Terrible, unethical. I had a membership for years. Rarely did I receive a good massage, when I did that person was gone the next time. Currently it takes weeks to get an appointment. They canceled my membership after COVID, yet it was suspended due to COVID. I owed them like $50 due to my credit card being expired which they agreed I could pay when I came in the next time. I found out when I arrived my membership was canceled and they wanted to charge me like $120 for a massage! I had several hours that I paid for that they stiffed me on. Good riddance. At the time I had an hour massage in my account and was told I couldn't use it so I froze my account where they had charged me $5 per month because they said I couldn't cancel! when talking to someone about how I felt she was very argumentative and did nothing to make me feel better other than apologize in a very sarcastic manner! when I said I would never be back she said thats ok we get a lot of new people so we don't need you! Very clean place but sadly customer service at the counter was not the best. I got a gift card for Christmas that I planned to used that was for a massage and facial but after my massage they took me to the front counter and told me I needed to sign up for a 56.00 monthly membership or I would have 26.00 left on my gift card because today's massage would cost 76.00. And that I didn't get a facial. It was all about getting me to sign up for a monthly membership. Even though my daughter bought a revive gift card. And the back of the card showed what I got and on the counter they had signs selling that exact gift card. The only nice thing I can say is that Kayla was pleasant. I was in room 13 so while I was getting my massage I could hear talking and laughing which made it hard to relax. Was a very disappointing experience would never recommend this place. Great for a massage, but confusing customer service. I had a 90 minute massage today with Kayla in room 13. She was very pleasant, very respectful, and did great work. I was offered water while I did my paperwork and was asked if I needed to use the restroom before we began, which I appreciated. I came in with horrible back pains. My back still aches some, but it is significantly better post massage. The rest of my body feels loose and great, which is saying a lot. I have a physically demanding job that takes a toll on me and I deal with chronic pain, so it is rare that my body ever feels "good." Great job, Kayla. The eucalyptus she used during the massage was also extremely relaxing I'm not giving 5 stars because pricing at MassageLux is so confusing. The prices aren't listed on the website from what I can see. And I looked for a long while. My massage ended up being $85 including a $10 tip, but I was told my next massage would be $150. That the price I had to day was an introductory price only. I've had a MassageLux massage before, but at a different location, so that surprised me. Pricing needs to be listed clearer on the website and in the spa. I have a feeling they do this on purpose. The gentleman at the counter after the massage was very kind but pushed the membership very hard. I get it, I've sold memberships before. And it did seem like a great deal, but I just don't have the funds right now and I wish they would accept, "No thank you," and move on. It also would have affected my charge for today which I really didn't want to do. They were never rude! Just pressured a bit much. They did it the last time in Kirkwood as well. I have had a membership with Massage Luxe for probably at least 8 years and have always gone to the Kirkwood location. This was my second time at the Fenton location for a facial. The first time went well, so I made my next appointment. I was offered the 2-add-on special, which I accepted. I asked if it cut into the regular facial, and they said no. Only to find out that it did take away from the regular facial. It traded time from the regular facial to perform the add-ons. What does the word ADD-ON mean?? I thought it means that you add to what you are already supposed to get. In fact, the total facial time was only 40 minutes, less time than it normally would be. Then to top it off, I got an email the next day saying thank you for your facial for a time that was after my facial. I called to see what that was about, and they said they charged me incorrectly, that the add-on special did not apply to the facial and charged me for each add on separately. I explained that that was not what I was told or charged at time of service. You can't sell me something, then charge more after I leave. Unfortunately, it was not an actual charge from my credit card, which I would have stopped, but a charge from my membership account. That is what I call horrible customer service!!! I will never go to that location again and will probably end up cancelling my membership with MassageLuxe. read more

I've been a member of massage luxe for 5 years. I have always gotten facials from Tori, who is amazing at what she does and is VERY knowledgeable with what your skin/face could use or needs. The reason I'm giving 1 star is because they are terrible in the customer service department. I've gotten a lot of massages from here in my five years. Obviously there will be different therapists that massage differently with their own techniques and such. Everyone will find the one that suits you best in what you are looking for. IF I have ever had an opinion on how my session went, "Malcolm", at the front desk (assuming he's the manager because that's who the girls get when customers have a question or complaint), is always quick to shut me down and say "But your session is completed, so there's nothing I can do for you". Well, of coarse my session is completed, I wouldn't have an opinion unless I experienced my session. He's Very rude with his customer service skills there. The ladies working the counter are sweet and quick to listen, but DO NOT talk to Malcolm, it will be a waste of time. I will be definitely going back to get facials from Tori but will NOT get anymore massages. The level of massages there is like the people getting right out of massage school. Every time I find one that suits me, they say "They are not here anymore, they went somewhere else." read more

I went back in May with a gift card. I asked for an hour massage along with specials they were doing. I did two add-ons, hoping to spend the entirety of the gift card. I didn't get either of the add-ons, and the massage only lasted half an hour. Then they tried to convince me to get the membership without even apologizing. I would've been okay with the whole thing if the person giving me the massage wasn't spewing pseudoscience the entire time. "Massage this area to prevent arthritis," was among my favorites. I can't deal with people marketing their profession to vulnerable people unless they're a doctor. Will not return here. read more

I've been to several Luxe's this location and the one by Costco on Manchester are the best! I don't know what I'd do without this place. I have seen a great improvement in my pain that I was experiencing from fibromyalgia. I haven't been disappointed in any of the therapists I've had but I do recommend Amanda, Dana or Kayla and I love Lindsey and Tori for facials. read more

I, for one, had a pleasant and normal experience. This place has a business model based on a membership, so it shouldn't be shocking that they try to push the membership when you're checking out. It's actually very common for businesses to offer a discounted service to get you in the door and then try to sell you on more of said service. If you can't handle this ... I don't know what to tell you. I found the pricing transparent and non-confusing. I came in for the new member special and my massage was quite fine. I also did 15 minutes on the HydroLuxe water massage table, which was nice as well. The pressure was greater than I had imagined! So I'll definitely be back for more of that. I did end up signing up for a membership because they are running a pretty good special and I feel confident that I can cancel if I don't want to do it anymore. I look forward to trying out the different therapists and maybe a specialty service at some point. I do encourage the management to get on here and respond to and/or clarify some of these negative reviews. read more

Worst message ever, have talked with co-workers in my school district and they also had not had a fair rating to give. DON'T GO!!! When I tried to talk with the front desk they were rude and when I called to talk with someone they hung up. Customer service they do not have. So have a -0 for my rating. read more

Don't come here as overall quality is poor. I'd recommend driving out to creve cour to either the luxe or envy out there as both are great and worth the drive. read more
