Mango, horchata, blueberry, and black sesame

I came around 10am on Monday, and it was empty. I got the mango matcha which is not a latte and not as filling because it uses rice milk. It was a nice balance for me. I tried sips of the blueberry matcha and the black sesame matcha which were both good too. I think the black sesame was my favorite actually.

Glad to learn that there's a Matcha Magic in Redmond, a city I frequent. We were at the nearby Anderson Park, taking our dog on a walk and saw a lot of people outside the entrance of a retail space that was in an apartment building. Thus, we come to Matcha Magic. I've been to the one in Bellevue on Old Main, which I like. I like the drinks here, especially the different recipes. Is it my favorite matcha? No. And that is the case for my experience in Redmond as I tried the hojicha, which I personally like better than matcha, and it was good here, but not my favorite. I ordered the hojicha latte after seeing they serve different hojicha drinks, which didn't take long to get. The hojicha was fine, but could've been way stronger, with that roasted, bold flavor that hojicha is known for. Matcha Magic is not where to get hojicha if you like yours super strong like in Japan. However, the drink was still good with the oat milk. I likely would just stick to a matcha drink with some of their fun flavors, like the black sesame or earl grey one. Or one of their smoothies, which looked refreshing, especially for the summer. This location is great, with the open windows that look out to the park, baby pink aesthetics and a menu that's worth exploring. If nearby and in need of a yummy drink, I'll visit Matcha Magic.

I love this place very MATCHA! I ordered the Toast Flight! 10 outta 10 Also had the Banana Matcha Latte.. omg! I'm obsessed! There was a piece of banana brûlées on top as garnish and it was soo good. Also, 10 outta 10 Ordered a couple of other drinks for my daughter and niece. The staff was so nice and the place is cute for sure. Only regret is I'm only visiting so I won't be able to enjoy this more.

There's a cute vibe inside. Music is light, upbeat & pop-y. There's ample light. The staff is nice and quick. The mango sticky rice matcha has real mango in it. But it doesn't give "sticky rice" as much as mango. Still a nice matcha drink though.

PHENOMENAL matcha! Truly one of the best I've ever had! Came into Matcha Magic with a friend and got to try their classic Matcha Latte. It was perfectly semi-sweet, earthy, and had a good matcha to milk ratio. The service was decent for such a packed crowd - very nice to see the staff take their time to craft each drink in front of you. The ambiance is beautiful! With the half-inside half-outside storefront, it provides such a nice environment to catch up with a friend or get some work done. Will 100% be back!

The Purple Rain drink is so good! It's the only place that combines both Ube and Lavender so beautifully with the matcha cold foam on top. It's my go-to drink here! I also like the Toasted Marshmallow drink that comes with a toasted marshmallow on top. Women owned business, very cute interior, nice service, in a beautiful location. Love that this location is walkable from the Redmond downtown station as well, and I can see them getting pretty busy as foot traffic from the train increases.

This was a very tasty and refreshing matcha latte where the drinks were not overly sweet and still had the slightly bitter matcha taste. I personally liked the strawberry flavor the best as the slight fruity flavor complemented the match flavor. They hand whisk their matcha and make sure it's not grainy at all. I was happily surprised by how good they were!

I loved my ube matcha latte!! The ube and matcha flavors go really well together, matcha quality is really good and the sweetness was just right! My sister got the blueberry matcha, it tastes okay, I just don't really like fruit flavor and matcha go well together. The inside is really cute and tidy and service was friendly and quick! We ended up ordering the OG Matcha magic Matcha and a sacrilegious Matcha banana smoothie, which didn't have any Matcha. Both drinks were delicious and surprisingly not too sweet, which is perfect. I also love it when a shop goes all out with the decoration in this place. It definitely takes the wind out of the sails of other Matcha shops that don't really do much when it comes to the indoor environments. Sometimes, you can play a role in what the food tastes like, and this place definitely goes above and beyond. read more

i am kind of a snob with matcha so i was not expecting much but this place is legit. they made the drink in front of me and used a sieve and a food scale and everything. i'm very impressed. the drink was awesome, honoring the bitterness of matcha while uplifting it with toasted marshmallow. def want to come back and try the other drinks. i wish there was better parking around here though. read more

We've been waiting for a good matcha spot to open, finally! We had the horchata matcha and the regular matcha latte. Both were so good but our favorite was the horchata matcha. The vibes are so cute, aesthetically pleasing. Officially our new matcha spot! The employees were also very friendly and the service was great. First up the woman who made my juice was so friendly and helpful, I wish I grabbed her name to shout her out. I ended up with the power green and added ginger. I told her I like a bit of a kick at the end with the ginger. She nailed it and got a good balance of that ginger spice that blended in with the rest of the drink. Will definitely be back!

It's hard to find a coffee shop that delivers a great coffee consistently but they always do. In addition the staff is always friendly. If you ever get the chance you should stop by.

The barista helping me was so patient and grabbed her manager to answer any questions she couldn't. Either way, you could probably find another street to park on and walk to the cafe as this district is pretty walkable. Overall, love it!!! I can't speak to pastries and other menu items since we were there towards the end of the business day. Majority of the folks seated along the counter were taking advantage of natural light while working on their respective laptops. Counter seating, as well as, table seating are available onsite. This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. After waiting 10 minutes while several customers who ordered after me received their drinks, I went back to ask about it. Instead of apologizing, the cashier was rude and argumentative. I asked for a refund since I had to leave, but they accidentally charged my card a second time instead. Eventually, another employee tried to process the refund and told me to check my card in a couple of days. This isn't about $6--it's about poor customer service, lack of training, and no accountability. Mercury Coffee used to be much better. I hope management addresses these issues.
