Fresh, delicious, heavenly. Recently visited while staying at nearby resort. They (as well as other vendors) rotate locations up and down the beach walk daily. I was able to catch them multiple days. Tried the açaí bowl, pineapple combo bowl, lawa flow smoothie. Opted to get no papaya on my items as that's not my jam. All the fruit was cut fresh. I enjoyed the bases were sorbets so they held up nicely walking up and down the boardwalk. The line can get long but moves quickly. Luckily each time I've visited there has only been a few people ahead of me. Can't beat a freshly made açaí bowl by the ocean with friendly staff! Highly recommend if you're nearby visiting!
This was our first stop after landing in Maui. We were super excited to try the açaí bowls and they were so sweet and welcoming. Definitely check their instagram for locations as Google Maps/Yelp may take you to the wrong spot for where they're located that day. We had to walk around 1/2 a mile to get to where they actually were. The bowls are packed with fruit and are great. They do have (what tasted like) an açaí blend at the base rather than a sorbet, which is good but I do think I personally prefer the sorbet style, but my husband loved his.
Maui fruit ninja did not disappoint! We had been looking for their stand off of the beach board walk near Kaanapali beach. When we saw they weren't there we checked their Instagram for an update and learned that they were at the farmers market on that day! We almost didn't go... but thought let's make the drive out there! So glad we did. As soon as we found the booth we were greeted by the sweetest staff! They made recommendation and helped us navigate the menu. The "bowl" carved into the pineapple made the whole experience very aesthetically pleasing. The bowl was topped with so much fruit that it was nearly spilling over the pineapple. We topped it with some almond butter to add some creaminess to it all and we're glad we did. For the size , I did think it was a little over priced but I understand Hawai'i is a bit more expensive.
Maui fruit ninja does not need to pay for any advertisement, their product sells themselves. I was walking along the walking path in Kaanapali by all the resorts. I started noticing people walking past me with these beautiful bowls of fruit. They look so colorful, fresh and bright. I had to get me one. Once I walked a bit and I found their stand and I got in line. They offer a a few items on their menu and I opted for the papa bowl. It's half of a papaya hollowed out with a scoop of Açaí and various sliced fruits piled around. You get to pick two toppings I went with granola and coconut flakes. Everything tasted so great and fresh. The knife cuts on the fruit is something to admire. It was so good that I got another papaya bowl two days later. They seem to be open four days a week and on their website they have listed what hotel they are nearby. I suggest getting it earlier rather than later in the morning because the line does get long as it gets to mid morning. Will definitely have to get a fruit bowl (or two) every time I visit Maui. Overall 4.8/5!
The fruit bowls here are amazing. This is a food stand currently at the Nāpili Farmers Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Please check their IG, we originally drove to the beach and walked around until I looked on their IG page. We ordered their pineapple bowl, which is an array of fruits and a scoop of mango sorbet and açaí in a pineapple. This was enough for two people!
Got the fruits in a pineapple and it was amazingly refreshing! Wait was about 15 minutes but totally worth it. Just follow them on social media to see where they'll be. Amazing service and highly recommend!
...what an experience it was to have Maui Fruit Ninja while visiting in Hawaii! Maui Fruit Ninja was tucked away near a resort that seemed to host a variety of vendors, which made it a bit difficult to find at first. Once located everything seemed to move fairly fast. Despite the long line, we had plenty of time to browse their menu as there were various options to choose from making it impossible to arrow it down. I truly appreciated the ability to customize the bowls to our likings! Here's what we ordered and how we rated each item: Best Seller Açaí Bowl 4/5: This açaí bowl consisted of a strawberry base with their mixed seasonal fruit! Everything from the base of the bowl to the fruit toppings was extremely fresh! The only thing I would change would be for the fruit to be a bit more sweeter as we had an Açaí bowl the day before and enjoyed the sweetness from the fruit a bit more. The fruit was fresh, but some of the fruits lacked sweetness. Dragon Mango Twist 4/4: This seasonal drink was enjoyable, but the dragon fruit flavor was barely noticeable. It tasted primarily like a mango drink, and we felt it would have been better with a lighter touch of mango and a stronger presence of dragon fruit for more balance and flavor. All in all, we would definitely go back as the freshness of the fruit really made the bowl and the drink what it was!
It is all that people say and more. Yum! Super fresh and really good. We went to the pop-up market to get this. The line was insane. We waited a while (maybe 20 minutes) because it was so busy but it was worth it. They gal taking orders was really organized and kind. We had the acai bowl with honey and granola. It looks so pretty when you get it~ they take pride in their work. Refreshing and delish!! I cannot reccomend this place enough. Its worth the hype.
We love Maui fruit ninja! The açaí is homemade and so good! The bowl is the pineapple which is a nice touch. We kept following them around at the Napili farmers market and by the hotels... it was by far the best açaí bowl in Maui. The granola was tasty, the macadamia nuts are a nice touch, and it is gorgeous! Service was quick and friendly. Nothing beats eating this pretty bowl by the ocean!
Made a stop at the Napili Farmers Market before heading to the airport just so I could have this! The girl was super sweet and it was awesome watching her build all the bowls/drinks! A must buy while in the west side of Maui!!! Their mac nut butter was amazing!
Back again. Fruit Ninja does not disappoint! You just must try it. The açaí bowl is fantastic. The fruit is so fresh. Brad and his team are so friendly. I needed to take a couple of bags of granola home as it is so tasty. How can you beat waiting by a beautiful beach for your order. They are opening a storefront in January. Can't wait to go when we come back to Maui. Enjoy!
Along a beautiful boardwalk on Kaanapali Beach I enjoyed an incredibly fresh, tasty, and delicious pineapple açaí fruit bowl. Service was so relaxed, friendly, and kind. The presentation of the açaí bowl was stunning, bright, and the fruit tasted refreshing. If you're in Maui, definitely stop by! They also have some delicious drinks to choose from as well. I am excited to see that they are opening up a storefront very soon. Highly recommend this local business!
Maui Fruit Ninja is the BEST!! I've never had a better acai bowl than from this little stand! We ordered two pineapple bowls, one with strawberry and acai sorbet with coconut and granola on top and one with fruit only. The fruit is so fresh and delicious and the sorbet was wonderful too. The bowls are on the pricier side but so so so worth it for the quality and the presentation! The service was great! The man working at the register was very nice and helpful. You order at the counter and wait around 5-10 minutes for them to make your bowl. I can't stress enough how good this spot is! I'm already looking forward to coming back here next time we're on the island. Highly recommend if you love acai bowls and you're looking for high quality and fresh fruit. The cutest little fruit stand - with the friendliest people! We caught them on Monday in front of the Westin Nanea right on the boardwalk. They offer fruit bowls, açaí bowls, and juices. Thankful to visit the stand on their first day of reopening. Location was next to airport Beach on the boardwalk with close beach access nearby to enjoy your meal and the view. Fruit was fresh and nicely cut, beautifully presented and service was thankful and friendly. I got the papaya bowl though the pineapple one looked amazing (and huge). A little spendy for an acai bowl but happy to support local businesses! read more

Delicious! I got the papaya açaí bowl & it was probably the best fruit/acai bowl I've ever gotten. Was $17 & a long line standing out in the sun, but it was worth it! You have to go on their Instagram/website to find the times & locations of where they are on the island for that day of the week, as it's a stand & aren't in the same place everyday. read more

SWIPE MY CARD, FRUIT NINJA!!! TAKE MY MONEY! I LOVE YOU! You guys. This place is worth it. Is it expensive? Yes. But everything is expensive in Maui so just don't think too hard about it. I got the Pineapple bowl with a scoop of housemade açaí and a scoop of housemade mango sorbet. We topped it off with cut up, mixed fruit, honey, and granola. I took my whole family and they LOVED it. The whole fam went back multiple times during our 1 week trip to Maui. Maui Fruit Ninja is chill and super delicious. I think of it often and have NEVER found a place that offers such incredible sorbets as well as FRESH fruit. Yum. Get yourself some Fruit Ninja. Surf's up. read more

The Açaí bowl was amazing! There was a line but don't let that scare you. They moved it quite fast. The fruit was very fresh and tasty! It was loaded with various fruits even on the bottom. They move locations, so you have to look up where they will setup shop each day. Definitely worth it!! read more

The fruit was fresh and delicious. We were in Maui for 6 days and enjoyed the Maui Fruit Ninja twice when he was located out side our resort. My sister and her family raved about the fruit and the banana bread and the fresh made juices and the OUTSTANDING service! We bought 7 loaves of banana bread and ate all of them before leaving Maui! Try the Maui Fruit Ninja when you visit Maui! You wont be disappointed!!! read more

One of my favorite meals on Maui! On Tuesdays and Fridays they set up directly behind the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort. There's usually a bit of a line but it's worth the wait of around 10 minutes, I got the papaya combo with a scoop of açaí and it was piled with sweet fresh fruit. Additional toppings like honey, coconut, granola and other toppings can be added to customize your bowl. The cashier is so kind and friendly, offering a free sticker with purchase! He let me know they will soon be opening up a storefront, and I'm looking forward to visiting next time I'm in Maui! read more

This place is THE BEST. I am obsessed with acai bowls and after having one from here, I could never get anything this good again! They have the freshest fruit EVER in the bowls. I had the acai bowl when they were out in front of Westin Villas in Kaanapali. I waited in line right before they opened so I was one of the first to get it. The lady taking orders was so friendly and the bowl was so delicious, I went back for a second because my husband who normally never eats acai bowls, loved it. I also bought some bags of the granola, honey, and mac butter to take back home with me. I have desperately been looking online to buy these products but looks like they are only sold at the stand :( read more
Equal parts tasty, refreshing, and instagram-able. What more could you want from a fruit bowl? I kicked off my first afternoon on the island at Maui Fruit Ninja, and it took some trial and error before I found their Wednesday location (Honua Kai Resort, by Duke's Restaurant). They're wedged between the resort and the beach, which I tried (and failed) to access via Kaanapali Shores Place. Honoapi'ilani Park Access Road runs parallel to that one and finally led me to the boardwalk where they're set up. I ordered a Pineapple Bowl with Strawberry Sorbet, Granola, and Coconut. My mom ordered a Papaya Bowl with Strawberry Sorbet and Macadamia Nuts. They mixed up which toppings went on which bowl, but admittedly, we were a bit all over the place while placing our orders. While the papaya bowls run a bit smaller in size than the pineapple bowls, you get to scoop papaya flesh out of the bowl and enjoy it on its own. So the value is pretty even across the board. The mixed fruit in the bowls was so tasty, and the sorbet made it that much tastier. Its strawberry flavor was authentic and not-too-sweet, while its iciness cooled down the otherwise room temperature fruit. I'd definitely recommend splurging on an açaí/sorbet addition to your bowl. It took 15 minutes to get to the front of the line and another 15 minutes to receive our order, so if you're coming after 12 pm, prepare to wait 30+ minutes! They started to run out of items shortly after taking our order at 12:40 pm. Not sure if I'll make another afternoon visit because the wait was a bit much. (I can't blame them for being popular.) But it was a really fun addition to my foodie adventures in Maui! read more

Delicious! Fresh fruit, good service from Ben and Pim and beautiful location. It's a little hard to find but if you turn right after parking in the general parking area, you see it on the grass. Ben even gave us some free stickers! We wish we had more time on Maui so we could come again. read more

If you are on Maui, this is a must do!! Amazing experience from the set up, the staff, the presentation and of course the açai fruit bowl!! Pim and Coco did such an amazing job slicing and dicing each fruit on site while Brad maintain the excited guest awaiting their mid morning treat. Definitely will be back for more. read more
A good friend of ours stopped by with some goodies from Maui Fruit Ninja. They have no truck or brick & mortar location but operate as a food stand at various locations around the island. Their selling point is local, dairy-free, vegan and gluten-free. I simply love it for their simplicity. ORDERING: Order online via their website and pickup is somewhere in Lahaina. Or, free delivery is available to the central valley with a $20 minimum purchase done on Wednesday's and Saturday's (meeting point is at Krispy Kreme in Kahului, according to their website). FLAVORS: Local Lilikoi Sorbet, Ube Cookies, Dragon Fruit Sorbet, Maui Mango Gelato, Coco & Cream, Pumpkin Pie, Ube Gelato, Pineapple Whip and Coconut Gelato, each sold in 1 pint containers. THE GOODIES: Maui Mango Gelato - $7.00 Three simple ingredients: Mango, water and coconut milk. I like mango but don't love it like some folks, but man, this was absolutely delish! Intense mango flavor with a hint of creaminess like a dreamsicle. It's not heavy or filling and not overly sweet as there is no added sugar. If Tasaka Guri Guri made a mango flavor, this would be it! Coconut Gelato - $7.00 You got it, just three ingredients as well: Coconut meat, water and coconut milk. Had this consisted of stringy coconut meat like those found on coconut shrimp and cakes, I wouldn't have liked it. Here, the meat was pulverized to the point that all you're left with was a concentrated infusion of coconut flavors made into a smooth sherbet. Yummers. OVERALL: Highly recommended. I haven't done a personal order yet but will soon as I want to try that Ube Cookies flavor. read more

What a nice little gem to find on the Kaanapali boardwalk. Run by a cool laid back couple who make some PHENOMENAL sorbet + fruit magic. My kids literally left my wife and I with a spoonful to share but it was so good. I was bummed they wouldn't be here on our last days here but are glad they are getting a well deserved vacation :) DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE the next time you're here ! read more

Do you love fresh fruit? Açaí? Sorbet? Then make the effort to check out Maui Fruit Ninja. On my recent visit to Kā'anapali I had heard that the pineapple and papaya bowls were amazing -- and the info was spot on. First day I had the papaya Acai Bowl and the next day the pineapple. Both days the long line showed me that I wasn't the only person who had a craving for MFN, and it's worth the short wait. Brad was very friendly and introduced himself and his wife Pim to me the first day. Their location at the local craft fair by the Westin's boardwalk right next to the beach is a perfect setting. I also bought some of their homemade granola--yummy. I can't wait to go back to Maui and enjoy their food. read more

We got açaí in both a papaya bowl and regular fruit cup and added granola and honey. They were both amazingly delicious! We also purchased a strawberry lemonade drink and a mini loaf of Lahaina banana bread! This place is a definite must try place! This is our 3rd time here! Every September, we vacation on Maui for 24 days. One of things, we look forward to is an Açaí fruit bowl from Maui Fruit Ninja. I don't know how they pack all that yumminess in single cup. My husband John takes a silver mixing bowl to carry them back to our lounge chairs. He shows people around us his bowl & tells them where they can buy one too. A lot of people can't resist and make their way to Maui Food Ninja booth. You can find Maui Food Ninja on the lawn behind of Westin Nanea timeshare on Monday & Westin Ocean Villas South timeshare on Tuesday and Friday. The owners and staff have the aloha spirit. The line can be long but worth waiting in. read more

Absolutely perfect, just what we were craving on our vacation to Hawaii! We were so lucky to find the Maui Fruit Ninja in front of the KOR resort on Friday (which was Christmas Eve morning) and there was a long line but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered the pineapple bowl with fruit and my husband ordered the papaya bowl with fruit and strawberry açaí + granola + honey. We ate our bowls on the beach and everything tasted absolutely delicious. This was just everything you want for breakfast while on vacation. Highly recommend! read more
