I didn't exactly jump out of bed screaming, "I'm so excited to go mattress shopping!" ,but having the right sales consultant like Autume truly made the entire experience enjoyable. We've been shopping around for a new mattress and wanted something softer. After visiting a few national chain mattress stores and not finding anything we loved, I came across SleePare online, they carry many of the popular online mattress brands, but you can actually try them in person before ordering. We set up an appointment online, walked in, and let Autume know what we were looking for. She recommended a few models based on our preferences and then gave us plenty of space to test them out. We never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. Autume was knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. I especially appreciated how well she explained the differences between brands, models, and styles. The mattress we chose is made in the USA, which is a bonus. Orders typically take about 2-3 weeks, and we can't wait for it to arrive! They offer both white-glove delivery service and free FedEx shipping options. Good place in the area to try out/buy a mattress! Sleepare has a ton of mattresses to choose from, they don't pressure you with sales tactics, and you can spend as long in the store as you'd like to make sure that the bed you choose is "the one". I like that they provide head and foot coverings to make the experience more sanitary, have lower lighting to simulate more of a bedroom environment, and have a variety of pillows to test out the beds with. Mattress shopping is hardly fun, but Sleepare made it a much less stressful shopping experience. read more

I had a great experience working with Tanner at Sleepare! I can't imagine why anyone would buy a bed-in-a-box without going to Sleepare to compare the many different brands. Tanner is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I am 6' 4" with lower back issues. Tanner knew exactly which mattresses were best for me. He showed me each one and was patient as I went from on to another and back again until I had narrowed it down to three. I didn't ask prices because I wanted to choose based structly upon comfort and support. I finally decided I preferred the Bear Elite Hybrid. It turns out that was the least expensive of my three finalists, but Tanner had never tried to guide me toward tge others. He is the type of person you want to do business with. Some very high quality brands in this mattress store. The store is located in a strange spot with a small parking lot area. Easy to miss, so be careful with turns. It's located on a higher level and the store is hard to catch with its small sign. The surrounding atmosphere made me skeptical when I walked in, but the store interior really was nice and large. Plenty of beds to try out, but most are queen sized. I was in the market for a nice bed and finally wanted to test some mattresses after weeks of research. Didn't know what to expect going in person to buy a mattress, but Tanner helped me throughout the process and gave solid advice that led me to a final decision. I am really starting to lose my patience with this company. I feel like I'm getting the runaround at every step. I went into SleePare last Saturday specifically to try the WinkBed Luxury Firm. Aidan, the salesman, told me they didn't have it in stock because he'd sold the floor model, but would be getting another in about 10 days. Instead, he pushed me toward the Helix Midnight, telling me it was "better" and "far superior in every way" (not verbatim, but close). They did have the WinkBed Blue Series in the store, so I tried both the soft and the firm. I liked the soft much more than the Helix, but at over $3,000 it was way out of my budget. Since they didn't have the WinkBed Luxury Firm (the one I actually came in for) and Aidan said it would be about 10 days before they got it, I decided to go with the Helix instead -- at his urging. Yes, he works on commission -- I asked. The next morning, I called to cancel or at least put my order on hold because I found another store downtown that had the WinkBed Luxury Firm in stock. I went there, tried it, and liked it much more than the Helix -- and it was almost $1,000 cheaper. When I called SleePare to cancel, Aidan suddenly told me the WinkBed had "just come in" the day before and insisted I come try it. I even started driving there but halfway decided I was done. I'd already tried the WinkBed elsewhere, I didn't appreciate being pressured, and I didn't want to buy from him or SleePare anymore. I told him to just cancel. From there, I dealt with Bruce in customer service. He said the order was canceled but explained they don't process refunds to Affirm directly -- instead, they require customers to read their credit card information over the phone (including CVV and expiration) so they can send the money to the customer, who then has to pay Affirm themselves. I found that odd and unnecessary -- other companies just process the refund. Bruce told me I'd get my money within 24-72 hours, usually 48. I waited the full 72 -- nothing. When I called, I was told Bruce was off and would call me the next day. He didn't -- I had to call him. He claimed he'd speak to accounting and call me later that day. He didn't. Again, I called him back, and now I'm being told that if accounting can't set it up today or tomorrow (which would still take 2+ days to receive), they'll mail me a check -- which would take another 5-7 business days. At one point, a customer service rep even told me to call my bank to check for pending deposits -- I did, and of course, nothing was there. It has now been over 96 hours since I was promised my refund, and 5 days since I started trying to cancel. I can't speak to how their beds perform long-term, but their customer service is pushy, disorganized, and frustrating. I will never do business here again. read more

Awful experience start to finish. I liked the concept that this was a place you could try a lot of the mattresses available online. I made an appointment for 4pm on a Sat. I was greeted by a gentleman who waved his hand at several mattresses and told me to go try them. I had to wait to try several of them because other ppl were on them. Then a woman came up to me and said that the gentleman was leaving (he was there at the end of my appointment) and she would be my new person. She was also waiting on 2 others couples so I didn't get much attention. The mattress I liked best was $3000 and it very similar to another I had seen for $2000. After I got home, I got a nice email addressed to Jennifer. That's great but my name's not Jennifer. For the high prices, I would expect stellar customer service. Very disappointing. I don't hear anything and after contacting customer support they say it's ready for shipment the next, but then nothing. Then I ask for a follow up and they say they should have a tracking number in the next two days. Do not buy here if you are on a time crunch. The mattress will not come quickly. The 1-star review on this business is incredibly unfair. I had a great experience here when I came in for my appointment to test out mattresses. Dustin was patient, knowledgeable, helpful, and ultimately helped me figure out which mattress was going to be the best one for me. His pricing is better than the manufacturer pricing online (with coupon codes) and he is there to assist with any issues or concerns if you want to return or exchange a mattress during the (manufacturer) trial period. I'm very excited to try out my new mattress when it arrives! If you're looking into getting a bed-in-a-box mattress but have hesitations with pulling the trigger on a $1k purchase sight unseen... go to Sleepare. We need more of these stores! read more

We were mattress shopping today and went to 4 stores. This was our first visit. I walked out saying no way would I purchase a mattress from here. First impression; this is on the backside of a string of buildings on Spring Hill Road. The entire locations seems a little run down. As we entered, the room was dark (with many mattresses on display) and the disco music was blaring with 2 men sitting in a makeshift table in the middle of the room eating lunch. I was greeted with a "What's up and Afternoon". All that was missing was the strobe lights. The mattress we were interested in was advertised on their website, but they did not sell it. One of the men was knowledgeable and could answer our questions. But for the most part, I think they really did not care if they made a sale or not. It showed. For a busy holiday weekend, (President's Day), there was no other customers in the warehouse. Sleepare had a $200 fee to set up, deliver, and dispose of the older mattress. Very high compared to the other locations we visited. I really got the impression that they just wanted us to go home and order the mattress on line. We went to 3 other locations; Firm Mattress, Urban Mattress and Macy's. All three locations were incredibly busy, staff was very attentive, helpful and wanted to make a sale. I would highly recommend the last three locations, all were great. My advice to Sleepare - have a manager stop by unannounced to see the quality of the store is, or pretend you are a customer. read more

There is something shady about this place. We ordered a mattress and purchased a mattress protector and a pillow in early January. We had the mattress, foundation and mattress protector and foundation shipped to the "logistics coordinator" so they could deliver the bed and take away our old one. All items were delivered to the logistics company on 01/31 and we waited a week with no contact from the logistics company. We exchanged multiple calls and emails to get delivery date. Sleepare told me multiple times that they tried to call but there were no missed calls and no voicemails. After hours of effort we finally got our mattress but the protector is missing. Again I email and I call. A week passes and they tell me that the comments on the order show I took the pillow and mattress protector with me at the store. I tell them no, just the pillow. More time passes, I email again and they ask when they can call me. I tell them I am fully booked and resolving this doesn't require a phone call; I just want a refund at this point. Tonight I get a call from Robert Black, who is supposedly the head of customer service, who hems and haws and says something about needing to look at the video from the store. I told him he's already had a week to do that and I just want a refund. Finally they agree ... At a minimum, this company is incredibly disorganized. They refuse to communicate via email and insist on phone communication. They are loathe to give refunds and it took way too much time and effort for me to get multiple issues resolved. At worst they are scammers and thieves. It's fine to go see the mattresses in their store but buy elsewhere. read more

4 months after ordering the mattress that arrived damaged (it was wet inside, looks like some internal gel leaked during transport), I still haven't been able to get a refund from Sleepare. I constantly get the runaround from "Robert Black", which seems like an alias since he has no memory of previous conversations every time we talk. He has agreed to give me a refund multiple times on the phone including taking my credit card information only to ignore me for weeks or ask for more documentation via email. They want me to jump through so many hoops (find somewhere to donate the mattress or transport it at my own cost) to get a refund, which is frankly ridiculous and fraudulent considering I got a defective product through no fault of my own. Spending $1000 for a sloped, soaking wet mattress that I can't return is a total ripoff. Don't buy anything from this store - go to a reputable mattress store where you can see the product ahead of time and speak to competent customer service agents read more

This place allows you to test mattresses, like Winkbed, that are usually sold only on line. However, I would strongly advise NOT EVER buying a mattress from Sleepare. The supposedly new mattress I received had been (inexpertly) repackaged and I would guess returned by a previous customer. The mattress turned out to be clearly defective and Sleepare has refused for weeks to process a refund -- at first asking me to wait, then stringing me along with multiple requests for photos and other documentation and finally asking me to pay a fee to return a defective mattress. Inquiries are directed to a fictitious "Robert Black" that is clearly an overseas call/email center. So, go to the store and try out things if you like -- but DON'T EVER buy. read more

Bobby was very helpful and knowledgable, not high pressure, and spent a lot of time helping us find the best fit. The mattress we wound up ordering showed up fast, was as represented, and everything went smooth. The comments about the location in a light industrial area are unwarranted; the idea is that you get a place to try out a lot of options you couldn't try otherwise. They have a huge selection of mattresses on site and you can take your time trying them out. I went back three or four times to get exactly what I wanted (Wink bed). Overall, had a great experience with Sleepare through the entire process. It was really nice getting to try many of these online mattresses in person. The showroom itself was spartan but clean and well laid out. The salesperson was really helpful, providing recommendations and regularly checking in, but at the same time, he never pressured us to order. The mattress to about two and a half weeks to arrive, within the two to four week window that the salesperson warned us up front about. We opted for white glove delivery, and the mattress was delivered professionally without hitch. My only suggestion would be to give more than two days notice of pending delivery. We had to work with customer service twice: once to modify an order (we changed our minds on something) and once to address some manufacturing defects with the sheet set we recieved (SleePare's Serenity Bundle). Thankfully, online customer service helped resolve both with no fuss. They answered our emails usually within 24 hours, most sooner. Overall, really enjoyed our experience with Sleepare.
