    Beef Koubideh

Massis Kabob is a staple in the mall food court for good reason. The service is quick, the quality is consistently solid, and the portions are generous for the price. I ordered the Beef Koubideh, which came with two skewers (instead of just one like some other Mediterranean spots) served over a bed of fluffy rice with grilled tomato and jalapeño. The plate also included pita bread and Shirazi salad. The beef was juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned, making for a satisfying meal. The real surprise was the Shirazi salad. The fresh, tangy, and crunchy vegetables helped brighten up the entire dish and balanced out the richness of the meat and rice. Next time, I might even swap the pita bread for extra Shirazi salad because it really completes the meal. A reliable and delicious option whenever I'm at the mall.

Consistency is key! As per usual Massis delivers! Order is placed and delivered within 10 minutes exact! The chicken kebab was succulent and excellent! Always impressed with the quality control across the franchise.

Massis is my go-to casual food spot at the mall so this review is long overdue. For the price and the freshness of their kabobs, this place delivers. The portion of each dish can feed two adults - I personally can never finish one dish all on my own in one go. Each plate comes with generous portions of rice, a grilled tomato, chili pepper, and a tomato-cucumber bowl of salad in addition to the meat of choice and pita bread. For this visit, my hubby and I got their Combo 12A, which comes with two chicken kabobs. The rice ratio always feels way more than the actual meats itself. Our food was ready in less than 5 minutes and came in a nice tray for dining in. You can always ask for to-go container and they will oblige. Our friends ordered their food to go and they had hummus with their food so I'm wondering if hummus is only for to-go orders. Price is decent for what we got (~$18.00) and I hope the quality of food stays high. My experience is that the chicken kabobs are more moist than the steak or their ground beef plates, but they're all still flavorful.

It was my first time trying Massis Kabob inside the Santa Anita Mall food court. What I ordered tasted pretty good. I had Swai fish with fries and pita bread. The red cabbage slaw was delicious! Place everything into the pita bread and it was good! The fish was savory and tender, just the way i like it. My friend ordered a chicken kabob salad and the salad was huge with very little chicken. Word of advice, if you like meat don't order a salad with meat, order one of the combos. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Next time I would try another item on the menu.

We've been to Massis at the mall many times, so this review is long overdue. I always enjoy their chicken kabobs and chicken koubideh, they're consistently flavorful and perfectly grilled. On our most recent visit, my husband tried the swai fish plate since he's been eating more seafood lately, and it turned out to be a great choice. Our all-time favorite side is the ikra eggplant dip, we always get the large tub to enjoy with their pita bread. Most plates come with generous portions of rice, a grilled tomato, chili pepper, and a tomato-cucumber salad. They do serve a bit too much rice, but no complaints as it makes for delicious leftovers the next day.

My parents decided they wanted to try the place because it looked really good and smelled great. The service seemed pretty quick as well, we didn't really wait long for the food but the line to order was fairly long. We got a meal plate (#8 Gyro) to snack on and try, and it came in a fairly large to go container! I enjoyed the crispy shaved meat very much with the salad it came with and used the pita bread to eat with everything. My parents were a bit unsure about the rice, yogurt sauce, and they debated how they made the shaved meat. They also ate the grilled chili pepper and assumed it wasn't spicy but it was REALLY spicy! So we did not eat that. I wonder if I can just get the meat and salad next time, it was amazing!

Outanding Mediterranean restaurant located in the food court at the shops at Santa Anita mall. Imo, they have the best gyro sandwiches. We ordered two entrees. 1. Chicken kabob wrap which came with chips and hummus. 2. The gyros platter which is a mix of lamb and beef, with rice and pita bread. Both meals were great and huge portions. Michael helped us with our order and was extremely nice. We will definitely be coming back. Great mall as well.

Friendly service and good price. Currently there's a promo at Santa Anita mall where you can get a free appetizer with any plate purchase. Got the chicken kabob plate and it hit the spot for $13. It's less than $15 after tax and fees. The meat was tender since it was dark meat tho I wish I had gotten more meat or sauce to help balance out the rice and pita breads.

My daughter loves their food here, the One in Santa Anita. Every time we come to the mall, she would like to order the number 12AB.

I love this food chain in malls. I know it's very filling compared to other choices nearby and is worth the price. I ordered easily and I waited for about 10 minutes or less. I got the beef kebab plate, my usual go-to. The plate was given to me in a nice to-go pantry container already, which was nice since I could save it for lunch the next day. The size of the kebab was decently big and I found the food to be very satisfactory. Somehow the flavors are not as strong as other ones I tried but it was still tasty. Hope this spot keeps lasting in this food court!!

Yummy as always! This somehow just does it at the mall. It's good it's something I overeat and finish the entire box. Thank you!

I'm honestly baffled by all the 5 star reviews for Massis Kabob and I'm starting to wonder if they were written by bots. The food here is incredibly mid at best. Given all the nice reviews, I ordered expecting bold Mediterranean flavors. What I got was a mountain of bland rice with some lifeless beef on the side. No sumac, no garlic sauce, not even hummus or butter with the pita bread. It's like they skipped all the essentials that make Mediterranean food worth craving. It's like they didn't try at all! This is food for my dog. The redeeming quality was the staff. They were genuinely nice and friendly, which makes this review feel a bit harsh, but good service can't make up for flavorless food. Massis might be popular, but based on what I had, I wouldn't come back. There are way better spots in the area if you want genuine Mediterranean food that actually has flavor.

This might be my favorite spot in the Arcadia Mall food court. The food is always good and everything feels clean and fresh. I usually go for the Luna kebob, the ground beef plate. It's way more flavorful than the steak plate in my opinion. Plus, the portion size is still good, even after everything that's happened with the pandemic and inflation. I'm a big fan of their salads, especially the cucumber tomato one. Super refreshing. I just realized if you order for dine in, it doesn't come with hummus for the lavash, which was a little disappointing. Service is quick and the whole place is kept pretty clean. Expect a line on weekends, but it moves fast. Prices are decent for what you get.

The food is delicious and the prices are appropriate given the portion sizes. Service was prompt and professional. Parking might be a challenge, though there are public lots within a block or two. We went on a Friday night and encountered heavy traffic from the local farmer's market/fair. The best item was the Beef kabob, 5 out of 5 stars. It was perfectly cooked, a very simply salt and pepper seasoning, juicy and simply divine! We got the kids meal, which came with only 4 pieces, and I'd be interested to return for the full adult portion. Also a 5-star experience was the Fried cauliflower appetizer. It had just the right amount of crispiness, without any blackening, and the garlic/parsley/lemon juice combo worked well. The juice was sucked into all the crevices, and overall it was light. I think I could have eaten two portions myself and called it a satisfying meal. I did dip in some tzatziki, which worked great too! Lastly the Chicken shawarma was a 4-star dish. Still delicious and I'd get it again, but it was slightly salty from the marinade and added sauce. I was expecting this to be wrapped up, but it was more an open-face naan with the chicken covering the top. Rice pilaf was savory, I'd rather not know just how many calories are included, the rice was still moist even after reheating the next day.

The beef kebab was done exactly the way it should be, tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. This wasn't fast food quality.
