Love, love, love me some Matt's Pizza. When I moved from Senoia to Sharpsburg two years ago, I was sad because I thought that I would no longer be in their delivery area. Turns out that we are still close enough for them to deliver. As far as the pizza itself, the dough is amazing, and the ingredients always seem fresh. They have great traditional pizzas and lots of yummy specialty pizzas. This is definitely at the top of my list for places to eat in Senoia and to use for delivery on busy weeknights. read more

Recently moved to Brooks GA and heard Matt's delivered to our area. Senoia to Brooks is 10-15 depending on traffic so let me start by saying that I am the one who was too lazy to go pick up my pizza and I am grateful they deliver to my house ( especially since I live waaaayyy back off the road ) and I took into account the drive time. I called at 5:20 pm and was immediately put on hold. I waited on hold for about 3 minutes and just as I was going to hang up the phone they picked back up to take my order. I placed my order and she said took my address. Then she said ok we will be there in about an hour. After she told me the total cost then she changed and said 1 hour and 20 minutes. Ok. It's dinner time and it's a longer than usual drive. I get it .... at 1 hr 20 minutes I got in the ATV and drove to the street to wait for them in case they got lost. That's when I started typing this review. It's now been 90 minutes and no pizza and no phone call. Tick tock tick tock... oh where ohwhere is my pizza pie oh where oh where could it be. Ok 1 hour 40 minutes and the pizza is here. Driver was nice and my medium regular crust pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni was .... average. Not bad at all not great either. It was room temp. I still tipped the drive well because she was nice and it's not really on her. The crust was good. Not enough sauce. Plenty of cheese and pepperoni. I have been in Matt's before and was more satisfied with my order as a walk in customer then delivery. There is one other place that delivers here and they usually take 35-40 minutes so I think I will rely on them for delivery and go to Matt's for sit down. read more

Definitely Goofy Movie pizza (nice and cheesy). My favorite slice of pizza ever is the Margherita thin crust with mushrooms here. I never thought my favorite pizza place would be in Senoia GA of all places. The town is beautiful. Matt's is a great place to relax, eat, and then take a quick walk down Main Street. Great pizza we order quite a bit and delivery is typically quick and we get our food hot. I only am taking points off for their sides; the wings are very very small hardly any meat on them and they are very greasy, their garlic bread is usually soggy. I will say they have good chicken tenders but the wings and other side items I have tried need some looking at and revamping. read more

Plan on some extra time for them to prepare your food fresh and you won't be disappointed. We enjoyed our pizzas, appetizers, and the salads that we ordered off of our menus. The fried pickles were ok. The cheesy garlic bread was really good. We ended up getting the 24" pizza due to the size of our party. It was ok. It was extremely greasy on the pepperoni side. It had a decent flavor but some pieces you had to eat with fork because it was so soggy from grease. I would go back I would just get the smaller pizzas and get 2. Sign said wait to be seated.. Waited long time no one acknowledged me.. Finally a stone faced older woman w blonde hair sat us down like we were imposing. She was our waitress too.. Son ordered soda w no ice,, guess what ice in soda when he got it..I ordered a beer.. When giving orders waitress didn't write it down was rude and just repeated back our orders rudely no smiling..When asked for a refill (mind you was not offered) we said no ice to which same lady who sat is said "more ice?" Which for one shows she didn't listen first time and no was really not listening.. So we hs to say again for third time no ice in soda. Food came was ok.. After we finished was not asked if I want another beer. Was given check and card back and told "there you go" .. Ordered a margarita pizza about an hour ago. Walked in and ordered it to go. It took a while for it to be ready, but there was a sign said that everything was made to order so it was to be expected. As I sat there I thought, "I hope this pizza is good, otherwise my husband is going to get annoyed and complain!" Well good news! We devoured the pizza in record time. Moved to Georgia at the end of August 2017. I was so in fear of never having a NY pizza again. I had tasted a few and none came close until Matt's Smalltown Pizza. Thank you!!!! The only thing that I can say that I wasn't thrilled about is the time it took to make a slice?! I believe I had waited at least 1/2 hour for it. Does that mean they made it from scratch? Walked in 2 hours before closing and still got eye rolls and huff and puffs from the employees. Salad bar was completely empty and our server was not attentive and we actually waited over 10 minutes for her to even show up to the table and it wasn't busy. Definitely will not be returning. We have lived in Senoia for 12 years and Matt's Smalltown pizza has declined terribly over the last year. I was delivered an uncooked pizza crust and can't believe someone would let a pizza leave like that. Someone needs to get in there and mange the place better and check the quality of the food before it is delivered and it is not hot by the time you get it! Ordered food at 6pm and didn't get it till 7:50 called to check on it and was put on hold rudely then told that to call back if it wasn't here in 25 minutes so finally it arrives and it's cold and soggy. So not worth the $50 I spent on cold soggy late food from rude people. read more

We originally went to Senoia to go to Southern Grounds but found that the location had closed. Being that we were starving we decided to go to Matt's instead of driving elsewhere. Upon entering we saw four employees standing in the back just talking amongst one another. There didn't seem to be a dress code for the staff. The host was nice and promptly seated us in the side room. We weren't in the mood for pizza so I ordered the chicken fingers in teriyaki sauce and my girlfriend had the Italian sandwich. The chicken fingers and fries were consistent with frozen products. Our waitress had her phone go off twice while at our table. She even said who she thought it may have been and had the audacity to look at it while waiting on us. The staff is friendly and the food is great. This is clearly a family friendly restaurant. Whenever I go in, I see generations of families sitting together and enjoying their dinner. You can order pizza by the slice or by the pie. The pizza is very good; the crust is thin, but not too much so. We also like the greek salad and the cheesy bread as sides.
