I visited Massage Envy about 3 weeks ago and had an amazing massage by Osneidys. It was really relaxing and he worked on specific areas that I had built up tension. After the massage he spent about 10 minutes doing different stretching exercises with me since he said these would help release a lot of the muscle tension I had. My only con is that we started the massage about 10 minutes late and this time was not added on later, he finished on the dot. However, I hope to return someday to get another amazing massage! read more

This was good - I went for 2 years - but if you try to cancel, they like to pretend that you don't exist - they make you fill out and fax a form (like really?), it's all a bit ridiculous. Staff was very warm and welcoming. The friendly and tranquil atmosphere was definitely attractive and fulfilling. I had an 8 o'clock facial appointment with a therapist named Jackie, and she was just wonderful; she was funny, effective, gentle on my face, and just downright awesome. I was nervous because I was so used to my massage therapist in NJ, however, my worries vanished when I met Alberto. He is an incredible massage therapist who really listens to my needs and truly understands the workings of a body's anatomy. He's very intuitive! I've been a member for over 2 years. Like this location cuz it's clean and convenient. Use it for massages on occasion but always for facials. I've been getting them religiously since I was 18, I'm 34 now so I've dealt with my fair share of estheticians. Karen is absolutely the best! She is truly a professional. Skilled and informed on her trade. Never pushy with products, if she ever suggest something it's because u really will benefit from using it. Pretty surprised to see the negative reviews on here; Ive had nothing but two great experiences. I was lucky enough to get Stephanie on my first visit, and shes the reason why I bought the membership. She is an incredible masseuse...sweet, professional, and always does the full 50 minutes (I hate when they skimp on time!). I don't know what she does, but I leave there feeling amazing. I cant wait for my next appointment (I'm sure I'll regret writing her name on here as she'll probably be booked up next month). Definitely happy with the service so far! read more

BUYER BEWARE: watch out before signing up for a membership or signing any paperwork. They bribe you with the $50 or $60 massage instead of paying $80 or $90 for an hour massage if you buy a monthly membership....however its a year contract (or longer) and good luck getting out of it!! I attempted to cancel it due to a move, and they refused. I had to cancel my credit card to stop them from charging, and years later my name was "flagged" due to an insane outstanding balance when a BF and I attempted to schedule a massage. Apparently they have a good marketing scam with those memberships. read more

Cindy gave me THE BEST massage ever. She completely listened and worked tirelessly on my tension and trouble areas, soothed my body from stress, and was pleasant to be around. I was hooked and signed up for the membership program the same day! The only reason I did not give 5 Stars was because my Appointment was not in the system when I arrived so there was minor stress involved if I was going to be able to get the massage at all, but the recovery was wonderful (free sugar scrub) and the staff was so sweet about making sure I still had the best experience. I must say the ME in Mary Brickell, their therapist, and staff changed our entire outlook and turned everything around for us; they exceeded our expectations. They were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we called in for an appointment to the minute we walked out. It was nothing like what we've experienced with any ME before; we can tell the ones we've been to were not the same franchised owner. We were so happy and satisfied with our massages that we both signed up for a membership right away. We couldn't be happier!!! We know where we'll be going for our monthly (or more) retreat now!!!! They just throw out my ID!! I went some weeks ago and to do the register processes, they asked for my ID and didn't return it. They call me later when I was at home and told me that I forgot it but not problem, they will keep it and I could pick it up any day. I went, one week later and they just didn't have it anymore!!! They told me that they can't keep it more that 48Hrs but when they called me didn't say that. The manager only said... sorry, we can't do anything, we just don't have it... that's all!!!! About the service, when I made the appointment I told them that I have some hormonal acne because my pregnancy and asked them if they could do something for me, they said "yes of course" and then when I was getting the facial the girl told me they can't do anything for me because is hormonal and I was there around 30mins but I paid the full service!!! read more

After receiving 6 massages from one specific therapist : Mimi , whom always applies brute strength as if she's venting rage rather than offering a service- I tell her to ease of a bit on my last session, because she's hurting me and I guess she must have gotten upset. Still, she seemed happy to see me again , and whilst I left a tad bit soar I felt it was worth it so I booked a 90 minute appointment with her for the following day. Whilst we were booking this appointment I asked the front desk dude to check with her since he was making my appointment possible by taking up her "30 min break" to fit my session in, he said "not to worry" that there wouldn't be a problem. 2 hours before my appt I get a call saying she's canceling on me... And that they have no therapists to fill her place, and that they can't & won't do anything for me to make up for the inconvenience. For a place that gives 45 minute massages whilst claiming they're one-hour, I did not expect much... But this is a definitely a new low. I've been a member of Massage Envy for 4, yes FOUR YEARS and not once has anyone asked to cancel on me. I have even come in after playing football, smelling terrible (once or twice) and never did I hear a complaint. But hey, you take away someone's break and all of a sudden they have to right to cancel on you 2 measly hours before the service is due. UNBELIEVABLE I'd give 1 star, both to Mimi and the Brickell Store , but they do occasionally have competent people working in the front , as well as the back. read more

Every area of the spa i have seen is clean, and the service very professional. My experience was so good, I made sure to book my next appointment for a facial and message before I left. Sendeyah, at the front desk, was excellent! She remembered me immediately on my next visit, and who would be servicing me. Doris' message was the best I have had in Florida. She is knowledgeable and customer focused, as is Katherine. Her facial service made such a difference in my skin, I have completely changed my skin care routine. Assault !!!! My first and last time ever coming to ME. I get massages regularly and today was the day that I have felt violated. As a women it is already uncomfortable to get a massage by a guy. My massage therapist Tony was very rough, even when I asked him not to be so rough... let alone during the whole massage he was constantly shaking my booty, every movement that he did he made sure to shake it. I have never felt so uncomfortable. When I brought it to the managers attention she said this was a "technique". We asked her if they have a guideline that they have the staff follow and she say yes, but then included that he may have added his own technique. Mind you I get massages every month and have never had anyone ever assault me like this. Tony was a younger guy, maybe he thought he can get a way with this, maybe he has done this to other ladies and they did not say anything because of the embarrassment or shame. Being violated like this makes me fearful to go and get my usual. read more

A coworker of mine told me he had received a massage over the weekend, he described how amazing it was and how much he recommended i should experience one too. It just so happened that around this time i was feeling an extra amount of stress due to school exams and my birthday was coming up. So i decided to treat myself to my very first massage ever. I sought out the close massage Envy near me and booked an appointment a day before my birthday. I walked in and was greeted by a lovely staff with awesome personalities who explained everything to me since it was my first time and assured me everything would be done professionally and to my personal liking. Fast forward to Beatrice the young woman who performed my massage she too was amazing, the hands of an angle. My body felt like Jello i was so relaxed i almost felt like i had never worked a day in my life, stres free and completely Zen. Once my session was up she walked me to the front office so i could pay for my service and was once again greeted and received with warm attitudes and smiles form the staff, i told them about my amazing first experience with them and promised to be back and to bring friends the next time around. DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE IN MY LIFE (bonus points: when i was at the counter i received huge discounts because it was my very first time at their location).
