Visited on my 2nd day of my vacation. We enjoyed a couples massage. Husband fell asleep so you know it was very relaxing. My massage therapist was male and super strong. Took all the knots out of my neck and as well as my shoulders. We selected the hot stone treatment which was excellent. My biggest issue was the cold crème used and the air conditioning was too strong in the room. instead of relaxing I was cold and a bit tense and that's not good for your muscles. When I called to discuss the situation as they asked me to, the person I spoke with, Lori was quite put off as to why I asked for the director of retreat and had no idea why I was calling. After I spoke to her. she said she would call me back the next day, which she did. She too stuck to this is our policy. No flexibility. I'm not sure why they even asked me to call to discuss the situation. There was not even an option to meet in the middle and they charged me. It's not about the money, it's about the principal. Things happen in life and there's usually always an exception. I have a membership at a different spa. I was only going to go here because I received a gift card from a friend. Reservations are highly suggested as they book up pretty fast. They're probably extending because they were going under construction but it did not interfere at all with our massage. I am super particular about my massages, and massage heights fully met my expectations. I got a deep tissue massage from Austin, and oh my god he is a magician. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and he made me feel so detoxed and relaxed afterwards. It was CRAZY good-- best massage I've ever gotten. I definitely recommend Austin to anyone with chronic pain. I will say it is a bit pricy, but 100% worth every cent. I have been a member of Massage Heights for maybe 3+ years and I have a lot of hours accumulated due to me being away for my military obligation. So I'm not sure what's going on or why it seems there are some inconsistencies from when you see the same person twice. The first time I went to Phil he was amazing, he did my second prenatal massage and it was great! The following week or two I went back to Phil and he just rubbed and shaked my body with no pressure. Because of the last massage I decided to let them randomly choose my therapist and I got Mayreiela. She basically just rubbed lotion on my back. And then she had me turn on my back which from the three prenatal massages I have had not one time was I turned on my back, so that was weird. Because I have been going to MH for so long I have realized that they have a certain way of training their therapist but she had no technique or she just simply didn't want to be at work that day. She also ended my 90 min session early. The receptionist acknowledged that I was out of my session early. I will admit I did not complain to the receptionist but the waiting room was full and I don't feel comfortable complaining around other customers. I don't really want to quantify my whole experience with MH with stars from these last 2 massages because I have had great massages from certain therapists who allay have moved on. But I will say it's making me less likely to continue my membership because I have all of these hours that I can't share with my partner or family and it seems like I am wasting my hours on low quality massages. read more

Have been a member for 3 years now! More now than ever, have been going more and once a week. I work for a professional sports team and recommended this place to everyone. absolutely not anymore & ensuring they do not visit you guys either. The receptionists are lazy and continue to make excuses to get themselves out of trouble for their irresponsibility. Was calling multiple times throughout the day at different times of day to book a couples massage with my husband who is also a member and comes with me once a week. Booked something online since it was impossible to call. Later on, noticed one of us could get in & not the other. So called to cancel the booking I made 2 minutes prior. Anna was absolutely rude as can all be on the phone. Cut us off multiple times and not listening to a word we had to say. Asked to speak to a manager, said she was busy. Called the next day, manager was busy. They had no idea when she'd be ready. Gave no callback number. Absolutely not accommodating whatsoever. Extremely unacceptable way to treat loyal customers. I'm distraught. Telling my friends and colleagues not to come to this facility or branch. Do better. I work for customer service and now how negatively bad reviews can impact the business, so I hate to do this. But the treatment we are receiving is unfortunately that horrible. read more

I came in a few weeks ago for a massage. The experience was good and I chose to sign up on the spot. A couple days after my massage, as can be expected, I began to experience some discomfort, in my shoulder and neck area. It has turned into some pretty extreme pain. I was advised not to go back for further massages until the pain ceases. I called into Massage Heights yesterday morning & was told a manager would call me back. After no call today by 4 PM, I called again to cancel the contract since I cannot receive massages. Brianna, who said she is a lead, told me there's absolutely nothing that I can do. I will be charged & the contract will remain even though I have not & will not receive services due to the injury. She spoke over me & continued to interrupt me. When Ashley was asking for my number, as the BFF made the appointment for me, BFF said you can use my cell phone number to which Ashley responded, not in a nice fashion: "So, you're telling me you guys use the same phone number?" BFF did not think it necessary to explain herself to Ashley because BFF is the paying customer and she was giving this as a surprise for me. By this point, my friend told me that she was already upset as for a first time client, she was spoken to in that manner. I arrived to my appointment with the BFF and when we arrived, I checked-in on Yelp, the check-in had an offer, it said: Free hot stone treatment or massage upon yelp check-in, naturally, I tell them I want to avail of it. Then they tell me that the masseuse who will see me, Michael is new and cannot do the hot stone treatment or massage. Massage Heights, if you cannot give this treatment upon Yelp check-in, don't post this offer when people check-in on yelp. Just saying. It's not alright to promise something, then abruptly recant it. I recommend the therapies, but the front staff made me gave the 1 star review. I have called a couple weeks ago to RESCHEDULE a couple appointments. Somehow they had two accounts for my mother and DID NOT cancel her original appointment. Now she carries a penalty which is ridiculous. Been trying to get through with management but I have very little hope. The front staff insists it is not her fault. But it was a simple reschedule... and she ended up adding an appointment without thinking to cancel the original appointment. The contract expired . they asked us if we need to renew and we decided not to do it . Couple months goes by , I kept getting a bill on my CC. I called them and they said that they renewed the contract without our approval . I called them and talked to their manager and decided that they cannot refund me the intire amount which was 450.00 and they agreed to refund me 175.00 and I will have two free massages for free for the difference . I used one massage and they refused to schedule the second one . They are unfair and very rude and their employees don't belong in a service business . Like I said in a previous review, we all make mistakes, they happened but is all about how you work to fix those mistakes. my biggest problem was the way the person on the phone the first time around who was very disrespectful, if she would have handle the situation different then the outcome would have been completely different. With that being said, I've got a call form Massage Heights with a message from the owner apologizing about what happened and the lady I have talk to this time was very nice and we were able to turn a bad experience into a much better one. My massage was just so-so. She just went through the motions and I left feeling relaxed but did not feel like I had a massage. Was given 69.99 first time price but was put on the spot at the counter and asked verbally how much I wanted to tip instead of on the kiosk or paper. I was going to give a 1 star review. However after my massage Evonne really tried to make me feel better after the worst massage I ever received. I paid for a two hour massage and the tech was new and I felt she really didn't know what she was doing. I even added on the CBD and she only squirted it twice and at the end the bottle was still full. Evonne did book me with another tech and her was Taco she was great however it was only for an hour and I still feel that when I paid for two hours I should of been able to get what I paid for.
