The experience was excellent and the workmanship and quality of the new paint has stood up very well. They removed all the paint down to the metal and started from scratch with all new. Very professional! Today, I stopped by to inquire about a loose or damaged screw on my bumper caused by inadvertently backing up over a metal chair that had slid in the path as I was backing up. I wasn't sure if i had caused any damage and was reluctant to go through any car wash and risk something catching on my bumper. Jason Anselma is the Collision Center Manager and understood my concern. He offered to look at my car at no charge and put my mind at ease. His hospitality and that of his staff really go above and beyond making this my shop of choice were I ever to need body work. Jason was able to tighten and reinforce my bumper screw AND gave me some excellent tips on how to keep my interior and exterior car looking great. As of a few months a go I went to Sergio's Auto Repair to get a transmission looked at for my…read moremother's Van. (And to be fair Sergio seemed to be a bit boggled by the issue I brought him but he still went ahead and did a repair...) Fast forward a few months and the issue still persisted, and the transmission ended up not shifting into other gears, so I ended up taking it to a specialty transmission shop yesterday (03.18.2026). All in all I would recommend this shop but maybe just for simple repairs and nothing too out of the ordinary since they do not specialize in any particular area of autos. *Also, it would've been better if they just said that they dont or wont touch the transmission. Unfortunately the repair that was done here may have ultimately damaged the internals because of lack of knowledge with this vehicle. *On another note, I called the number provided on Yelp (and also what I had saved on my phone) and another "Sergio" answered claiming to be a car wash person and he was confused on how I got "his" number. If they did change the number they should disclose it on Yelp so others wont call the wrong person/ repair shop. (Number I called was 805.483.7901 as it shows on Google and Yelp.) This is not to bash anyone, im simply stating that if a shop is not knowledgable on a particular vehicle they (the shop) can choose to offer the client an alternative shop instead of taking on work they cant fulfill or diagnose correctly. The value was alright all things considered.

Their prices are fair and honest, and even minor mechanical repairs are completed much faster than what I've experienced at most dealerships. In all these years, I only had to bring my car back once, and it turned out the issue was completely unrelated to the original repair. One experience that really stood out happened years ago when my car key broke off in the trunk lock. A mobile locksmith quoted me $250 to remove the broken piece and make a new key. Instead, I took the car to Sergio's. Chava came out with a small tool, removed the broken key in less than five minutes, and had me on my way. He didn't charge me a dime. That kind of honesty, professionalism, and customer service is hard to find these days, which is why I continue to trust Sergio's with my vehicles.
