional fried wings with spicy garlic sauce and the monster cheese fries. plenty of sauce on the wings and they were crispy beneath the sauce and very meaty! not sure what was in the cheese sauce, but it was yummy. and the fries were crispy enough to stand up to the sauce too until I made it home 10 minutes away. a little pricey at $14.99 for 10 wings and $7.99 for the fries, but it was really enough food to feed 2 people, so I got 2 meals out of it! great new place in town!! read more
