I purchased a Groupon for a 60-minute sauna experience, and then a 60-minute massage. I scheduled, and when I arrived, I checked in. The girl at the desk, however, was not extremely helpful (acted as if I should have known where the restroom was, and where the sauna was). I thought, "Oh no, maybe I made a mistake"). Another employee was kind enough to notice that I had no idea where the front desk lady expected me to go, and he kindly led me to "Sauna #3." It was a nice personal-sized sauna, and there was ample room to change, there were towels, and there was an ice-cold pitcher of water and a cup. The sauna itself had easy-to-use controls so one can adjust the temperature, etc. I enjoyed my sauna time, and then Gwen, the massseuse came to get me. This was one of the very best massages I have ever had (and I have had hundreds). I would highly recommend Gwen if you're looking for a great massage!! read more

Kinda have to give a neutral review here. Not bad, not great, just kinda good. Upon arriving we were greeted and checked in quickly, which was great! However then we had to sit in the waiting area for almost 15 minutes listening to the two ladies talk about how people were being charged the wrong amount of money on their plans. I was there to relax and this was doing nothing but aggravating me, and making me want to get up and go! Our appointment was about 8 minutes late, which is understandable, but we were there plenty early to do paperwork (as we were told to do), that literally took about 45 seconds to fill out. We did a couples massage, and other than being in the same room there was nothing romantic or "couples" about it. We were far apart and so to try and talk to each other during would have required talking too loudly for the setting. I asked for medium/firm level of massage and got a firm one. I had a man, which I always request, and he was just too rough on me. It's 2 days later and I am still swollen up in my shoulders. My husbands masseuse was very good and she gave him pointers to help with his back and neck during the work week. All and all, it was a good experience but nothing special and I will probably not be back. read more

I got this massage for my husband who was matching to his residency the next day. He told me halfway through the therapist had a cough and said she got it froM her daughter. At the end of the session, my husband went through the front desk to say he went through a whole therapy session with a therapist who had symptoms and didn't get tested. And the front desk said it was just "allergies" and they are doing temperature checks. I then called management and spoke to the experience and they said they weren't aware of it and can't give a refund for this experience. My husband and I both are a doctor and a nurse and we aren't allowed to even work with symptoms. read more

Front staff was great in person and over the phone. The down side for me was my masseuse literally was yawning every 5 minutes. I swear she was literally falling asleep I had looked up because she had stopped massaging me her eyes closed and tilting her head back like she was falling asleep.. plus she was breathing very heavy which I'm sorry but wasn't very relaxing. Massage was nice, however when you pay for a 60 minute massage you should get a 60 minute massage. they should advertise a 45 minute massage price and give the paying client a complimentary 5 minute undress time, 5 minute after massage dress time and a 5 minute consultation. If they need time to clean up after each client that shouldn't come out of the paying clients pocket either which was stated by another yelper. It's deceiving to advertise a 60 minute massage and it not be a 60 minute massage. Won't be back for a massage. What I like is that that it's clean, really competitively priced and that they have a lot of people working there. I plan to try them all. So far I've been with Stan, Nick and William. They were each very different: Stan = perfect pressure if you want Swedish, Nick = smoothest touch. William = I probably liked this one the most but had more sensitivity than I like the following day to allowing him to talk me in to deeper tissue than I want. Stephanie, Brian, Augustina and Tony are next on my list. Kudos for the heated table / heating oil. That was amazing. Wishlist: some work on the small, dark bathroom. Doesn't feel spa-ish. She brought me paperwork to fill out during my services, rather than have me fill it out in advance in the lobby while I was sitting there doing nothing. She also was carrying on a conversation and playing music from a cellphone in the hallway right in front of the massage rooms. My therapist had to say something to her to turn off the music. I came in Sunday for a relaxing massage at Massage Green in Temecula. I have to say it was the worst massage experience I have ever had. For starters, it is impossible to make a reservation online unless you have a sign-in for their website. I spent an hour trying to make a reservation and after much frustration, i called and made a reservation. I was never offered any other treatments, or even asked my how long of a massage I wanted. I was just told they had an appointment at 1. I have waited almost a year for this massage and finally had a chance to get one, so I came in. Even got there 15 mins early. Once I arrived and after I already paid and was checked in, I was waiting in the lobby and I saw massage therapist kept coming in and out of the hallway for about 5 minutes. She never ever called my name, or even acknowledge that I was sitting there, she just kept walking back and forth waiting for someone to tell her what to do. After about 2 more minutes, the front desk lady came up and let her know that I had already paid and was waiting for my service. Now my massage time has already been cut into by 7 minutes. When we got back to the massage room, the massage therapist (I'm not sure of her name because she never introduced herself to me), seemed rushed when asking me where I wanted my focus, I let her know my preferences and let her know I had to use the restroom once more before my massage. She seemed irritated but said okay. When I came back to the room she was gone (I was only gone a minute)., i peeked my head out to let her know i was back and she said okay and gave me a minute to disrobe. That was just the start. The room itself was freezing. I could not relax because I could not get comfortable with the temperature of the room.The massage itself was okay ... the therapist focused on my back like I asked, but the entire massage just felt like she was just trying to get through the hour. Some of the techniques she used seemed a little rough, but I figured she knew what she was doing. The worst part of the massage was the massage table itself. The first time the table rocked, the massage therapist said sorry for bumping the table ... that was just the first time. After that, the table rocked back and forth so much that the legs were coming off of the floor for the rest of my massage. I thought for sure it was going to tip over a couple of times. So much so that I left feeling severe motion sickness. The end of my massage was so abrupt, I didn't get that "ahhh" waking up from a massage feeling. It was more of a "get up, you're done" kind of moment. The therapist rubbed my shoulders for about 20 seconds then put a finger in the middle of my forehead and said "okay Sarah, we're done. You can get dressed and I will meet you in the hall." And pretty much ran out of the room. I got dressed and when I came out she had a cup of water, gave it to me and said "have a nice day." And that was it. Didn't ask me about my experience or anything. On top of all of that, there must have been some construction going on, because during the entire massage, there was banging on the wall and people talking loudly. Like I said, this was my worst massage experience I have ever had. I left feeling more stressed than I was going in. Had I not put a tip on the gift card I was given, before my massage, I probably would not have given as much as I did. I don't think I will ever be back to Massage Green in Temecula after this experience. read more

I don't even know where to begin with this review...should I start with the horrible massage? or perhaps the rude staff? or maybe the difficulty encountered with cancellation of the wellness plan? Let's start with the rude staff, since that is where there has been a pattern of problems. First of all, we called to see about rescheduling our massages, due to an unforeseen emergency. The front desk person was extremely rude, condescending, and wasn't willing to make any accommodations. Since we weren't going to let this company steal the money from us, we made arrangements to get over in time for our appointments. This was very stressful for us, so we were already very tense when we arrived. We were the last massages of the evening, and it was clear that the front desk person wanted to close out the books for the night and go home early, because the first thing that she asked was whether we wanted to prepay for our massages and gratuities. Um, no - first of all we were using credits on our account, and second of all gratuities are based on service. When we told her no, we'd pay when we were finished, she seemed extremely irritated with us. Next, we had our massages, and I ended up with the same person that I had a horrible experience with a few massages ago. In that previous massage, she kept making comments that were rude, and between that and the horrible personal hygiene, I had no interest in getting a massage from her again. I had no choice but to proceed this time, as the company was going to take our money regardless. I regret not letting them have our money, because I walked out of that massage in an excruciating amount of pain. I don't know what the therapist did, but when she was working on my lower back she caused shooting pain in my left side and it never subsided while I was there. I was in pain for hours, and my wife had to give me a massage at home. While we were waiting for the massages, we reviewed our contract and determined that we just needed to provide written notice of our intent to cancel our wellness plan, and provide it to Massage Green. The contract did not specify that we needed to fill out a cancellation form, but when we served the front desk with the written notice, she proceeded to tell us that she needed a cancellation form to be sent back. As she fumbled around trying to find this form, we informed her that she doesn't get to alter the terms of the contract and require that we fill out a form. The contract mentioned nothing about a form, and merely stated "You understand that you can cancel your plan at anytime by sending a written notification to Massage Green Spa to cancel your Wellness Plan.". The representative never found the cancellation form, and said that she'd send it to us later. We told her "no", and that our notice was adequate under the terms of the contract. I then schooled her on how contracts work, and how she and her management can't alter the terms of our contract, which said nothing about a) a cancellation form, or b) specific requirements for notice delivery other than "written notice to Massage Green". She stated that she would leave a note for the manager to look into cancelling the contract, but she didn't exactly exude confidence that it would actually happen. We recorded video of the interaction with the front desk, precisely because after our earlier phone interactions, we suspected that she would give us a difficult time in cancelling it. We are glad that we did this, because it ensures that we have proof that we cancelled in accordance with the terms of our contract. I hope that the management reads this, and does something about these issues. read more

Just joined their membership after one visit. Best membership benefits I've seen in town. I'm the member but my family gets the use of membership pricing too! I can add an infrared sauna session for just an additional $10.00. They even have different membership levels at a way lower rate than M.E. I opted for the 90min level. They are getting ready to expand and are adding a deprivation tank aka Float tank soon. Can't wait to try it out. Best thing is I'm not locked into a long term contact, I can cancel anytime. I booked online and received a special deal being my first visit. When arrived, the receptionist lady only asked if I wanted to use the restroom and Crystal (massage therapist) showed up to take me for my hour full body massage. At the end of the ADVERTISED one hour massage, she said you are all done and left the room. When She started the service at 9:35 and finished exactly at 10:20! That's only 45 minutes!! When I got up she was already gone. When I left she told me to check out with the receptionist which is the same lady (older blonde lady) that checked me in. All she asked was should I use the card you put when you booked yesterday and I said yes; I told her, I thought this was an hour massage and she said it's 50 minutes hands on and 5 minutes for talking to the therapist and another 5 minutes for dressing and undressing!!! Anyhow, even shorting me 10 minutes, there was still 5 minutes missing!!! This is not the first time I got a massage! The receptionist lady didn't even offer an apology when I told her about the therapist not finishing her time!! She kept saying you have 10 minutes to account for taking to therapist and dressing!! Still didn't account for the other 5 minutes lost. It's really frustrating that on top of not getting your hour massage, the lady didn't even apologize and tried to justify. Crystal massage was fine but the lady up front was awful! She didn't even give me a receipt when leaving, I had to come back and ask for one! She got on her computer and said I email it to you. I had great experiences with other spas. I'm new to Southern California and it was a really disappointing experience!!! I don't recommend this place. You would think that being a first timer to your business, they would treat you better to secure repeat customers but they don't care. Had an amazing couples massage by Marquita and Maria, even tough it was late at night we were treated wonderful by front desk and of course our massages. Marquita has her unique way to do deep tissue actually it was the first time I allowed a therapist to use that pressure and it was because her technics were very unique.
