Please read the exclusions in the warranty before buying it is purely a waste of your money as well as the Simon LI St.John couch. Customer service said there's nothing they can do for me. Beware of unscrupulous sales practices!! Our sales representative was so anxious to make a sale that he offered a 5% discount to close the deal. Unfortunately, he was not authorized to offer that discount. Nevertheless he concocted a story about when the discount would be applied and said we first needed to process the purchase with a credit card then they could process the discount. None of this was true. I found out that all sales personnel are independent agents on commission and not employees. Fraudulent sales practices are seemingly not monitored or controlled by store management. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Furthermore, they said they had not processed my credit card and I would not see any charges from them since they cancelled the order in time. Again, FALSE! The charge did hit my credit card and now I need to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Scam! Scam! Scam! read more

Non-existent customers service, ambivilent sales people full of excuses and incompetent people on the other side of their 1-800 number. It all started when we walked in the door. Our sales person, Maria G., looked us up and down and pretty much decided how much money we had. Mind you we just rolled in from the pool at our vacation home in La Quinta. Told her we were looking for a Cal King bed and were pretty specific about the look. She led us up the escalator, pointed in a direction, said let me know if you have any questions and then proceeded to take selfies in the full length mirror. I guess she liked her floral pants and blazer fit that day. After we didn't find anything, we headed back down the escaltor and I saw a bed that fit our description perfectly. She said, oh that's in our better furniture section or something along those lines. Long story short, we loved it, the tag said "in stock" and we bought it. Then she perked up, worked us hard for a mattress and thank goodness we just went with the bed. I told my husband if all goes well, we'll come back, get the mattress and the rest of the furniture for the room. Now, four weeks later, we've never received an email or communications from them. We've called Maria multiple times with no callback. When we do get a hold of her she's full of excuses, saying she's having trouble with her phone, it's her day off and she'll call us back, she has to ask her manager and he's busy - the list goes on. We try the 800 # and they tell us they're waiting on parts and don't know how long it will take. We understand things take time these days, but for the love of all that's good, someone give us a straight answer! And don't advertisde it's in stock if it's not. Needless to say we're beyond frustrated and I'm so glad we only bought the one thing. They will not be getting any more business from us and I plan to tell everyone I know and leave a review every where I can about my experience. I shopped for several weeks finding just the right furniture for my home and working with Dolores was more like shopping with a friend than a sales person. Boy has this business took a nose dive into shitsville. Back in 2013, we bought the majority of the furniture for our new home here and spent almost 16 grand. Had a pretty pleasant experience and no issues. Recently we purchased a new leather loveseat to replace one we bought back in 2013. We chose the one we wanted and paid for it. Few days later I got a confirmation email showing delivery info but I'd noticed they left the space number off the physical address. We have over 550 homes in our development and if there's no number then they'll never find my home. When I called to advise them, I got nothing but attitude and they even said it was my responsibility to contact the finance company and straighten out the address discrepancy with them. Was a big fiasco all because the girl that prepared my delivery paperwork left off the space numbers and they made it very difficult to fix the problem. Fast forward a few weeks later and the $2700 loveseat started binding and making loud clunking sounds coming from the foot rest. I called to get a repair started and was told a technician would contact me in 5-10 days. Well, it's been 12 days and no call from that pile of crap company. If I were you, I'd take some of these negative reviews to heart and find another company like Jerome's. We spent a lot of money there as well but who knows, maybe they're crappy now too Update to this review: So a few days after the loveseat was delivered, one of the chairs foot rest began having issues. I contacted customer service and was told a tech would be contacting me in 5-10 days. 12 days later I gotta call for someone to come and check out the problem. 2 weeks later a Techinican from Mathis Brothers arrived and took photos and looked at the loveseat. He said "yeah, looks like something was bent in manufacturing and I'll forward this to customer service and they'll get right back with you." Well, that was 3 weeks ago and haven't hear a damn word. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I mean you can get better service at Walmart. My wife went to buy a dining room set and the salesman was sweet that's all after that everything She said went down hill. the salesman talking point came strait out of car salesman school , he want my wife to buy a warranty at all cost, like his life depend on it. (Warranty are great money for the store) . They charge $ 160 for delivery, after that they charge an extra fee in case you buy something else in the next 12 month you will get free delivery ( you already paid) .What a deal !!!!!! they call that a MBF REWARDS !!!! a $99.00 charge, plus they charge taxes on local delivery and that the free delivery deal!! I searched online and found a rug I wanted to purchase. I went to the store with printed information on the rug that was in stock. The salesperson seemed confused about every aspect of the purchase. The rug was tagged as being on sale for a 20% discount, which he had to verify with his manager. Odd. It took longer that I expected to get the rug loaded into my car. When I arrived at home, I found out that they had given me the wrong rug. I called and they said I'd have to go through customer service to return the rug. Their mistake, but I had to go through hoops to get the right rug. The woman in customer service was horrible and uncaring. The salesperson and his manager were off and no one could help. Finally after complaining, they load the correct rug into my car. I had to drive a long distance to return a rug that was their mistake. I will never shop there again. read more

its such a network of criminals that works for this store its frightening! one guy at the main store used my account last year to purchase extra membership behind my back a female employee who I bought a desk from at the clearance center, sold me the dead with the keys inside. she tried to pressure me to get membership and I refused. so she referred someone to me from the outside to pick up the desk and deliver it to me for a fee. I was charged 130.00. then when the desk was delivered the key was missing. so I had to return the desk and had to pay the same person, her friend another $80.00 to return it back to the store. it was nothing but a set up to get money from me because I refused to take out delivery membership. so I paid her friend a total of $210.00 and had nothing to show for it.
