If this is an ongoing issue, it honestly makes booking here feel unreliable no matter how good your therapists are. ------------------------- Previous review: Why have an online booking system that lets clients choose a provider if the assigned therapist isn't actually guaranteed? I specifically booked a one-hour foot reflexology session with Jackson, but was assigned to Trung instead upon arrival. Trung was kind, but he appeared much older and didn't have the strength I was expecting for a reflexology session, so the experience wasn't what I booked for. I still tipped because I felt bad that he was working at his age. When I brought up the provider mismatch to the receptionist afterward, I was told that even if a specific name is assigned during online booking, the actual therapist is not guaranteed. She left the room and never came back. I was left sitting there so long that I fell asleep. To my surprise, I was abruptly woken up by multiple staff members yelling at me because they were locking up, mocking me as I'm getting dressed, after they had forgotten about me. Completely unacceptable. I addressed my confusion at checkout, and they apologized, said they forgot because they were rushing, and told me to come back and they would take care of me I returned 3/15 with my partner. The owner immediately grabbed my hand and apologized, which made it seem like they were trying to fix things. But toward the end of my partner's massage, the masseuse asked him if he wanted a sexual act. This was after they saw us walk in together and paired with my experience just two days ago. At that point, it was beyond disturbing. I was then told to come back on Wednesday, March 18 for a refund. I drove all the way back out to Santa Monica, only for the owner to refuse it. The situation escalated, and he became aggressive and tried to swing at me, which I have on video. I had to call the police, and there is now an active investigation.
