I've been coming to this donut shop for the past decade, and overall, most of my experiences have been positive. I'm only removing a few stars from today's visit because of an incident that raised some concerns. While ordering boba, one of the cups accidentally fell on the floor. I don't believe it was intentional at all, and I completely understand that accidents happen, especially during busy rushes. However, the cup was placed in the sink instead of the trash, and unfortunately, the second employee was not informed that it had fallen. I happened to be watching when the other worker went to grab that same cup and was about to pour the boba into it. Thankfully, I spoke up and asked not to use the cup, and the original employee clarified the situation right away. I truly believe this was a simple miscommunication, not poor intent. Still, it made me think that if I hadn't been paying close attention, I could have unknowingly been served a drink in a cup that had fallen on the floor, which isn't sanitary. Communication between staff is especially important during busy times so customers don't have to worry about situations like this. I will continue coming here, as I have for the last 10 years, but I hope this serves as gentle feedback. Even during rushes, customers shouldn't be the ones having to catch these things. read more

This one is my favorite location the women in the morning are so friendly and so sweet they keep me coming back but the donuts are great and so are the boba drinks. It's small but they do have a couple 2 seat booth inside. read more

I've tried many donut shops in the area and this shop has the best tasting, freshest donuts. Service is quick and people there are nice. I wanted a custard filled chocolate bar and they were all out but the owner said they could fill a plain chocolate bar right there and then. That's customer service! They have all the favorites. Stop here on my way to work to pick up a dozen of Donuts and they were coming out fresh out of the Oven nice and warm. The customer service here is awesome. Love that they accept Debit and Credit. I would definitely come back here again. There is plenty of parking. read more

I was drawn to this donut store by the title Master Donut. It actually is "Master's Donut", but sadly I did not enjoy their donuts. It was very busy when I went at 7:30 on a weekday morning, several people were stopping to get a donut and coffee. I tried a maple bar, white with sprinkles and a glazed donut. They did not taste fresh to me for being early morning donuts. The actual donut was too oily/fried for me and not very fluffy. The frosting was good, but still not as fresh as I would like. The apple fritter was big and amazing. As others have said, doughnut shops are mostly the same, but here you get a lot without shelling out a whole lotta cash. They don't skimp on the custard filled doughnuts, to the point that our pre-teen kids struggled to finish theirs (we didn't force them- -- just an indication of what you'll get). Maybe this isn't the same chain as Master Donuts? I'm probably going to have to do a revisit (the store on Gonzales), because they both have giant selections (this one without the giant storefront, though) but the donuts don't look anything like what I remembered. The biggest thing is that I was really struck by how big some of the donuts were at this location and didn't remember anything like that here. I also didn't remember tasting the best donuts in Oxnard earlier. These are thick but airy for the raised dough, at least in the chocolate chip roll and the custard donut I had. My custard donut order was indicative of the type of selection you'll find here, too. It's not like Stan's Doughnuts where they have crazy inventions you don't find elsewhere, but it's not the pointless type where they give you pink or white frosting on a cake donut. It's standard components of donuts bundled in different ways that taste different, so they have things like buttermilk bars covered in chocolate frosting and chocolate chips. When I ordered my custard donut, they also had to ask me which one, because the chocolate covered glazed round donut I meant wasn't the only one. There was one without the chocolate frosting I'd mistaken for a jelly donut, an eclair I'd mistaken for a long john, and a custard-filled maple bar I'd mistaken for... well, a maple bar. (At least I knew what one of the donuts was, I guess.) They do all the pieces of the donut well here, although nothing's the best I've ever had, although the dough is a standout. I also tried a bran muffin with cream cheese, one of several muffins they carry. It was noticeably above average, but not on the level of the donuts, so I'd stick to those. Apart from the food, it's pretty standard for a donut store, except that the prices are slightly lower. (If I remember correctly, it's 60 cents for a cake donut, and I don't remember the rest.) The place is coated in that solid, crayon-style pink you don't see in any businesses but donut stores, and has several small tables, mainly inside. read more

Donuts are hard as rock and the maple taste like medicine. Donuts are big but not tasty at all.

I saw 3 plain croissants and wanted to buy them. The Owner said, she can only sell me one and suggested ham and cheese and some other filled croissants. I said I want 3 plain croissants, to which she replied one per customer and she reserves them to other customers. And that I have to call in advance if I want more. Seriously!!! This is the most absurd business policy I've ever heard. We moved in this area and thought this could be it, I guess not. It seems I will have to drive all the way to Saviers Rd(Oxnard Donuts), our go to place for donuts, etc. read more
