I'm proud to be the first review! I just bought a new watch Sarurday night at Zales outlet but they don't do resizing of the watch bands. Well I wanted to wear the watch Monday so I needed to find a place nearby open on Sunday. Almost nothing open until I find Master Workshop! They were very nice and helpful and they took care of the watch super fast while I waited. The watch guy made sure it was right. It was too tight so we added one link back and it was just right. Work done to a gold chain. A medal hung from chain and the connector broke. I was in a hurry and agreed to a much higher price than I would normally agree too. $45 for soldering took 10 minutes. I'll do a better job researching next time. read more

I brought in a ring that was a Sales Award from 1984. I have had this a long time. The Ring needed two repairs. A Prong was broken and 1 of the 7 diamonds came out. 1 of the other diamonds split, so only falf of its face remained. They fixed the Prong and reset the diamond. For the Split Diamond, they cut a stone to match the other six and the ring looks Brand New. Only took a day to repair. I would definitely use again. read more

Let me start off by saying when you walk in a business and there are bars over the window you should run but I gave this place a chance based on the reviews. I needed to have a classic Kendra Scott necklace repaired that was no longer in stock at Kendra Scott. I only needed the connector the little round circle replaced because I had broken my favorite KS necklace. The guy brought out a couple of connectors but they did not match. So he brought out another one that sppeared to be used as if it came from another random necklace. The color was the closest to my Kendra Scott necklace. Before decided on that particular connector I told the guy I would like a new one because that one appeared to be used. He goes in the back and comes out with a dusty plastic case with more used looking connectors. He tried to tell me they were new but they were TOTALLY used. I ask the guy if he was familiar with Kendra Scott and had he worked on her jewelry before and he said yes. So this made me feel better that he was familiar with the Kendra Scott brand. He took my necklace in the back where I watched him make the repairs. When I thought he was done he walked toward the front of the store but disappeared where 8 could not see him. Next, I heard water running and he walks out with my necklace in a Kleenex as he is wiping it. I stood there in horror as I asked if he jad put my necklace in water. He replied yes and I ask him why did he put my necklace in water. He said he was cleaning it. I told him Kendra Scott's jewelry never ever goes in water and why would he do that. He tried to tell me he had been in business 35 years and because Kendra Scott's jewelry is not real you cleaned it with water. I told him I did not know of any jewelry that you clean by running it under water. I told him he had misled me and lied that he was familiar with Kendra Scott and had worked on her jewelry before. He tried to give me some flyer from his store about being a certified jeweler...seriously what a joke!!! He told me I can take it in the back and blow air on it. At this point I thought I was being punked or in a bad Saturday Night Live skit. Now my precious Kendra Scott necklace is totally RUINED!!!! This is a totally clown and I would not take a bubblegum ring/necklace there to be repaired. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! I give him 1 star because he is probably better suited to repair toy jewelry that my 5 year daughter plays with. read more

I went here to get my two carat natural diamond ring's size adjusted, when I walked in and he tested my ring he told me that it was a lab created ring and that it wasn't real and showed me his ring machine that checks the type of stone the rings are and it showed blue when it was supposed to be green and apparently blue means it is a Moissanite diamond which is not true, because not only have I bought this diamond from a reputable jeweler, Robinson's Brothers and I have the certificate and I bought this ring before Robinson's Brothers even sold lab created rings/diamonds so this place is NOT reputable their machine they use has very bad reviews and is not accurate he tried to tell me that it wasn't real and this is something I spent over 10,000 dollars on I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place if you want to have any type of service done to your rings especially if you care about them, not to mention that he wanted to charge me $320 for a size change when other jewelers I have been to before but are not open due to the pandemic have charged me less than 100 dollers. read more

I wanted to updated you on my last review 01/23/2020. The owner called me the very next day to ask me to change the review because this is his business. He also said if I had wanted the safety change to match my bracelet I should have said so. The problem I have with this is you should have at least informed me you may be using a different color gold or a used link necklace before I left, am I trusting and paying you because you are the JEWELER. I have since had a true safety change put on it and the gold matches and is evenly put near each side of the clasp. My new jeweler also cleaned up where the Master's jeweler had put the safety chain unevenly(one side on top the other on bottom). Now the reason my diamonds looked black is because Master's jeweler just soldered my bracelet with out cleaning it and made it look black and ugly. The new jeweler explained to me that each diamond was connected to the next diamond by a pin(This is an 8 carat princess cut tennis bracelet). The new jeweler removed the solder an replaced my bracelet with the correct pin. Now I was never told of the pin by Master's jeweler, maybe he thinks i should have known that too, who knows. All I know is I paid a pretty penny to get all that work to my bracelet fixed and it is sparkling again! Yes Master's may fix costume jewelry and change watch batteries very well but please before you take custom or valuable jewelry do your research and read all reviews even the ones in "15 Reviews for Master's Workshop 2 that are not currently recommended" especially the most current ones as they are not factored into the business's overall star rating. Several months ago brought in a college ring for resizing. Left the ring. Picked it up. Fit great. Paid the bill. Honestly, was not 100% happy with the way the repaired area looked, but it wasn't rough and looked okay, again it fit great. Months later the line where the ring was cut and put back together has separated. I expected that the "repair" would be at no cost since it was only months ago that he worked on the ring, not three years ago, two years ago or even one year ago...only months. He wanted to charge us $70, which is $30 less than the normal $100 he said. We are unhappy with the customer service (since we used his business twice, spending $480+ having two rings resized) and the quality of work is not quiet professional quality. The ring was picked up without Master Workshop repairing it and I will be taking it somewhere else. Try them at your own risk, because you might have to pay extra for any repairs later on. read more
