So I looked at a bunch of places before landing on Massage 1. I was slightly hesitant at first due to its lower price in comparison to other places, but I was pleasantly surprised with the end result. For 49.99 (no tax added) I received a great 60 minute deep tissue massage that made me walk out of there with a stupid grin on my face. I had Amelia, and she was awesome. She did a great job of addressing the stuff that was wrong with me and I'll probably end up going with her for next time. Not happy with my visit nor will I return again. I had a hot stone upgrade coupon and was told I couldn't use it because I didn't tell them. Then at checkout, I was told a 20% gratuity was required because "the owners want to make sure their staff is getting paid" (the receptionist's words exactly). A gratuity should be up to me, not a business. I have no problem tipping but I shouldn't be told how much is required. If it is required, you need to just add it in the cost of the massage, not suprise me at the end. I asked for the owner's phone number....nope, she couldn't give it to me. I asked for an email...nope can't give that to me either. So here I am on my trusty Yelp reaching out to the owner. I am very disappointed customer and think their business practices are downright shady. read more

I have come here for massage many times over the last two years or so. About once every 3 months on average. While I usually just request any female therapist as opposed to sticking with one, I have seen one more than once. I'm sorry I don't remember her name. Honestly, I am horrible with names. Especially in that relaxed state post-massage. But I can tell you that all the ladies have given a good massage in the Massage 1 signature style. This is sort of a hybrid technique that blends such styles as Swedish and deep tissue. It is always relaxing and therapeutic. Aside from the relaxation, I like that here at Massage 1 you are not pressured into joining some program with no escape clause. You can schedule any time you want and will not be charged until your next visit. I've been burned by such high pressure scams before. Massage 1's business plan is a refreshing contrast. They do, however, offer little perks. Like lower pricing if you book again within five weeks. Or accruing points each time you visit. Points which can then be used later for add-ons and other perks. Like a club with no membership requirements. This, along with the benefitial massage, is what keeps me coming back. read more

WOW! I couldn't be happier! Found this place today and went in for a full body massage with extra treatment for my neck and shoulders. Monique did a FANTASTIC job! We had a couples massage today for Valentines Day. It's a very nice, clean place with a friendly staff. My therapist Patrice was amazing. She was super nice. Despite my tendency to be really cold, she made sure I was warm the entire time. She gave a great massage and I will certainly come see her again. However, the only problem we faced was the fact we didnt get a full 60 minute massage as advertised. We started about 10 minutes after our appointed time, even though we arrived 15 minutes early. Fantastic experience! Eddie made me feel very comfortable and relaxed! I had the Deep Tissue massage for which Eddie applied the perfect amount of pressure! I almost even fell asleep which I have never been close to doing. The facility is clean, smells like essential oils and plays relaxing music in the treatment rooms. I had an amazing massage here today. My therapist was Reginad, and he gave me the perfect amount of pressure. Normally, I have a tough time getting therapists to give me the pressure I want. In fact Reginald went over my trouble spots, what my likes and dislikes were before the session started, to ensure I would have the type of massage I wanted. My favorite part was the part where he my temples and my scalp.... So good! I have had massages and treatments done at most strip properties in some of the best rated spas in Las Vegas and this place impressed me! Plus the spa is clean and nicely decorated. This is a great place to relax and unwind with a great massage by professionals. Martha is my favorite and recommend her to everyone. If you ask for gentleness, pressure, or anything, it's what you get. She's not only good at what she does but she's also very knowledgeable in all that she does. The location is very clean and when you walk in it smells like essential oils. They use a diffuser and you can ask to have diffuser in your room. All of their towels are white and extremely clean. I was in desperate need of a massage, and it was the day before I had planned to come to Vegas to attend a concert. I goggled massages in Vegas and came upon several to choose from. I read some of the Yelp reviews and decided to take a chance on Massage 1. I was in luck! When I arrived at my appointment I was greeted warmly and my therapist came out to get me within 7 minutes. There seemed to be an immediate connection between Katie and myself, and I felt comfortable and knew that I would be in "good hands". Katie was very professional and was empathetic to my neck/shoulder pain and asked about the level of pressure I wanted. Once she started I could feel the tension melt away. Katie ensured to concentrate on my areas of concern, and carefully and professionally kneaded the knots away. Its been almost a week since I had this glorious massage and my neck/shoulder pain is 80% better.
