Where do I start...possibly one of my favorite breakfast spots in Maui. yes the line is long but I thought it was worth the wait and I'd do it again. Pro tip: bring an umbrella b/c the sun is strong and you'll crisp! We got the macadamia nut pancakes and a half order of the fried rice to share. server was kind and offered to split the pancakes for us which came out in 2 plates and OMG i was like what? this is split? we each had a big giant pancake with a whopping topping of their whipped cream (macadamia nut I think). and the coconut syrup???? y'all, I was in heaven. The pancake was fluffy, the nut topping was delicious. I couldn't finish my pancake! portion was huge. The fried rice was some of the best I've had, so many yummy bits and we got a half-order to share and barely made a dent! We took the rest to-go. Definitely making a stop here again next time we're in Maui!

We got there around 8 and waited an hour. Totally worth the wait! From reviews we got the fried rice. We got the full order and she offered to box up half ahead so it would stay fresh. Oh my goodness! It was HUGE! We probably didn't eat half of the half! But lots of stuff (meat and veg) and scrambled eggs on the top. We each got one pancake- a full order is 2 but you can order one for half price. No way we could have eaten 2! The server and all the other people working were friendly and attentive. It is small but the line moves pretty quickly. The birds are not afraid to steal food. My son asked if we could come back next time!

I'm so confused by all of these positive reviews. This was one of the most overhyped, extremely not worth it meals I've ever had. We waited over an hour in line to eat here because we heard the banana mac nut pancakes and fried rice were good. We got both and the breakfast burrito and all of it was so lackluster and mid. The banana mac nut pancakes barely had any banana or macadamia nuts. It was mostly bland pancakes and cream. The fried rice was so bland we had to douse it in soy sauce for it to be remotely edible. The breakfast burrito had crunchy, raw peppers in it. Also the host who also brought our drinks acted like I asked for a complicated fancy frappuccino or something when I asked for an iced decaf coffee. Rude service from her but our server was very sweet. It's evident that this place only cares about getting crowds in and out. The view from the table is nice but it's Maui- there are beautiful views everywhere. Save your time and money.

Came here at 8:45. The line was so long. We decided to order take out (from the back of the restaurant). Got our food in 15 minutes. We sat and had our breakfast by the pool just outside. It was perfectly cloudy, so we enjoyed the fresh air and fantastic view. Had the eggs Benedict. . Oh soooo good. Maybe next time, I'll bring my own plate and cutlery, so I can enjoy al fresco breakfast even more (I don't enjoy eating with plastic fork). Just as we finished eating, the people at the back of the line (when we arrived), were still in line!! Maybe they really want real plates and silver cutlery.

They serve the best fried rice I've ever had (and I'm an islander)! That and the macadamia nut pancakes are a MUST! I'm not a fan of coconut or fruit on my food so I was hesitant to try the the coconut syrup - but it's absolutely delicious! I always get the corned beef hash and the POG juice alongside the fried rice. It's a huge portion so we get a half serving - but if you want leftovers, get a full order! When you're done, take a relaxing stroll around the beautiful coast. Tip for anyone who don't want to wait: Get it to go! My husband and I have done that a few times when we want to eat in our hotel room. It's definitely worth the wait for the experience though - the service is always great too!

Look at that pancake & whipped topping!

We ate here this morning & it was wonderful. We showed up around 10:30 & waited maybe 30min in line, but it was a beautiful view next to the pool/ocean. We both ordered the eggs Benedict, but I had the vegetarian type while he had the traditional. We also ordered a side macadamia nut pancake since that's the specialty. They did not disappoint. The service was fast. The food was delicious. The place is unique & adorable & feels like you're in an older Maui (in a good way). Oh! & the pancake was amazing. It was like a regular cake really. 10/10 would eat here again.

Worth the wait! Please do not let the line force you to go elsewhere. Great food, huge portions and awesome hawaiian hospitality. Easy beach access. Sorry no photos, food smelled so good we ate before we had the chance to capture.

We arrived at 8:20am and waited close to an hour for a table. We are so glad we decided to stick it out - it was well worth the wait and the views aren't bad while you wait either. Great whale watching time. We ordered the combo Mac nut pancakes which came with a mountain of homemade whipped cream, Mac nuts, banana, and pineapple. The pineapple was underwhelming and stringy / not super flavorful. But, everything else was phenomenal - so fluffy pancake, creamy caramelized tasting whipped cream, plenty of Mac nuts - just WOW. We also got a side oder of corned beef hash which was fresh and hot, along with the country potatoes which were ok - tasted like the oil may have been a bit stale. This is a no frills, fast friendly service spot, with great food and great views.

My family and I finally tried this place even though they've lived in Lahaina for 7 years. We came on Saturday, 6/27/26. There was plenty of parking, and it was easy to find will all the signs. We got into the semi-long line at 10a and were seated at 10:45. There is a small 2-person bench that my mom and I sat in while my stepdad stood in line for us. Other than that bench, you have to stand in the sun. They provide umbrellas if you want protection from the sun or rain. The service was pretty good. They were nice and helpful. Our waitress could've been more attentive, but it also could've been worse. It's a pretty small place with a wonderful view. They played music at a good level. My mom liked her eggs benedict, side of bacon, and single pancake. My stepdad liked his combo specialty pancakes with coconut syrup, side Portuguese sausage, and some fried rice. I slightly liked my combo specialty pancakes and some fried rice. I tried my mom's potatoes that came with her eggs benedict, and they were burnt. I thought the food was a little bland. I've had better pancakes elsewhere, and these weren't that sweet or flavorful. I wish the fried rice didn't have purple cabbage or bell peppers and had more seasoning. The portions for the pancakes and fried rice were huge though, so that's good. I drink tap water at every restaurant I go to and my own house, and the Gazebo's was the gross kind. Overall, my parents really liked the food and would return, but I personally wouldn't.

Popular breakfast spot with beach views. We read other reviews that recommended arriving here earlier than the 7:30am opening time. We arrived at 7am and it was 35 minute wait after opening. The line moved slowly because there's limited seating and people don't rush but it's a vacation vibe, so what do you expect. We ordered the combo pancakes and the half order of fried rice. The half order portion was huge - I still had leftovers after the meal. Cash and credit cards accepted but it's more expensive to use credit cards. The view of the water was great and our waitress was efficient. Everyone was chilling and assuming that you're not in a rush, it is a good place to stop by.

Had the chance to eat at The Gazebo in Lahaina during peak spring break--and yes, the wait was real (about 2 hours, even getting there 30 minutes before opening). But honestly, it was still worth it. The ambiance is exactly what you hope for in Maui--relaxed, oceanfront, and just a great place to slow down and enjoy the moment. The food absolutely delivers, from start to finish, and you can tell they've been doing it right for a long time. What really stood out was the service. When your server has been there for 30+ years, that tells you everything you need to know. That kind of experience and pride shows in how they treat you--genuine, warm, and dialed-in. Bottom line: expect a wait during busy times, but if you're patient, you'll be rewarded with great food, incredible hospitality, and one of those classic Maui dining experiences that sticks with you.

    Egg Fried Rice

We were staying within walking distance to the Gazebo, from all our research for this trip a must visit for breakfast. While there is usually a line to get in, I figured because it was rainy we would get right in. I was wrong, there was still a line. The Gazebo had large umbrellas you could use, the line is outside. The damp morning brought a beautiful rainbow over the water. About 50 minutes later we were in. There was a line the entire time we were there. The pancakes are the thing, and also it turns out, fried rice. Under their Specialties, I ordered White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, two fluffy pancakes topped with those items plus a generous topping of whipped cream. While it was wonderful without syrup, I did eventually try their white super sweet coconut syrup. Another in our group got for the table a full order of their Egg Fried Rice, and it was a mountain of food on a large plate. The savory rice really helped balance the sweet of the pancakes. The rice had a ton of different ingredients. Once ordered the food took less than 10 minutes. This open air spot overlooking the water was a fantastic start to the day.

    Monte Cristo
    Jacob V.

Amazing place to eat with amazing pancakes! I recommend the mac just like it's recommended. I also had the Monte Cristo which is a good warm sandwich but I'd still lean on pancakes. Other than that there is typically a line in the sun, but there are tide pools and ocean front just in front. Highly recommend on the itinerary for Maui.

    Where do I park?

The hotel parking lot does have spaces specifically marked for the Gazebo. There may be some on-street parking next to the parking lot.

Can we do phone takeout orders?

Yes we did and it was less time waiting. We actully called the restaurant at the back of the entrance line and got our order way before we wouldve been seated. but we've also waited in line and its simply fantastic. we will be back.

    Is there Handicap parking?

Yes. There is handicapped parking, and there is a ramp for walkers and/or wheelchairs to the restaurant.

How late do they serve breakfast?

They're open till two in the afternoon

Hi Krystal :) .....thank you for your inquiry....if we have no major setbacks we will be reopening on Thursday 10/12...hope to see you soon :) Jerry

Hi Eric :) …..thank you for your inquiry….we will be opening back up real close to 10/8/2023…I hope you will be on Maui around that time.

The pool is for guests of the condo complex only.

Yes you can. It's faster if you call to order. The line gets long early in the morning.

Are there gluten free options on the menu?

The menu is huge, and they are very accommodating with any dietary requests. There are options for egg dishes, fresh fruit, and most dishes have an option for rice instead of bread! There will be a long wait, but I highly recommend taking the time!

Do they have the same coconut syrup as Boots & Kimos on Oahu?

No. Boots and Kimos is thicker and tastes more like coconut. IMO

Do they serve breakfast until 2:00? And--does any know general wait times closer to lunch?

Yes. The breakfast menu is available while they are open until 2. We (party of 4) arrived at 1p and was seated at 1:30p.

No. They do not take reservations. It opens at 7:30am and people who want to get seated right away start waiting at 6:30am. We got there at 7:40am and we had to wait about 1.5 hours before getting seated. They do have take out, so you can order take…

The sausage links were very well done. By well done I mean cooked to jerky almost. The cook did a good job and was nice. He crisped my mushy potatoes for me which was nice. We decided we would go and make a waffle and share it with no way to butter it before syrup so we had to find a syrup bowl. Here is the teal bad part....
