Pretty solid pizza place! We were hungry walking around Booth's corner (as anyone would be) and decided to stop here for our family lunch. You can order pizza by the slice or a whole pizza. They also have different selections of sandwiches and salads. I just got a big slice of chicken, bacon and ranch pizza which was pretty fantastic. A thin airy crust and the toppings were a good proportion throughout. The cheese and pepperoni slices were good as well. Will have to come back and try some other menu items when we are in the area :) read more

I love Massimos and have been going there for years. Some people try to complain about the crust but the real ones know that's one of the main reasons you keep coming back. How annoying is it when you're eating a slice of pizza, get to the crust, and can't even eat it because it's so hard? Not at Massimos! The crust is perfectly soft and tasty. Even the leftovers will maintain that texture when reheated. Paired with the sweet sauce, this combo makes the pizza melt in your mouth. You'll finish every bite! (And that's not knocking the size, these pizzas are HUGE). The upside down style is bomb, the buffalo chicken with ranch is out of this world (I love ordering it with the red sauce because I just can't get enough of that sweet sauce). You bring this pizza to the party and your friends will be talking about it for a LOONNGG time. One critique? They're only open on the weekends. I need this all week baby! read more

I'm bumping to 4 stars because they've been amazing dealing with the COVID madness. They offered curbside service when most other local places were still figuring it out, and they're always super friendly. Back in the day, we'd hang out at the bowling alley with friends to throw a few games and eat. The snack bar did the best they could and at the time, we thought it was great food. The pizza was mostly bread, the sauce tasted like it was out of a can and the cheese was nondescript. But for pre-teen kids, it was good enough. I thought about those days as I grabbed a slice and a soda at the only pizza spot in Booths Corner. I sat at the counter and waited for the waitress and I believe manager to finish discussing whether or not someone was working the next day. I don't know - call me old fashioned - but the customer at the counter should have been more important. Eventually the manager (owner?) came over and cleaned up the mess left behind by the last patron. I ordered a plain slice and a small soda. Price wise it was a steal as I think it was $2 a slice. There were at least 15-18 options I could have picked for a slice but when reviewing I always go old school. The small slice I got was hot on the bottom and warm at best inside. The tomato sauce was so-so. The slice was mostly bread with a little crisp to it. Cheese was ok. Not a great slice in my mind. Reminded me of the old bowling alley snack bar. The good news is that it's a typical Delco pizza and therefore, the average Delcoian doesn't seem too demanding based on the number of mediocre pizzerias that are around. And this restaurant is always busy. They do have a huge menu with choices other than pizza slices. Price wise they are very fair. I'll be back to try something else another time. read more

Massimo's pizza is located in Booth's Corner's Farmers Market and thus has limited hours. I got 2 slices and 3 (rather large) garlic knots to go for my 14 year old. She ate one of the slices (plain) and 2 of the $1 a piece knots right away and seems to really love it. Later for a second meal she ate the other knot and the remaining slice of "upside-down" pizza - just like plain cheese pizza but cheese is under the sauce. She liked them both but prefers the classic Neapolitan pie to the "upside down" pie. All in all? At $2.50 a slice this is a good way to get pizza by the slice - they have a ton of choices including "square" Sicilian, tomato pie, Hawaiian and many more. And the garlic knots are, indeed, yummy. read more

We have been going here for years, tonight will be the last. The place has gone downhill since the old guy passed away. I guess he didn't leave them the recipe on how to make a pizza margherita the right way. Ours was just pizza dough with a bucket of tomato sauce. The few slivers of basil were pathetic. We've been to Massimo Pizza 5-6 times since it opened. I guess you could say it's now our favorite place to eat at Booth's Corner. Had a great panini sandwich and a nice fresh salad there the other night and my husband enjoyed his shrimp alfredo... Also ordered a pizza to take home that night and it was really good. My only complaint is that 3 times, we've tried to order something only to be told they are out of it... Hope that doesn't happen again since it tends to get a bit irritating having to look for something else to order:( read more

New owners ruined the business. I used to enjoy a nice pizza pie with my family on Friday nights but now I can't. These people are awful.

Stopped by around 7:00 on a Saturday evening, and about one hour before closing. Got the feeling everything was rushed, even though this is one hour before close. That may explain some of the problems with this visit. First of all, and probably the biggest factor in my two stars was the pie itself. It was seriously under cooked and the bottom and crust were doughy. That in itself was a shame, because it could have been a very respectable pie. The sauce had a nice balance, and all the ingredients seemed fresh. There's no excuse for that in a high volume place like this. OK. The other serious problem is that the place was filthy. Seriously filthy. Some employees were headed home early, and the place was truly a pig sty. My wife and I ate at the counter. This gives you a view of the kitchen area. It's a busy kitchen, and thankfully that area was clean. Your pie is prepared in the back, and then brought up and placed on a counter, at which point the waitress then brings it to you. This is where another thing occurs that is nerve grating. The pie is placed on the counter, the waitress sees it, but is engaged in a personal conversation with a prep cook. So you sit there watching your pie cool because your waitress can't be bothered to bring it until the personal conversation is wrapped up. That should never happen. You can traverse that five feet and give your guests their food, and then return to the otherwise engaging conversation with the prep cook. Even worse, the pie is in my full view, and so is she. So she knows I'm sitting there watching her in a personal conversation and simply doesn't care. On the plus side, the prices are crazy, ridiculous cheap. A huge pie that costs only $12.75. I'm thinking that I visited at a bad time- who knows. But just a little effort and attention to detail here could have resulted in a great experience. As it was, raw dough, a truly filthy dining area, and a waitress that watches your food sit while gabbing away made it an experience on the south side of mediocre. read more

I love to eat here. The garlic knots, Sicilian pizza, caesar salad, soups and specials are all super good. I shop the Booth's corner farmers market and usually stop in here to eat or if I want to grab a couple slices of pizza. Also, I like the fact that it is family owned, cooked fresh and always the same nice and friendly waitstaff. Its one of my go to places and always consistently a great dining experience. read more

The people that work here are very racist. They don't respect black people and they treat you like a trash. I came here to get food and nobody serve me. I order my food at the front and they don't talk to you in a nice way. All the white folk was serve before me and they approached them in a respectful manner. I was hurt. Delicious pizza. As a first timer to Booth's Corner despite being a long time DelCo resident, I was skeptical to eat at this facility. Friends suggested Massimo's since we had a group & it has done in seating. I had a slice of white with spinach, tomato & ricotta. It was so fresh & hot. A good size slice. I stand by what I said before about Massimo. Their pizza is consistently good and their other food has all looked delicious (I just can't get past the pizza, good stuff). My only complaint with their pizza is that the crust is a little floppy. Not soggy: floppy. This is probably due to the good amount of sauce they put on, but I personally prefer the extra sauce so it's a give and take. It's too bad that they don't have a location outside of Booths, but really, it's probably good for my waistline. read more

I don't know why I haven't reviewed before because their pizza is wonderful!! Crust is amazing and cheese is delish!! The sauce is a little sweet for my taste but still very good. Lots of variety and always hot and fresh. My only complaint is sometimes the waitresses are a little cranky. Some of them are really nice though too. All in all the of my favorite stops at Booth's Farmers Market and one of the only places near Wilmington to get a great slice of pizza. read more

For Booth's Corner I consider Massimo's fine dining..LOL!! We love this place, the pizza isn't the best you will have in your lifetime but it is seriously good!!! CHEAP and GOOD!!! Always consistent slices and finally had their fries and the combo reminded me of back in the day when you were at your public pool! On our visits our service has always been friendly, not over engaging but friendly and fast! This is perfect because you're at Booth's Corner to get a quick fill, shop and watch all the strange Delconian's that you never imagined existed in Delco!!! My niece and I came here for s quick bite to eat while we enjoyed our shopping. We both got a slice of plain cheese. It was good. The best part for me was a crispy bottom. The flavor was good and the right amount of cheese. The menu is a pretty good size we also got fried raviolis that were on point and tasted fresh. Honestly some of the best pizza I have ever had, and that's considering that I grew up with a mother who instead of ordering out cooker her own. Huge slices and tons of flavor. I don't know how they manage this but their crust is absolutely perfect. The bottom is not soggy but the edge where there are no toppings is super soft - not crunchy and tough to chew. I would honestly recommend any pizza they have but one of my favorites is the one with huge globs of ricotta and tomato. mmmmm. Prices are higher that some other pizza places but that comes with increased quality. Service is average. Biggest downside is that Booths corner is hardly ever open! Wish they had a location outside with increased hours. Of course, I will be back again and again! read more

The dh and I got a pizza from here for take out. We are usually sicilian pizza fans, but this was delish. Good chewy crust, extra cheese that actually was and lots of sausage (round little balls, bigger then crumbles) lots of pepperoni. Have to figure out how to get back here frequently. Pizza is usually very good although the bottom is sometimes covered with burnt flour. Cheesesteaks are AWESOME- the best in western Delaware County.
