We continued to put our weekends on hold for the mattress, but it continued to not show up. By the time they did place our order, it was after Black Friday so then it was delayed after all the people who got great deals got their mattresses. We did not get any deal, but had to wait from September until late December to get our mattress delivered. With the mattress, I ordered a purple pillow. Purple has a great return policy. I didn't realize that American Mattress would not accept returns of the pillow. We received no discount from them for the excessive delays, and I was not allowed to return the $200 pillow. I was not told at time of purchase that I would not able to return or I would have just bought it direct from Purple. Save yourself a massive headache and order direct from any of the mattress companies like Avocado, which deliver directly, which allows for the mattress to come on time and accept returns.

He quoted all the items and showed us an estimate of the total. Added all the financing options which made it very hard not make the final purchase. There was only one item we could not find, a standup desk. We decided to check out one more place before making the final decision. Unfortunately, we found all the items we needed at that last location we visited. A stand up desk was a non-negotiable for us, which Bob's did not offer. The business is clean, restrooms are well kept. They offer refreshments and snacks. I thought that was very nice. The water was very appreciated after walking back and forth. The sales guy was nice and not to pushy unlike the many other stores I had been to that day. I love to sleep so I needed to make sure I really liked the bed I got. There was one that was comfortable but I like my beds more cushy. The guy says: no problem, I'll just have them put another layer of [whatever it is they stuff it with] in there for you to make it softer on top. The best part? They didn't charge for this! They also delivered it really quickly and exactly when they said they would. Six years later I still love my bed (and still spend way too much time in it) and the only thing I'd replace it with would be a really high end foam thing that are all the rage now. I've had mixed experiences mattress shopping at stores, often times being annoyed at trying to be upsold at every opportunity or having to work around the sales people. As well, shopping solely online isn't viable because we need to test to mattresses to ensure they suit our special needs (my partner and I are both uncommonly shaped). In this recent instance, we needed to test mattresses as well as compare different adjustable bases. Hassleless Mattress was our first stop. The showroom is vary spacious, featuring numerous brands and styles of mattress in different configurations with adjustable bases. Go up to the table, sanitize your hands, grab a disposable pillow cover, and start laying down. My partner and I were able to try everything out at our leisure, and spend enough time testing different combinations to see what suited our needs best. We easily narrowed down the type (hybrid innerspring with memory foam), size, and brand. After that, we compared the different adjustable bases, and found one we liked. There was a seasonal special that saved us $200, and the free next-day delivery (and removal) meant we got what we wanted for less than we originally budgeted. Because we got to try them out, it also saved us the hassle of testing and shipping back different mattresses from internet-only vendors. We were very happy with our shopping experience, and spent less than we anticipated. The delivery crew arrived early the next morning, quickly removed the old bed (topper, mattress, box spring, and frame), and had the new adjustable base & mattress set up in minutes. They were very quick and courteous, making sure to be careful while moving everything. I'm glad we checked this location out, as I was not looking forward to shopping the usual mattress stores. The Hassleless Mattress sales model works out well for us, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone else who might like the low-pressure no salesperson option for mattress shopping.
