She is brilliant at what she does. I always get such a drab cut and end up hating it but when I walked out of her salon (more on that in a second) I felt like a million bucks! I told her what I had in mind and let her take over and her ideas are spot on. You can tell she is passionate at what she does and it's obvious from the moment you walk into her salon that she poured herself into every detail. It's in a beautiful house and there are chandeliers and leather chairs with bling!!! It's paradise!! Also with the pandemic going on at the moment, she is extremely cautious with making sure everyone who enters her salon is safe. You call as you arrive and are greeted by someone who takes your temperature before you enter. There is hand sanitizer at the door and everyone is wearing masks and keeping their distance. I asked her to email me a copy of the contract. She said that they didn't have the capability to email. It's 2025 you don't have the capability to email but you're currently texting me????? I also brought it up that I was overcharged at the last visit and I asked for a refund for the balance. I was denied that as well. Every time I went there and requested one of the latest trends they couldn't do it because the owner is too cheap to purchase the polish and implements required. I am disgusted at the way this owner treated me. I'm disgusted at how I have been manipulated and lied to and I am disgusted that every Saturday when I went there I had to listen to the phone ringing nonstop as she called to micromanage the staff......those poor girls. The only thing the salon had going for it was my amazing nail technician and now she's gone, so I won't be getting my nails done anymore. The fact that this establishment is in Wyckoff and I had to file several disputes with my bank because this is the type of owner I'm dealing with makes me sick having grown up in Bergen County. Fifteen minutes before my massage was even finished, the reflexology therapist barged in, interrupting my masseuse, and started rubbing my feet with one hand while playing games and texting with the other. My masseuse didn't say a word. After the massage therapist left, this woman -- who had a terrible attitude -- continued her so-called "reflexology" the same way: one-handed, distracted, and clearly uninterested. I'm not a confrontational person, but she honestly intimidated me. In hindsight, I should have spoken up. I will never go back. I can only hope she's no longer there, because I doubt I'm the first person to complain.
