Well I have been coming here on and off for about 2 years as a member but today was the last time! I had a massage about a month ago and at the time was asked by the person checking me out after my massage (who is the manager of this location) if I would like to make another appointment. The therapist I had was AWESOME so I said yes and booked a massage for today same day of the week and same time as my last massage. I show up today for my massage and the person at the front gets a very curious look in her face when I give her my name. She says I don't have an appointment today. I told her I made one with the manager who by the way was sitting directly behind her at a computer the last time I was in. Of course the therapist was not in and nothing could be done! This is now the third time that the same thing has happened at this location. To top it off the manager didn't even have the decency to say any type even turn around and acknowledge that I was there or the situation. I immediately canceled my membership on the spot. I drive 45 minutes each way from my house and to have the appointment just vanish is beyond me. My Girlfriend and I had a very relaxing experience at this establishment. I had purchased a Groupon and had contacted this location to make a reservation since we were going to be in the area for other activities during the day. I am so happy I went with this establishment as oppose to another massage parlor! I purchased a couples massage which allows you to get a private room with two very experienced therapists. The massage was a 60 minute session, and prior to starting, they actually ask you what body parts you would like them to focus on. This is great since a lot of people don't like therapists massaging certain parts of their body. In addition, the bed you lay on is heated which gives your massage a great addition. The Groupon was very reasonable in price and definitely worth it. Next time I am looking for massage I will for sure try to get an appointment with this establishment, hopefully I can find one closer to home. read more

I got a reflexology foot massage, and it was amazing and surprisingly inexpensive. Very relaxing!

Never again! First of all, when I arrived to check in for my appointment, the lady at the desk was on the phone, and didn't bother to even greet me. I should've left then! Secondly, my appointment was scheduled for 4:00pm, and I wasn't called back until like 4:07pm (every minute counts when it comes to a massage appointment). Then, my appointment was with someone named Ashley, but I got grandma Maria instead. Next, I entered the massage room, and was asked to place my personal items in a chair that looked like it was it was drug in from outdoors (dirty). That was my second cue to leave. Nothing in that place smelled anything close to eucalyptus mint, lemongrass, lavender, or any other aromatherapy scent. Then to top it off, Maria gave me a 45 minute rub down (not massage), with some oil, that may have been the same cheap oil used in nailshops. This was a total waste of my time and money. Normally a wonderful experience. Great facility and fantastic therapists. Reservation system has an easily correctable issue. I selected the date and then the specific therapist. When I selected the therapist, the date reset to that day. I certainly could have caught it in the next page while confirming the appointment but it never did that when making appointments at the riverside location. They waived 1/2 of the charge but it still cost me. Again normally great but watch their on line reservation system. read more

When someone did actually pick up, I got put on hold and forgotten (over 10 minutes). Boyfriend and I got a massage today for the first time here at Massage Green. The place is very clean and quiet, so that was nice. I think my therapist's name was Leanna?? She was really really good. I have had massages at quiet a few places, from small day spas to resorts like Southcoast Winery and Burke Williams. While the place was not luxurious with facilities and robes and such, Leanna was better than a lot of the therapists I have had! I had been curious about having a membership with them for a while. I finally did one day and it's been incredible. The first time I had William. He's very professional and polite. We had a nice conversation during the massage. The second time zi went back with my mother in law. I had Briana. She was amazing. She incorporated reflexology into my full body massage. The most recent time I was there with my sister in law, I had Agustina. And I believe I have found the one my soul loves. Her style is very different from any massage I have ever gotten. My husband and I just got a couples massage. This was BY FAR the BEST massage I have ever had! I have had about 12 massages in my life and I am so serious when I say this was the best. I've had a few massages at Massage Green Spa and all of the staff are very friendly, the rooms are very tranquil and clean. The front waiting area is also very peaceful. They diffuse Dōterra essential oils. The other two massages I had here were good but this time I had Marquita and she was next level! I have been having migraines this week due to tension in my upper back and neck. I told her about it and she still did a full body massage but focused on that area. The pressure she used was perfect. She clearly went to an amazing school because she knew exactly what muscles to push on and how to massage them. She also hit all of the perfect pressure points (the part that actually releases the toxins from your muscle). A lot of massages "feel good." But this massage felt like it actually HEALED and FIXED my muscles. My husband had Kandace and said she was amazing too! Nasty place with nasty employees and horrible customer service. To top it off, I was charged $140.00 without my authorization just because I had an emergency and couldn't make it to my appointment. I booked a couples massage for my boyfriends birthday. My boyfriend had agustina, i had requested him to have the best because he has alot of sports injuries. He really liked how professional she was. She was giving him pointers in how to stay on top of his injuries and how to take better care of them. She was really great! I had evelyn, she was very professional. She asked what level of pressure i'd want, And she gave me exactly what i wanted. I felt relaxed and comfortable. Thank God I found Massage Green! I had lost my well paying job a few months and could no longer afford my regular masseuse. Needless to say I was bummed out but a friend recommend MG to me. Not only is it ridiculously affordable, but I actually feel that the massages are better than the ones I was getting for twice the cost. I just love it there. Pretty dissatisfied. Went in for a couples massage with my BF. The masseur (male) was respectful to me, but because of this, I did not get a great massage; he only did my back and my legs outside of the covers. However, I found out the woman that massaged my BF touched every part of his body, even his upper front thigh. Not only did it seem unprofessional, it was unfair that he had a better massage than I did. Double standard or does the woman in question just have a thing for my BF, not sure. My Mom & I wanted to try a new place upon arriving we were right on time. Then advised their was paperwork . However she was busy with other people & could not get to us. We were not happy filling out a lot of information we not joining just trying the place out. We both had asked for a deep tissue massage. This is always what we get. Well it's been one month now still going to the chiropractor to fix what she damaged still hurt . I think she bruised everything inside my body ribs & organs. Went with my mother and she says that she had a great experience, However I did not. the message was fine, but the lotions were cold, the room was cold, and you are not given full disclosure when you prepay for services. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. This location needs to train staff answering phone to not give incorrect prices for their services. Was quoted an amount for two massages for them to be told after services was rendered the price was doubled. Very upsetting as I asked the receptionist twice for the amount. Absolutely not a good way to do business especially with so much competition around you. After speaking to manager she could only apologize but ask what she could do. I informed the right thing was to issue a credit back for the misquote which she did not agree. I felt that my referred guest and I were financially taken advantage of. I concluded with her to just keep my money and train your front desk not to misinform clients on the dollar amount. I told her if I had overpaid by $200 just keep the money and train your staff not to misinform your clients. So upsetting! As of today I will never go back or recommend anyone.
