Fruit cup with mango, kiwi, dragonfruit

The fruit was so fresh and flavorful and not a bad pride for all of the options. The fruit truck is tucked away just to the side of the road and was so cute with lots of little knickknacks everywhere, very welcoming. We got our Fruit within 10 minutes with 5 people in front of us and one person working the truck. Absolutely incredible experience, will be going every single morning while I'm here.

The atmosphere was good with lots of little garden decor. The lady who worked the fruit truck was incredibly kind and even offered us free dragonfruit. The pineapple and mangoes were the best I've ever had. Would recommend to anyone wanting a fresh fruit bite.

Amazing! It's a must when in the area. Super cute and shaded seating area. You can tell this fruit truck has well loved and cared for.

The fruit from this truck is absolutely amazing! Everything was so fresh, sweet, and full of flavor. The pineapple was juicy and perfectly ripe, the mango melted in my mouth, and the orange slice added the perfect citrus touch. They even serve it beautifully inside a pineapple shell, delicious!!! You can really taste the difference compared to store-bought fruit--this is tropical fruit at its best. Refreshing, vibrant, and the perfect snack on a warm Maui day. If you're visiting the island, you definitely need to stop here!

I heard amazing things about Maui Fruit Truck on social media and couldn't wait to try it! Fruit is my jam, especially pineapple! The location was easy to find, right off the highway. The outside seating area is minimal but super cute and quaint. They have about 3 tables with overhead sun coverage and 1 chess board. There was only one worker taking orders and cutting the fruit so be patient when arriving, you may have to wait to order while she's preparing another order. We ordered the pineapple bowl with only pineapple and mango. You can pick and choose the fruit you want and the worker will let you know what's available and in season. The presentation is amazing , fun and instagrammable but if I'm being honest the fruit left much to be desired. The pineapple was sour and the mango was lacking flavor. Usually when we come to Maui we can't get enough of their Pineapple so this was super disappointing . Although, I heard there is a pineapple shortage this year and perhaps this is why. Because of this,I can't give them 5 stars but I'd be willing to come back another time to see if the fruit improves. If you're looking for good vibez and something fresh on a hot day this is the place. But I wouldn't expect the best fruit of your life.

The fruit was fresh and the presentation was beautiful. It tasted as good as it looks.

I always enjoy mango sticky rice, but this one was so spot on, the mango was perfectly ripe!

We decided to hit the road and find it. Lucky we did! It was open, there was no line. It had a great assortment of rolls and a good number of options for nigiri. We got 4-5 rolls and some nigiri and a poke bowl. It was all freshly made, perfectly rolled and came out at the time told to us, about 15 minutes. We ate it in the car- we didn't notice the ants in the table until after we sat down to wait for about 10 minutes. I followed them on instagram and they posted our order. So cool! We went back one more time during our trip.

We stopped by on a Monday night around 7:30 pm after doing the road to Hana. They had some Whitney Houston and Shakira bumpin, some cute garden lights, and three outdoor picnic tables for diners. We ordered and had to fill up on gas, so we picked up some drinks from the nearby gas station and got back to wait for the food. The server said it would take about 15 minutes, and I think that was pretty accurate. We ended up ordering the following: Salmon Nigiri - 3/5 this was a little bit more salty than I normally expect of my nigiri. Spicy California Roll - 5/5 tasted like a fresh California roll with some spicy mayo on it. It wasn't very spicy though? Mild enough for the non-spice lovers. Tempura Roll - 5/5 this was probably my favorite roll. It was simple yet delicious. You can't ever go wrong with unagi sauce. Smash Roll - 4/5 the smash roll was really good. It had a good, well-rounded taste with the tuna and salmon. This was my husband's favorite roll. If you're feeling like you need some good Asian-American sushi, check out Smash Maui! It's going to hit!

My husband ordered the Monkeypod Mai Tai, which came with a nice foam. I ordered the Brewed Awakening, which was delicious but strong. I guess everyone has a bad night now and then. Clearly our server was in that mode. Just sort of a dowered look on her face and no warmth or personal touch. The drop in food quality is the real problem. I had the grilled fish sandwich (last two times there) and was bummed at how over cooked it was. The time before I had to send it back because it was like a tennis shoe sole. I even asked that it not be over cooked when I first ordered. Yikes!!! Pizza sauce was very thick and tomato pasty (canned?) At least the crust was good. I'm a big fan of Merriman's, but this branch is not anything like the original Wailea restaurant. Somebody in management needs to wake up and get involved. Customers shouldn't be taken for granted. For now, go to Aloha Grill.
