See my other…read morereview about that (dated 5/27/2019) Fast forward to 2025, and unfortunately there was a pipe that burst in the rental and so a large portion of the flooring had to be pulled out. I decided to have the restoration company that did the drying process do all the repairs, painting, and installation in order to keep things simple (rather than me hiring and coordinating multiple companies). Unfortunately the restoration company's subcontractor did not do a very good job on the corners and edges, and that made me worry about whether there could be other bigger issues like with the leveling. I called Pro Flooring to get some information and see if they could give me a bid if we ended up having more problems resolving the issues. Vitaliy was very kind in spending a lot of time with me on the phone discussing my options, looking at some pictures, and arranging an appointment for his installer to take a look. As it turns out, once I was able to drive up to my rental unit and inspect it in person instead of via pictures on the phone, I felt that there was a good chance the issues were only cosmetic on the edges and transitions. I was able to discuss again with Vitaliy, and that helped me feel even more reassured, and in the end we did not need to have his installer take a look because I was feeling confident that those cosmetic issues could be fixed by the restoration company since they would not use the subcontractor this time. I do wish in retrospect that I had hired Pro Flooring to do this job, because I am sure we would not have had these issues. But Vitaliy sure helped me out by being very helpful and gracious with his time as I needed to figure out the best course of action. Thank you Vitaliy!

Kyle is incredibly…read morehelpful and patient, and while they don't have a huge stock like a big corporate owned store might, there is a wide variety of materials and we managed to find two wool carpets that are working very well for us, and we paid very fair prices. We were referred here by another local carpet and flooring store because we were needing some rugs asap and wanted a more affordable option. These are remnants, so you don't always find the exact size you need, but we've been very happy with the quality of the wool carpets we did find. We are using them as area rugs, not installed, so we got a few of them bound and one of them wasn't bound as "perfectly" as we'd have liked, with slight irregularities around the edge in some parts, but Kyle said he would absolutely have them redone to make sure they're perfect and we didn't take him up on the offer due to needing the carpets now and it's not a huge deal for us, but the second carpet we got bound came back perfectly bound. That was our only "issue" but we have still been back since and will continue to trust Kyle and his products. A great local family owned business worthy of our support.

The floors were in really rough shape. Some had been covered with glue. Some had sticky backing from parquet tiles. There were very poor repairs made in the past with wood that didn't match the size of the original. There were thousands of nail and staple holes. We were really skeptical they could be brought back. Scott was an amazing guide through the process and possessed great confidence about what could be done. He was able to schedule the work pretty quickly. The team he sent, Al and Luis, did a fantastic job bringing these floors back to life. And the cost was reasonable for what we got.

Not a criticism of Healdsburg Floor Coverings, but more a learning from this experience. I would highly recommend purchasing an in stock item. At first, I purchased an item that had a delivery date of about a month out. This initially worked based on the progress of my house renovation. However, it kept on getting delayed week by week until it was at least a month delayed. I then switched to a nearly identical offering from the same distributor at the same price and received the flooring within days. I wish I had done this earlier instead of waiting!

These 'pops' do not happen in isolated areas - they are all over every single room in the 1400 sq foot of our upper level. 1 - Rugworks did NOT share recommended manufacturer installation instructions with us. We purchased the wood from them, they delivered it, unpackaged it and did not share 'manufacturer recommended installation instructions'. 2 - They do not appear to be a NWFA installer. The NWFA also recommends glue assist for wide planks of over 5" as shown in this video https://youtu.be/WDsMY_sXfjc The wood that we purchased from Rugworks is well over 5" wide and glue-assist is recommended to prevent the issue that we have in the entire 2nd floor of our home. 3- ZERO post-install customer service, owner would not come to see the issue in person or propose a solution to the problem. 1 - INSTALLATION recommendation - not sharing recommended installation instructions. Rugworks installed an engineered wood floor in July 2020 which should have been glued down in addition to being nailed down due to its width. This was a 'recommendation' of the manufacturer which was NEVER presented as an option by Rugworks. If Rugworks had told us about the 'recommendation' which is also the preferred method recommended by the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) - we would have chosen that installation method. The installation instructions are "For products greater than 5" in width, it is recommended to use a combination glue down assist when using mechanical fasteners" to prevent the wood from moving and causing the problem shown in the video. The wood is 7/16" thick engineered hardwood - SW485 Castlewood Oak - 7.48 inch wide planks - way beyond the 5 inches. Post installation - We noticed that there was a lot of snap/crackle/pop - see video here https://youtu.be/9Zl4Na4wSuA We contacted Rugworks - they assured us that this would subside over 12-18 months. This did not change. We contacted them 12 months later and still have no resolution to this issue. 2 - NWFA certification - Certified installers will share the industry recommended and manufacturer recommended installation instructions. Choose a NWFA installer that reads the install instructions, and will act as a trusted advisor in sharing those with you to ensure that your installation is done to your satisfaction and does not Snap Crackle and Pop with every step. As the seller of the hardwood, and installer - Rugworks should have presented all installation options and did not present the recommended method. 3 - Follow-up customer service and ownership. I contacted their owner Jon Sevenau regarding this issue and invited him to witness the defective installation in person; and he would not come over to see it. He denied that there was any problem with the installation and offered ZERO assistance with any remediation. He mentioned that he was contacting the manufacturer - Shaw Industries - but there was no follow-up on this topic. We had a NWFA inspection and Rugworks had one also - both showed that the flooring issues were because the floor is moving, which it wouldn't be doing if glue assist had been used as recommended by the manufacturer. The resulting cabinets are absolutely gorgeous and very well built. I love the self-closing hinges that automatically close the doors. Stan provided all of the trim around the cabinets which matches them perfectly. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the workmanship provided. I will be ordering more from Stan for my next project!

Here are a only a few of my issues with Cabinets 101: 1) They installed a wrong door hinge on one of my cabinet door. Totally looked wonky. How did it pass QA? Your guess is as good as mine. They gave me new hinges a few weeks later and I received the wrong door hinges. The doors are now straight, but now I have a big gap between doors 2) They installed a top sliding drawer where the sink goes. How does a sink go in the box with a drawer... Don't know. They took it out and installed a false drawer plate. They added a gap and you could see nails from all side because of the gap. 3) They shorted us on cabinet shelves. I asked for more shelves. I talked to the associate at the asked for my specific sized. I told the 19.25 inches wide. They sent me 19.625 inches wide. So, now I have to cut them shorter. They also shorted me on cabinet shelves hangers. They gave me the wrong size, so I have to buy the correct ones. Stay away from this place
