We have an older Casper mattress and wanted to upgrade. We did some research online and came into this location, the Price Club Plaza in Fairfax, to look at them. Dawood was there and took very good care of us, respecting our choices, but also showing us two or three comparable mattresses that would also work for our needs. We chose one, but were not ready to make the purchase at that time. When we came back to make the purchase, he made the process very easy, and was again very helpful. We took delivery of it this morning and it went seamlessly. Very competent delivery, and the guys didn't even have a hard time getting the old mattress down the stairs and around a tight corner. Purchased the 2nd most expensive (Aireloom) mattress in the store. Took delivery of the mattress and within months, the mattress had a sink hole so drastic in size that two people couldn't sleep in the bed without rolling onto each other. I discovered the mattress tag had a bright red "FLOOR SAMPLE" stamp on it. I called the store and requested to speak to the manager and on multiple occasions was told they were unavailable. I called Aireloom in California and they indicated that such mattresses cannot be sold as new and have no warranty- that I am due for a refund or replacement. So, I packed the mattress up and headed back to Mattress Warehouse. Store manager Steve Watkins was shockingly rude. He mocked the situation with his fellow employee and laid blame on me for not having noticed the tag at the time of delivery. Apparently checking for fraud is part of the standard high end mattress buying process? Steve's inappropriate behavior continued until which point I'd pulled out my iPhone camera to start recording. He immediately cleaned up his act- formally deflected the problem and said that he was unable to assist, that I would need to escalate it to Regional management. I left with the same mattress and a business card for the main Mattress Warehouse HQ phone number. I proceeded to call the office in Frederick MD for weeks, without response. I left messages with John Holder's admin staff who provided an array of excuses, such as "He has been out sick", "He's just returned from vacation", "I'm sure he will contact you soon", "He's aware of your issue, promised us that he would call XX day. You haven't heard from him?". No callbacks ensued for nearly a month. Fed up, I posted to one of their social media pages with an accompanying photo. Turns out John was indeed a real person after all and happened to give me a call within the hour! All it took was a quick google search to see that Mattress Warehouse is rife with complaints with the Better Business Bureau and this store in particular with Fairfax County. Unfortunately, I had an absolutely terrible experience with another mattress 'firm'! After that experience, and what I learned about mattress sales in general, had I had any other option, I would never have gone mattress shopping again, EVER! I used to think car sales was the worst ... not any more. Fortunately, I walked into the Mattress Warehouse at the Fairfax Costco location! Patrick greeted me and listened to my predicament. He helped me select a mattress and then worked with Yassin to get me the best price possible under the circumstances. Patrick spent the better part of an afternoon making sure my needs would be met within my budget, all my questions were answered, I knew what to expect next, and that my new mattress would be delivered as soon as possible. They made it happen and it all went just as they said it would. Yassin, has since handled all my follow-up questions with extraordinary customer service, LISTENING and responding with thorough knowledge of his products and sensitivity to my concerns and ultimate goals. I can't tell folks what a great experience I had at this store! Alex was just phenomenal and I would give him 100 points out of 100. In other words if this were a grade in school, he'd get an A+ perfect score. Not only was Alex the perfect professional, Yassin (Manager) was also outstanding at the final check-out phase. I've had a bad back for many years and have been doing my homework for a long time in figuring out if my current bed was making my back worse or not. Alex PATIENTLY answered about 140 of my questions.....I kid you not I had that many.....and he never showed impatience or lack of enthusiasm in helping me. I haven't seen such a phenomenal sales person in probably over 20 years. More importantly he indeed helped me through testing many beds and answering questions and despite my initial nervousness about knowing WHICH bed to buy, when I finally made the choice, I was completely sure it was the right decision. Today I got the bed, and I know it was the perfect choice. I feel like Alex offered more than just product help but I felt like he was almost a medical professional helping me assess how well each bed enhanced my back alignment and removed the pain caused by my current bed. Again, can't say enough about Alex and Yassin and the quality of this store. I also was very impressed with the delivery team who brought my bed today. I believe one was Victor and I don't know the other person's name but if their bosses see this review, please pass my thanks to their bosses for a perfect job by the two delivery folks. read more

If you're into being hung up on by dishonest employees, this is the perfect spot for you. If you like predatory business practices, look no further than this mattress warehouse. My mom suffers from severe osteoperothic pain, so she came to the Fairfax Costco location to find a new bed for her aching back. Medina, a sales rep, intentionally lied to her about the firmness of the bed she was buying - TWICE. Both beds (the original purchase AND the exchange) caused her immense pain. And all she wanted is a refund, but Medina told her that if she wanted an extra firm bed, she could "buy a different one for $5,000" and hung up on her. John Gibson (apparently a customer service manager) also hung up the phone when she called again asking for a simple refund. Guess what? We can't afford another bed. The staff at this mattress warehouse KNEW the bed wasn't as firm as they assured us. An inspector even verified we were NOT sold an extra firm mattress. Now, for 6 months my mom's been stuck, suffering nightly, with a mattress she never asked for. Dealing with this place has been unadulterated agony - avoid it at all costs. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars! My husband and I have been trying to get the right size mattress for three weeks now. The corporate office, District Manager (DM) and store managers are worthless. They have lied on us claiming we changed our bed frame, therefore the mattress doesn't fit the new frame. Our bed frame is more than 16 years old and holds a 60x80 Queen size mattress, and a standard Queen size mattress frame fits. We also sent the store pictures of the 2 inch gap between the bed and the frame. Then the store claimed they have pictures of the delivery and our bed frame was different. As if we would purchase an entire new bed frame just to get them to exchange a mattress. After that we asked to see the pictures and to date....they refuse to send the pictures. It was a lie and bad business practice just to hope we would go away. We brought a full size and queen size mattress IN FULL; however the Queen size mattress is 60x78....too short. After weeks of back and forward they sent us another mattress. Again, it was a 60x78 not a 60x80....false advertisement! You can goggle a standard queen size mattress and it is 60x80! Give us what we paid for. This company's corporate office will take your information and you will never receive a call back. I asked the DM, if the totally disregard and lies you all told were because we were Black customers? He became defensive and rude. Then I asked for the Regional manager's information, and he told me "the buck stops with him. No one else will help you". I continued to ask and he gave me a worthless number to a medical facility in Maryland. Wow! Please be very careful before purchasing anything from this company. We had a poor experience with our first mattress purchase (no notification that our mattress was back ordered, so we sat at home on the scheduled date waiting around for delivery which, of course, didn't come!). We pointed out this lack of communication from the delivery department and inconvenience to our salesperson Mr. Yassin Khoshhal. He literally took ownership of our experience with Mattress Warehouse at that point by 1st apologizing to us! What a gentleman! It's rare to see that kind of acknowledgement these days. Second, Yassin made some calls to his delivery department and rescheduled our delivery on a Saturday (after the mattress was expected to be back in stock) so that we wouldn't have to take a day off from work to accept delivery. Third, Yassin followed up with the delivery department the day before our rescheduled delivery date to make sure we received a call, and e mail confirming delivery. He was all over this order and made sure our delivery went smoothly. Our impression of this company and store is great! Give them a shot, and ask for Yassin Khosshal. He is a gem! We bought a king size mattress and adjustable base on Sep 1st the sales guy told us it would be delivered on the 8th then the night before he calls and say they are out of the adjustable base and will bring just the mattress I told him I don't have a bed frame if he could get any other adjustable base he says he can't and send me a box spring and a metal frame and tells me the adjustable base will come on the 17th. today i get a call and they tell me I won't get my base until the 21st! Wtf!!? I was counting on having the stupid base on the 8th because I had a major surgery on the 10th and it would have been really nice if I had a comfortable bed with adjustable base to rest on and what makes me even more mad is that they are not even apologetic about it! If they had told me it wasn't guaranteed that the bed and base would come when they said it would I would've bought it somewhere else for sure! read more

Worst customer service ever, there customer service is good in their locations until they get your money once you paid and you receive the item. there will be no help at all.. and once you signed the papers no return no help nothing at all and I'll post some pictures you guys look at these photos and tell me about there set up. a donkey can set up a bed better then this, if anyone trying to buy Mattress from these people think 1000 time first then buy it not recommended at all. Let me start with the store location next to Costco Fair Oaks(12300 Price Club Plaza Dr, Fairfax, VA 22030) and manager's name, Andy. A person that has no sense of respect for anyone! We went to Costco and saw this new location of Mattress Warehouse so went into the store since we happened to be shopping for a new mattress so it was good timing for us. When we went there, we looked at 3 mattresses and got quotes for them (verbally because he refused to give them in writing) and we told him we will come back tomorrow and buy one of the mattresses. The next day we called him and he requested us to come to the store to get a "heck of a deal" so we drove 8 miles to get the mattress for the price he quoted to us the day before and he instantly switched the price to 80% more of what he quoted us yesterday!! So out of anger, we walked out of the store without buying the mattress, stopped by at a different store, looked for a similar mattress at that store and actually ended up getting "one heck of a deal"!! I will never recommend anyone going to another mattress warehouse and especially this store!! This guy reminded me of a car salesmen, applying the same Bait and Switch technique!! Unfortunately for them, we are a newer generation and we know exactly how to deal with such people! And especially in today's time, you can pretty much name your price!! Be-Aware out there people!!
