Poor experience. WHAT A RIP OFF! DO NOT sign a contract. My husband and I both had massages. The massages were good at the time and we decided to sign up for monthly massages. However, the next day I was in so much pain that I could barely move. We decided to cancel the contract, yet they continued to bill us for 6 months!! This was about $100 per month for nothing. We made continuous phone calls to the manager and we were never issued a refund. We had to close our credit card in order to stop them from charging our card. They were also very unprofessional and rude. Don't get pushed into a contract! Wish I had seen the other reviews before. read more

Kristen is a wonderful massage therapist! But the policies and procedures by the corporation and franchisee are horrible, greedy and ridiculously anti zen or therapeutic. In my opinion! So get this, if you're on auto pay you pay a set amount every month and you're given a set amount of hours to use but if you don't use it all, the time builds in your account. You can freeze your account so it stops the auto pay but you still have the balance of hours in your account. So I thought okay, I'll freeze the auto pay but go in and get a massage using my bought and paid for hours in my account. You can't do that! In order to use the hours I've paid for you have to be on auto pay. So that keep charging me $90.00 a month and building up more hours in my account that I can't use fast enough. Do not use this place, typical inflexible business that cares nothing for their clients unique circumstances. So I guess they took me for $180.00. NICE! Beware!!!! read more

Massage Luxe is a small, small step above massage envy. I don't mean this in a good way. The facility appeared to be clean and trendy looking, even more so than my usual massage chain favorite, Elements. This seemed to be a good sign. Unfortunately, my experience in total was subpar. My masseuse was friendly, but her techniques through me off. She massaged my back from left-to-right instead of up-and-down, which feels extremely strange and wrong- it has only happened to me twice though. Once here and the other at, you guessed it, Massage Envy. It wasn't a poor massage, but that one part was enough to make me question returning. What solidified the likelihood of me never returning, however, were the other massage therapists at the facility. I would say MOST people get a massage for one of two reasons- to alleviate an orthopedic issue OR to relax, right? I was here to relax, and at least three therapists were in the middle of the hallway yelling, joking and CRACKING UP at each other. LOUDLY. I tried to ignore it for a few minutes- after all, we're only human, everyone can get caught up for a second. But this? this was absurd. The loud conversation continued for awhile, and it was so blatantly obvious that the therapists didn't care or respect the clients. A good portion of the beginning of my massage was ruined because of this. I also found it a bit strange that the therapists were in and out of a break room constantly. I saw a few of them walk in and out of there constantly before my massage- aren't areas like that supposed to be obscure? I could literally tell you everything that was in that room- probably not something thats intended to be exposed in a relaxing, distant type of environment. Overall I would come here if I was in desperate need of a massage and everywhere else was closed for some reason- but with many options available, I would likely not return. read more

The massage quality is not bad. The management is terrible. We did not sign up but paid for the first massage with a credit card. They have since charged the card, refusing to hold their employee accountable for mischarging us. It's apparent they work on sales commission for memberships. For mothers day, I booked 2 appointments for my mother - body massage with a female therapist (Jamillah) and a head / foot massage with a make therapist. Jamillah was excellent - took the time and was a good therapist. Problem with this place, they don't take any accountability for the instructions you provide. I asked for a mask to be worn by the therapist during the appointment, they said they would arrange it, and notated the account. The therapist said she doesn't have a mask and there's none in the facility. So my mother was exposed. For the head massage the therapist proceeded to ask her to strip and massaged her body and spent 2 mins on her head and feet!! My mother was mortified. I called their manager - Brenda - She's so rude and incompetent. She said she's the head manager and the most senior person at the facility but she has no control over what the therapist does!!!! How can that be? If you are indeed the head manager don't you make hire/fire and set policies? I have not heard so much BS and had a more unpleasant conversation than with Brenda. I told her that her apology was meaningless and that she needs to replace with another 30 min session. I paid for a 1 hour and only asked for 30 mins to be compensate. She refused!!! So no accountability by the supposed head of this place. read more

I would rate this place 4 or 5 stars but......I have been a member for almost 6 months. The therapists I've had are all fantastic, particularly Julia. The front staff can be helpful. I have called a few times and had a female staffer make me feel rushed and almost like I am bothering her when contacting the center. She really is the best I've found in my 20 years in FL...I am European and very picky with facials....I found out that many here don't do extractions or leave Mark's since they are not properly trained. The place is clean, but the service wasn't good. My massage therapist was chewing gum the entire time and it was very distracting. The massage wasn't relaxing because it felt as if she was squeezing my skin together. I had a facial which was much better. My friends and I had found this place through Groupon. It was an hour massage of your choice for $35. We had to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paper work and then we were taken to our rooms. I was paired with Kirsten, who gave me a fabulous deep tissue massage. When we were done we were able to go into a room where they had something called a hydroluxe bed(?) and it was basically a moving water bed. That was pretty cool. I purchased a groupon for $31..hour massage and 15 min hydro massage. I called the same day I purchased the group on and scheduled for the next day. I arrived to my appointment super early because I work nearby..I was welcomed immediately and sat in the lounge area. Setting was very relaxing and super clean. The staff offered tea or water while I waited. The "paperwork" is given on an iPod and very simple to complete. I was shown into the hydro massage area and the female at the front (sorry forgot name) explained how to work the machine..Very cool and relaxing. I sat back into the lounge waiting for my massage time. I was scheduled at 7 with Gabriella and was taken back right on time. The massage itself was 50 mins ( which is the same everywhere for hour massages so why the complaining?). She made me very comfortable (unlike other massages other places) and her technique was soothing. I left happy and relaxed! Leaving the appointment I was told about the memberships and was asked if I would be interested, however, I was not pressured what so ever(which is appreciated). Def recommend to others! read more

I am a pretty avid connoisseur of massages-I wish I could get them much more than I do. But I go often enough to know a good massage from a crappy one. That being said-I saw groupon advertising even bigger discounts off "beauty and wellness" so I bought a deal for a 60 minute massage and a 15 minute stay on the "Hydroluxe" table here. Seems like a good deal. Called and got a same day appointment here-convenient enough, cool. It's not exactly in my neck of the woods-all the way out in Weston. So I go early to do the standard issue forms. Amount of pressure desired, yes I'm sure I'm not pregnant, medications, blah blah blah. This was on an ipad rather than on paper which is cool and techie, but in the lounge room which is fairly dark, you don't need a BRIGHT ipad screen in your face. It's not tranquil at all. On this particular day it was pouring rain/thunderstorming almost the entire day, and I had a pretty decent headache that was hanging around with me I thought the massage would help soothe. Enter Moses my masseuse. He seemed harmless enough from the getgo. I prefer male therapists because I do prefer deeper pressure FOR THE MOST PART. However, this guy HURT ME. I have had deep tissue massages before that were not that painful. On multiple times during the session I had to stop him and saw OW and yet it continued. It was an unfortunate coincidence that the power flicked on and off due to the storm-that I can't do anything about and I don't place any blame on the studio for. However I do find it a bit frustrating when I can't move my shoulders the next day because both were pulled out of alignment. Tears were in my eyes I was in so much pain. Massages are supposed to be relaxing. I do think that the waterbed/massage table was kind of a cool concept, I'm glad I decided to save it until after the massage and not do it beforehand. If I had walked out immediately after the session I would have stormed out. I was angry. They are also one of those salons like MassageEnvy that will put the hard sell on you to purchase a membership. No thanks, I don't live even kind of close to here, and if I did, there isn't any way I would come back based on the experience I just had. read more

When i arrived for my facial they say that i booked a massage when i never said the word massage over the phone. I call a manager to clear things up and they charge my card UNWILLING saying it's a compensation fee of 45 because they didn't confirm that it was a facial coupon that i was talking about. This company charged me unauthorized. It's ran by children and clearly can't run a business. The manger Matthew is a complete fraud who cannot run a business for shit. I purchased the Groupon for a 60min massage and 15min hydroluxe massage. Very nice atmosphere, nice and clean, and tea and water is available for you. My masseuse was Laura and she was amazing! Great attention to detail, hitting spots other masseuses ignore. They tried to pitch their monthly membership plan, which is expected as that's the whole point of Groupon, repeat business, but unfortunately the monthly membership is not for me. It's not everyday you have your first Swedish massage on a trip to Miami. The manager was warm and welcoming. The masseuse (Gabula "Gaby") for my appointment was really professional and comforting. A Yelp check-in here gave their aromatherapy free of charge. They honored the Groupon even on short notice and the massage included a complimentary 10 minutes on the Hydroluxe (which is a water bed dry massage). A quick chat with the manager told that he had been a massage therapist before who believes in healing through the power of touch. I would definitely recommend them and I will surely return if I find myself in the Davie area for another trip to Florida. If i could give a negative zero for customer service today i would. Ive been a member for some time and never had an issue until today. They have a freeze option which i did before traveling back home for a month. I am well aware on how it works and made sure i did what i had to. The front desk girl sent me a form via email and i told her i wanted to sign in house instead which i did. Fast fwd to 2 months later, my bank notifies me of a charge. Its been 2 months since they have been charging my account without my consent. Freezing the account only allows them to charge u $5. Not the fill $55 every month. I called and they refused to reimburse me and she claims that she will look into the camera. Manager never followed up and i had to call again and of course they don't want to reimburse me and never looked at the camera. And apparently the ppl who checked me out no longer work there. I liked the massage, I didn't like the contract. It wasn't that easy to get an appointment and kept piling unused months ($65 per month, automatic deduction on credit card). Finally, I cancelled the contract and it was either losing a lot of money or accepting certificates that had to be used within 6 months and pay an extra $20 for each massage. I finally had the opportunity to make an appointment and after much trouble I made one which was cancelled by them the day before. This was over the phone with a strange discussion about how I was going to pay for the massage and that I was a "cancelled" customer. I may still try to make a new appointment or cut my losses. AVERAGE MASSAGE NOT WORTH THE MONEY They are only nice when they're trying to convince you to sign up AFTERWARDS if you need any changes you will not find anyone to talk to. BUT they will charge you anyways no matter if you are sick or cannot come for medical reasons. I signed up for couples massage but my husband could not use it due to a back problem. I called to cancel and to my surprise they still charged my account. When I called, they told me that they have not received my email ! So I decided to use it anyways and not inform my bank to cancel the payment. I arrived with my daughter, instead of my husband, and they refused to make the change, why ?? Before they knew that I wanted to cancel the contract they agreed to change it with my daughter (with a payment of 15 dollars !!!). As soon as I had to cancel, they refused this change. The manager was not nice like the first time that we came. I even tried to explain the situation and no one wanted to listen.
