I purchased two mattresses from this place. Let me start by saying that I have checked about 10 other places before buying my mattresses. This was the only place that made me feel comfortable about my choice. They offer 100 day trial period and after 30 days you can change your mattress if you do not like it for a $100 fee. Other places didn't offer exchange, if you don't like it you are stuck with your $1000+ purchase and probably back pain. Levon and Carlos were great help and patient. My delivery was good too. One of my mattresses had a glue on it which left a sticky spot but I didn't have time to make a call about that. We have not used them yet but I will update my review later. I walked into Ortho Mattress having a good idea of the kind of FIRM mattress I wanted. The friendliest woman approached me by the name of Alice. We chatted as if we had known each other for years! The connection was genuine and she kindly walked me thru the different mattresses I was interested in. After spending at least 90 min in the store, contemplating which mattress to get (God bless Alice for being so patient!), I finally decided on an Aireloom extra firm mattress. When we started looking for a new mattress we had a rough start to say the very least. But the second we walked into Ortho Mattress everything went really well! Such lovely people. But beware of the mattress protector. They don't work. Ours didn't work. Cat pee went right through. We had our mattress & protector for 14 days. We put in a claim. The claim was denied because cat pee isn't covered and there wasn't a stain on the mattress. But the pee that went through the mattress protector left an odor. They don't care. It's not covered. So what is covered? People stuff, they said. They said they would send a new mattress protector. I hope they do. But we are still left with a mattress that smells bad and now have to throw out. So $460 gone. Read the warranty. Don't trust the company or what they tell you. The lovely woman at Ortho mattress told me what to write in the claim email to the company who owns the mattress protectors. Then the lovely woman at the company which owns the mattress protector also told me the same thing to say in the email. So I did what I was advised. Told them it was for cat pee and that there is no stain but there is a smell. THEY BOTH TOLD ME THIS KNOWING THE CLAIM WOULD BE DENIED. When I called her back and asked her why she didn't tell me about the cat pee not being covered and she denied me every telling her that. Or that she instructed me on what to say in the email. She said 'its on the warranty card in the packaging.' I wont say her name. Lies all round. Just the usual corporate bs. But the whole experience has been very, very disappointing. And you might just need more than one protector. I know parents of young children who put 3 protectors on their bed. Pet stains are not covered. Read the fine print cause the lovely guys at Ortho wont tell you the truth. The End. read more

My husband and I were back on the market for a new mattress to replace our old one (also from Ortho, just from a different location). I wasn't really looking forward to going through the whole process of searching for the perfect mattress again because 1) I recall going to SO many stores 8 years ago when we were on the market for a new bed which was an exhausting process and 2) I was dreading dealing with pushy sales people because I'm someone who likes to take the time to think through all the pros and cons before making a commitment, so if anything, pushy tactics usually deter me from making any kind of purchase. We already had a fantastic experience with our old bed from Ortho (it was simply time to part ways because of use and wear over time) so we knew an Ortho would be one of the stops we'd be making as we shopped. Well, this was our second stop and that was it (whereas 8 years ago, we went to minimum 7 different mattress/furniture stores). We were greeted by Carlos and despite my weariness about pushy sales people, Carlos was everything but. He was personable and well informed on all of the products. Any time we sat on a bed, he would immediately share his knowledge on the foundations of and materials used within the mattress. I really appreciated that his approach was more about informing the customer so that they can make the best informed decision for themself, rather than pushing a purchase or upselling products that may not be the right one. He was transparent and really just a pleasant person to work with. Despite several confusing moments and going back-and-forth on what we wanted and didn't want, we ended up purchasing the same bed we got 8 years ago, just the upgraded version and we could not be happier. If I'm ever back on the market to purchase a mattress again, I hope to work with Carlos again! read more

Wow, I'm shocked that this store has 5 stars. I decided to write this review as I lie on my concrete Ortho mattress. I bought this mattress 18 months ago and it feels like I'm sleeping on the floor. I was assured it would relieve pressure points, but instead my shoulders are crushed by the unforgiving foam and my body. I was also told that it would keep me cool as I sleep, wrong. It's a shame that the salesperson upsold this horrible mattress. I suppose they get a commission on Selling Ortho mattresses, which was not cheap. Please promise me that you won't buy an Ortho mattress. And if you go into this store, stay strong and buy the mattress you want, not the one the salesperson assured was one that would contour to your body and keep you cool. So sad! read more

I initially had gone here because I had liked the tempurpedic bed they had for half off, but by the time I got my refund...someone else had already bought it. Womp. So I decided to look around, but to their other showroom next door (this place had 3 showrooms). This is where I was approached by a nice sales rep, Terry. Asked me what I was looking for and told them about the situation next door. Sadly, he told me that model was discontinued, but showed me one that was very similar. Contour elite was what I had settled with. It had the right amount of firmness, and it felt just as good, maybe even better, than the model I had originally wanted to purchase. Now this bed was 3k, and he could see the hesitation in my eyes. He wanted to seal the deal and he did so by letting me know that I can finance the bed. I like the way he thinks! Thought this was the best thing I could do, I can get the bed that I've always wanted AND built up my horrible credit. To top it off, he threw in a tempurpedic pillow and bed protector for free! Who doesn't love free goodies! I had told him about my horrible sears experience and he told me that the bed won't be delivered in about a week. I asked him..."are you sure you'll be on time? Because if not I am going to call you and we will have a serious talk!" "I promise it will be on time. If not, I'll be leaving town." Is what he said. He is a man of his word. One week later I am here, writing this review, happy that I finally have my new bed. 5 stars for sure!!!! read more

Apparently my old college mattress had to go when my gf and I moved in together. The issue was, I prefer a firmer mattress while she prefers one that "feels like sleeping on clouds." We had joked about getting a sleep number but I'm not filthy rich and they don't come in a 25/75% split (like the portion I get of our bed) lol. The worst costumer experience ever! The call center doesn't work at all. We bought a self brand mattress and in only one month start to have sunk areas. That was back in November and until now we don't have any answer. We miss our old mattress because was in a better shape that this one (and also spend 550$) I don't recommend this store at all!!! read more

So we got our little one a new bunk bed (we are preparing for the future), and needed a mattress for her cause she was sooo excited (her reaction was beyond adorable). So we started our mattress shopping venture in Montrose and made our way to Glendale. The store in Montrose was nice, but the lady wouldn't budge on pricing. If she did, we would have stopped there and just gotten our mattress from them. So we moved on to Glendale. We went to another Mattress store down the street from Ortho and got a earful from a guy who looked like he would work at a old used car lot (no offense if that fits you're desciption, lol) about how my budget would get me a piece of crap mattress and how I should spend $4-500 on a twin mattress or I'm going to end up with a cheap recycled material mattress. Then we drove over to Ortho who had a very nice respectful salesman that showed us what he had to offer and we found something within out budget that the salesman was willing to negotiate pricing on and give us what we were looking for. He also went over every detail about how its a final sale, etc. He was very professional, very informative, and very helpful. I'll be back to get the second twin for the bunk bed from here and God willing things go well, get a new mattress for my wife and I as well. I would recommend anyone coming to Ortho for their mattress. They have great quality mattresses, they have helpful staff and great pricing.
