I use to like coming here a lot after work since I get hungry and I usually get off at 12 it's the only place open. However, the man working at night is really rude. I work at a cannabis farm and the smell sticks to me and when I would go in he would make faces and one time didn't even let me take my time to order. He's always really rude, making faces, and I don't understand what I did. All I want to get is food after a long shift since I do overtime almost everyday. They have chips, gum, scratch tickets, drinks of all sorts, donuts, and menus. Overall the interior is well maintained. The service is great, fast and very much worth it. However if you are on the more shorter side please be very specific and raise your voice a little more than usual because it gets a little loud in there. What's funny is I initially came here just to buy a couple of lottery tickets during my first visit, but ended up leaving with a few doughnuts...only to come back whenever I was in town. I've tried the apple crumb cake doughnut (skimpy on the filling), classic cake with peanuts, maple glaze and chocolate glaze, Boston Cream, and their chocolate chip bar (skimpy on the filling). Their boba smoothies are pretty good, too; my favorite is the hazelnut, but I've also tried the taro and honeydew. I'd give them 5-stars, but the guy wearing glasses doesn't know how to listen. During one of my more recent visits, I asked for a half-dozen chocolate cake doughnuts and repeated it as he was adding them to my bag. Walking in, you can smell'em. Just by looking at their display case, you see a wonderful variety of goodies. All other Donut Shops look the same, right? Well, not quite right. Why? I should stop there or I'll wind up mentioning all the items. You may keep in mind that Donut Shops get their ingredients from Central Suppliers.That means the flour used to make Oxnard Donuts will be, essentially, the same flour used by others thus, not much of the difference in taste. But the Donut Baker with a good feel for his craft will produce an excellent product. Meaning, the shop up the road will have good tasting donuts as well. In the end, don't take my word for it. I really hate writing bad reviews but after the terrible customer service given I feel like I should say something. I was eating my sprinkled donut when I noticed a black thing in it and it turned out to be what i think is a roach. I called to see if I can talk to a manager and was told they weren't available so I asked to leave a message and the man working basically said that they don't speak English or communicate with their workers. I just wanted some answers and wanted to let them know what had happened to me so they're more aware.
