His Med-Firm pressure was just right. I left feeling very relaxed. I scheduled an appointment b/c I was in pain from sciatic nerve, got in w/ Gloria and WOW....what a relief, still a lot of work to be done on my back but the pain from my sciatica is gone. This is by far my favorite Massage Heights location, because they're always friendly, check me in right as I walk in the door, and plan my massages around my schedule. This is the massage place you give gift cards to, because whoever you're giving the gift to, is going to love you for the rest of their God forsaken lives. My one and only massage therapist here is Heike (Hyka)! Ask for her, because she's the best massage therapist I've ever had. She's German, Sweet, and Strong. I prefer deep tissue massages, and she does a great job getting those pesky knots, but she also has such great techniques that she can target areas that need a gentle touch. I started going to Massage Heights about 2 months ago when my doctor recommended deep tissue massages to relieve some pains I had been having in my neck and down my arm. Upon my arrival I was impressed with the facility, it is clean and relaxing, offers great products,is in a convenient location (no issue parking) and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in choosing the right program for me. My massage therapist, Johnny, is amazing. He really listens to my areas of concern and I immediately feel better after each appointment. Last night I had my third massage with Johnny and will be continuing with him, I cannot recommend Johnny or this Massage Heights location enough! read more

Can I give this place TEN STARS? My goodness, what a great place! From the moment I set my appointment, to the very second I stepped out. I truly commend the owner or whoever trains the employees... Best customer service I've experienced at a spa. Jonathan was so pleasant to speak with and gave me a couple of pointers. The masseuse that worked on my back for 90 minutes (AGGIE-whoop!) was amazing. His name is aggie, so I think it was destiny lol! Okay, so what brought me to the massage heights? Terrible, unbearable, shoulder pain that would not let me sleep at all. It got so bad last night, I had to ice my back, take pain killers and drink tea to relax-BUT IT DID NOT WORK. Let me tell you, I thank my friend Diana for referring this place to me. I went in looking a hot mess due to zero sleep and I was so pleased with the attention given to me. Aggie worked so throughly on the area causing me pain, but focused on my entire back as well. I can't stress how disappointed I am with Massage Heights. I called to cancel my membership in the summer of 2018. My understanding was I was no longer being charged the monthly fee. They called me in December to try to schedule a massage, where I was told that I had unknowingly paid for 6 months of massages. I talked to someone higher up, who refused to give me my $300 back, even though it was their mistake. They gave me three months to use the massages, but at this point I hate this place so much that I have no desire to go back, and it would not be a relaxing experience. Their business practices are incredibly unethical. Don't subscribe to the monthly massages! It's a trap! read more

Don't book an appointment here using Yelp. My girlfriend booked a couples massage for us and apparently they never got the reservation because we showed up and they had no idea we were coming! On the plus side, they made a makeup appointment for just me within 30 minutes of the time we had planned, and the overall experience was good. Tony did a great job and was able to address some trouble areas and alleviate some muscle pain I was having. I came in with a headache and the massage left me feeling much better, and I slept very well the night after the massage. I would go back but wouldn't use Yelp's reservation system again. read more

I like this place. It's very nice. 1. The front desk are very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. They are really helpful! I walked in and they got me a facial appointment in 10 minutes. 2. I had an one hour facial with Hanka (not sure about spelling). It was good. She recommended some products to me and I like to hear such information. I really like and appreciate how she gave a little massage on my neck and back when waiting for my mask. At some other places, they just walked away and come back. 3. I like how Hanka offer both massage and facial. You can book 2 hours back to back. That is convenient! 4. Their introductory price for new customers are very good. The membership price is good too. There are a couple of options. 5. I like they open 7 days a week including weekends, when most people actually have free time! I will come back for sure for a massage. The two ladies working at the front 2.14.20 were super rude and inconsiderate of the holiday . I was gifted this massage and one hour I received a phone call one hour prior to my appointment explaining that I needed to add a hot stone or a facial to my appointment. Such an inconvenience. Also I did an assessment when I first got there, and those areas were not targeted. Lastly, At the end of the appointment I was told that I need to pay $120 versus the amount that I was quoted on my confirmation. Very disappointing. I have intentions on signing up for the membership but I would never I repeat never do it at this location. read more

I emailed and called to cancel my subscription. Due to the corona and being a healthcare worker I do not feel I need to unnecessarily expose the workers in this place. Unless both of use an n95 and full body protection, ( defeating the purpose oh a massage) . I was told I need to use my credits ( 500 worth) until 2/2021. It is a pity that the credits are not made available for one year. I understand the small business loan is for issues like that. What is more concerning is that the owner and the business did not confirm via phone or via email the cancellation. I am very disappointed about the overall handling of the situation. This business discriminates against essential healthcare workers! I have tried to make appointments for terrible back pain and they will not book me because I work in the ER. Yet they continue to charge me for my membership! If I put it on hold, I can not use my credits. If I cancel, I lose up 12 massages that I have paid for and not been able to use, partly due to a pandemic. Plus I offered to only book half appointments and wear an N95 for my treatment and they said no. My phone has recorded 13 calls to them, I've received 2 return calls. No supervisor or owner has ever contacted me. Only when I threatened with a lawyer on a voice mail did I get a return call. Terrible and sad. I'm in pain and now I can't afford to go somewhere else. read more

I just saw Pedro a yesterday, I'd like to start by saying I hardly write reviews .... But he was INCREDIBLE. It's difficult for me to find a therapist that I like because I'm so particular, but he listened to my concerns and delivered! I like a massage that is a lot more relaxing with a firm touch, some trigger point work but mostly just a firm grasp. He was warm and inviting, and really took his time throughout the massage. I went here to get a massage for the first time because I had a pinched nerve due to sciatica... I didn't get my therapists name but he was great and so sweet and accommodating. I hope I get him again next time will definitely be going back... I didn't have any pain the next day and was able to get back to work immediately so I am truly grateful... I've been going to this place since 2015! So far its been great. The price tends to be a bit expensive but I think considering the location I'm gonna finish this current membership I have. If you are new to this place, 1h is 49.99 (only the first time). When you are a member, 1h is 69.99 . If you are not a member but returning, its expensive. Came out to be over 100 for me one time :/ For the membership, you can do 3months (pay in full) or 12months (pay monthly). There might be more choices. I normally get hot stone massage (super relaxing) and firm pressure. Personally I feel like firm pressure is not strong enough. One thing they should improve is the front desk staffs. I sometimes feel they are a bit unprofessional. They recently hired new staff; hopefully they are better. read more

I got a six month membership, which started in December 2013, and it states on the contract that it ended in June 2014; makes sense. I never missed a payment, and every month you pay, you get a massage or facial. If you decide not to redeem the massage or facial for that month, it rolls over. Great! So I didn't have time in May to get a massage, so I decided to let it roll over. I told them I wanted to cancel at the end of my contract before it went to auto-pay, so they told me sure, your contract ends in July, which was not true. -_-;; Long story short, I showed them the contract, so they ended it, but when I went there yesterday to get my massage that I had already paid for in May(that I never got...) they told me it expired a couple of days ago... WTF? WHY DID THEY BOOK MY APPOINTMENT WITHOUT TELLING ME THIS? I specifically told them that it was the extra massage that I hadn't used. It's not like I was some random person booking at appointment. They knew who they were speaking to on the phone. =\ So I was there yesterday, and was pretty disappointed when they told me I had to pay for the massage. (Front desk is usually very friendly) **I actually tried to give my massage away because they had a friends and family deal for July and August. Got a gift card back in April/May and decided to use it on my b-day as a special treat. Olga was great, she took her time, honing in my problem tension areas while making me feel completely comfortable. The staff were all very nice and professional. The rooms for massages were also very comfortable. I liked: that the massage table was very sturdy, never felt it budge as I got on, off or turned over, their was no fragrance in the head pillow, that I noticed anyway - don't want to mislead those super sensitive noses out there - the cover you lay under was heavy so you felt cozy and protected. They also have several products in the front to extend your massage needs. I have a bodywash and lotion, they were gifts with the card. I've been getting massages regularly for over 15 years and I have to say, honestly Kristin is the most skilled massage therapist I've ever experienced. Kristin is truly a holistic massage therapist. She is highly intuitive and structures the massage around what she determines you most need. Kristin has also introduced me to the many ways that aromatherapy can benefit mind and body. Since becoming a Massage Heights, I've been to the Yale and Voss locations. I have been a Massage Heights "member" for 6+ years, and going to the Midtown location for 3 years. Caitlyn has been my go to therapist for over two years. Her schedule fills up quick, but understandably so given her talent! She is very keen on the needs of her clients and will recommend other therapists within the Massage Heights team if they may be better suited to specific work that you need. For a few months when I was in need of muscle work as well as deep tissue and relaxation she recommended that I see Anwar also. I rotated them every other week, and had great progress! I was pleased to hear Anwar returned recently. The front desk staff is great. They know my vehicle and have me checked in before I even walk through the door sometimes. They are pleasant and respectful. They have gone out of their way to accommodate my service animal, such as putting us in a larger room when available. The whole team there works to make sure guests have a positive experience, from a cheerful "Hello/Welcome" when walking in the door to "have a great day, see you next time" as leaving. read more

If you need extremely hard pressure I recommend Anwar and if you want therapeutic, medium firm pressure, stretching and relaxation I would recommend Adam. Never had to write a review about my short massage experience with anybody. I came in to do the introductory massage bc my cousin told me about this place. I decided to add a face massage, why not. The masseuse's style was very choppy...she didn't have a flow to it. Just didn't feel relaxing bc I was wondering what she was doing the entire time. When it came to the face massage...like wtf? She literally put cold ass stones on my face and moved them around a bit....I asked the receptionist if that's a normal face massage, she doesn't know. I said for a face massage shouldn't they actually touch your face? She didn't know. Anyways...I wasn't too concerned, sometimes you get a bad one here and there. The receptionist, super sweet, convinced me into buying the 3 month membership. I get it and thank them, leave. I get a call 15-20 min later from the saying she forgot to charge my facial on top of the membership. I asked again is that a normal face massage? She didn't know, whatever didn't feel like arguing, I paid. Today! I got gipped 15 min! The second masseuse was good, but she brought me back to the room at 6pm, let me change and came back at 6:13 then started. We ended at 6:55pm. Wtf. I told the receptionist and she said well it's actually a 50 min process. We give you 5 min to undress/consultation and 5 min to dress. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I've never heard of that. Also, she stopped 15 min early, not 10! And if I knew that I would let them know from the beginning it only takes me 1 min to dress and undress damn it! Also, I'm pretty easy just med pressure, relaxing. That's it. I have one more HOUR credit left to use and I'm not quite sure what to expect next time. UPDATE: Angela, director of ops gave me a call with concern about my massage. She was sweet and generous enough to give me another first experience. She was very genuine and gave me a detailed run through of everything. I called back to schedule my massage and the guy on the phone was very helpful.
