Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney. The outside air conditioner was only 10 years old. I'm convinced SK had never done anything other than collect their fee and try to sell stuff we didn't want or need.

When I called on 7/19/2021 requesting service repair on my second house their Service Technician Joseph N. arrived in a timely fashion. Joseph is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and quickly determined the repair that need to be done. The policy of HSI is a $99.00 charge to come to the site and I agreed to it. Unbeknown to me HSI bills for repairs in various steps / price levels based on what work is done. This was not made explained to me by HSI. So I was billed $404.00 for a 20 minute installation of a $20.00 part. When I sent an email to HSI questioning the billing I was ignored. So apparently they are good at installing systems, but gouge you when future repairs are needed. My advice shop around when you need repairs. Evidently being a repeat customer means nothing to them and that's sad because they lost me for any future work

Absolutely profession from the knock on the door. He introduced himself as we expressed he explained each step in detail and made sure that I understood my options. He was kind enough to work on Saturday so that my problem did not continue through the weekend. The problem was resolved quickly and professionally. I called them on Monday and they said they would be out late morning on Tuesday(this was the week of 8/17/2020). Tuesday came, waited all day. No one showed, no one called. So I called(about 2:45pm) and was told they were still coming. No one came, no one called. To this day, 7 days later, no one from this company has yet to call to offer an explanation or an apology. Not only will I never call them again but I will never recommend them either. Terrible customer service is an understatement. The next day I called one of their competitors and they were out in less than 30 minutes, found the issue, and made repairs. That's how you gain a lifelong customer.
