The tech's at Master Car Care took the time to trace down the problem (a Toyota relay... how did that get in there???) and fixed it with the correct Honda relay. No Master mechanics. was told they would be able to fix our issue 5 hours later was told we can't do it we're scared we might mess it but if I want they can try. Went there today Nov 28 2025 to have them mount my race tires on my wheels. Friend on mine Dino is the tire manager there. He checks my wheels and tires and brings them in and says he can do the job Monday. Mike the shop manager tells Dino to change oil on a car now, then takes my info and gives me a price of $115. I said that's seems Really high, and he says quote " You have an Expensive hobby, You can afford it....Wow that's nice. Thanks Mike. I dont trust this guy at all to keep my parts over the weekend. That guy has no right to talk to me like that or manage a shop and treat his tire manager like that. Riverside is a small town. I know lots of People here. Nobody should be treated this way. I went for a oil change and some warning lights that the car had on, well I guess I forgot to mention one, so I guess they did the oil change, but they didn't said nothing about the other lights, so I went home and I noticed that the lights were still on, so I call back and the guy who answer the phone said oh yes, to check it will be $160 for one light and then you decide if you want for us to do the repairs and the other ligh is around $30, is so sad because he should said something to me when I pick up my car, they are the mechanics, not me, now I don't trust them, be careful if you go there, Maria E. read more

It was a horrible time for me as my sister was dying and I needed to get my car fixed to go see her. I thought they were a trustworthy and reliable repair shop. They had my car for several days and supposedly fixed it but within weeks the light came back on. There was a new manager and he was supposed to have him check the work that was done before but of course they said it was something else -I ended spending $800 to repair the cooling system but within a month the same light came back about the cooling system. Hi brought it back to them and they said it was as long other things and needed $600 parts to fix. I did not want to have them work in it a third time. I took my car there for what I thought was a brake switch fix. After "thorough" inspection by their electrician, they kept my car for weeks, and sliced some wires under the dash to temporarily fix the problem. Well, the issue happened again. I took my car to the dealer, the issue was an exposed wire touching a bolt and shorting the system. The shoddy worth that Master car care did, fried my car computer. Made an appt to get my car checked when they were on Indiana. Showed up at 8:00 for my appt and no one was there. I came back a bit later and the shop was open and they said they were too busy, could I come back in an hour. I was too busy so I just left. Fast forward a couple of weeks. The shop moved to the current location on Arlington across from Old Sears. I called to talk to the owner about my previous experience and give them another chance. He explained that his whole crew is new and the old crew and manager were not working on the up and up. This could explain the huge swings in ratings. I gave them another chance. The new crew took great care of me. They were honest, available/open when scheduled and very conservative with needed repairs. The dealership told me I needed around $3500 worth of maintenance/repairs. They reviewed my repair recs from the dealer and only did the necessary items. Total bill around $350.
