Kobe is a great therapist, but I really don't like the tip hustling that the spa orchestrates. Written signs suggesting $40 tip "minimum" for a $99 massage? The clerk suggested tipping in advance as part of her registration procedure. Far too much emphasis on tipping! Makes me think they dono't pay the therapists at all and the staff is reliant solely on cash. This was was the worst experience I've ever had with a massage. I gave the manager 2 weeks to try to reach out and try to change my mind about this place but he apparently refuses to return my calls. I really didn't want to write this review but I don't know what else to do. The massage was performed by a woman named Katherine. She is not a licensed massage therapist and it was obvious that she was not trained or experienced with giving a massage. It was not therapeutic or relaxing in any way. When she said the time was up and left the room, it had only been 50 minutes. Not 60 minutes which is what I paid for. I still tipped the lady 26%. ($15 on a $59 massage). She responded to my tip on Venmo with "(sad face emoji)". I then asked her, "25% is not enough?" She replied "No (crying emoji)" (I posted a screenshot of this with the review) My neck hurt really bad for the next two days. I could barely turn my head or tilt back to drink water. I went back the next day to let the manager know what had happened and how awful my experience was. The manager was not there so I left the screenshot and a message for the manager. I didn't get any reply from this business after 3 days so I called again and left another message for the manager. 3 days after that I still hadn't received any response. It has now been 2 weeks and I've called 5 times. I was told by the employee who answered the phone that he received my messages but he didn't want to talk to me because he already reprimanded Katherine and that is all he was going to do. Don't waste your money on a horrible massage and horrible customer service from this place. read more

I had not gotten a massage since 2019! We all know why I didn't get one in 2020, and 2021 really just flew by in the blink of an eye. I finally schedued something and was so excited to wind down, relax and get all of these stress balls kneaded out. I was escorted to my room, undressed and laid down. When my massage therapist stormed into the room (literally) she never introduced herself. She just told me to turn face down and then just started to rub my calves without saying a word. I thought this was very odd. I have gotten a million massages before and they always introduce themselves or ask if you have any areas to be avoided, and preferences etc. I never even filled out a form that had any of this info prior. Well not this lady- she just walked in and started going to town, before I knew it she was on top of me lol - Anyway, it was odd but no big deal. Unfortunately this was more of a rub down vs a massage. I didn't feel any knots be kneaded out, and she scratched my head for 5 minutes like I had flees or something. I didn't really enjoy any of it to be honest. The tip recommendation posted in the massage room read "$30 and up for 1 hour massage" - The massage was $54 - WHY on earth would I tip more than half of the service fee. I didn't like that at all and I love tipping people. I sadly will not be back here. read more

I came here because I got a gift card as a birthday gift. I was excited to go because the reviews are relatively good. I reserved a 60 minute massage since that is what my gift card was for. The massage was painful and I left feeling sore. Once my massage was over he told me "sorry, I ended up going over extra time, so you need to pay for the 90 minute massage" I'm not a very confrontational person so I just said ok, even though he should have been timing himself as the masseuse. If I reserved 60min I should only pay 60min. Once I went to the register I gave her my gift card and she checked me out for the price of a 60min massage . I still left a $30 tip and then I went home. I later checked my bank and saw I had an ADDITIONAL $30 charge to my card. I called and asked why I had another charge and she said "I accidentally charged you just for 60 minutes but you got 90 minutes". I explained that I originally reserved just a 60minute massage and that she had no authorization to charge me after the fact without my authorization. She kept insisting that I would be charged the extra $30 even though she never had my consent to charge my card after I left. I ended up telling her to cancel the $30 tip and refund me. Thankfully they did refund me the tip but overall it was a horrible experience and I would not trust them with having your card information on file. read more

I had Aris and she was great. She could get in my muscles very deeply and I was impressed by that. She also wasn't pushy about tips (as other reviews have said). I tipped the suggested $40 on a 90 min massage because she deserved it. My only problem is the area you put your face in was really itchy and at times hard to breathe through which made me want my massage to end or at least flip over... which I have never experienced before. He's really excellent at his job as he intuitively knows how much pressure to apply. The facility is very clean and there's free validated parking directly behind the business. I've been here a few times. I would say the massage experience has for the most part been good to fantastic. Went this week with my wife for a 90 min massage. The massage was great! There were only 2 downsides. The first was the stretching at the end was too aggressive and caused me to have muscle spasms for the rest of the week in my lower back. I would skip that next time or ask them to be very gentle. The second is the ludicrous tipping policy. They ask for 50% tips! Look, I'm not cheap and worked off tips personally for 15 years. The standard is 15%-20%. If it's exceptional, 25%. You want to pay your therapist more, charge me more. To me that is the borderline of a "resort fee" at a hotel or random charges with Ticketmaster. I was thrilled to tip $40 for a massage because I loved my massages and was a loyal regular customer. Now with new ownership, clearly treating people well is no longer a priority. The same receptionist hung up on me twice when I inquired about a particular style of massage since my former long time therapist left when the new owner took over. I have been here twice. My first massage was with Johnny and my second massage was with Kobe. I recommend both. This place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I am on a weight-loss journey and I also do a lot of lifting during the day for my job, so my muscles are always sore. I always feel bad about how tight my muscles are because the poor masseuses probably need a massage after giving me one - or at least hand reflexology. Worst massage ever! I went to Massage Place for 20 years (the prior owner) and Massage Hub does not provide anywhere near the quality massages Massage Place did. It does not appear that the owner of Massage Hub is ensuring that his/her massage therapists are properly trained. Had a 1 hour massage and all the female therapist did was dig her fingers into the bony joints along my spine. Manipulating the joints of the spine is dangerous and nothing a massage therapist should be doing. I had to stop her and tell her she was hurting me and to focus on massaging my muscles. She then attempted to do this but it was clear she didn't know how to do this. I left my massage in pain when I had no pain when I arrived. My massage therapist also looked like she hadn't slept in days. I had purchased a package and want my money back. I had one prior massage at Massage Hub and the therapist was okay but he used CBD oil on me without my consent. I am allergic to anything from the marijuana plant and was very upset with him as it made me sick. I will never go to Massage Hub again! read more
