I've loved their food since their Lahaina days--I live in Central and used to drive all the way to the Westside just for their pho. So happy they've finally reopened in Kihei! After seeing so many great reviews, we decided to give this place a try and we are so happy that we did. I love her and have a pretty high standards, but I am happy to say this lift up to the expectation! The restaurant is located in a shopping center. It is clean and has good seating. The pricing is a little bit on the higher end compared to what I'm used to, but the portion was good and the broth was delicious! Tucked in the corner of Longs mall, never knew if it roll my friend rolls me about it. I had the most authentic pho with oxtail! So delicious! Ngon!!! I haven't been here since before the Lāhainā wildfire. I'm so glad that they are back and open for business in a new location. We tried the hot stone pho, calamari and combo pho. Everything was delicious just like how it used to be from their lahaina location. The hot stone pho is very worth it with all the meat and toppings and you can share it with 2 people. I love the hot stone pho because it keeps your pho hot. I also really loved the inside decorations and how they put up the Lāhainā strong picture to show where the restaurant was from and that it was affected by the Lāhainā fire. read more

Dined here on a Wednesday night with my wife and 2 girls. We got 2 rare beef and meatballs pho and 1 rare beef and brisket pho. Ice water to drink. This is located in the corner of the Longs shopping center in Kihei where the old Tanpopo ramen restaurant used to be. It's my understanding that this business used to be in Lahaina before the fires and had to relocate. Interior has a similar feel to Tanpopo but there is a big picture of Lahaina on the wall and there's a divider between the kitchen and the dining area. Server was quick to take order and very responsive. The pho came out pretty quickly and with the usual accompaniments (bean sprouts, basil, lime, sriracha, plum sauce, chili paste). They only gave us 3 spoons for 4 bowls of pho (my wife split hers with our younger daughter). The pho is very good. Very rich and flavorful broth with generous amount of noodles and meat. I felt like both meat types (rare beef and brisket) were very good. The portion size is just about right to where you can almost finish it on most occasions and if you're really hungry should be able to finish it and also have some appetizers or dessert. Prices were average for pho, so that was nice. Someone mentioned in the reviews about them charging 10% tax but I only saw mine as 5% on my receipt. Would have appreciated more water refills as they didn't seem to be actively refilling water unless asked. That's the only reason I'll drop them a star...refill the water regularly. We will definitely be back. My daughter said this is "her new pho place in Kihei from now on." My wife also really enjoyed the pho. My little girl ate a surprising amount, we'll have to get her a bowl of her own next time! read more

Was craving some Vietnamese food and Yelp came thru!! The people are kind and the food is good!! The pho broth is supper flavorful and my dad's rice and pork chops were amazing!! The spicy noodle soup was just okay, but according to the owners, it's really hard finding the right ingredients on the island being that there's no real Asian super markets! They definitely try their best and make the best of it, so I definitely can't complain!! We all got pho, and my kids got smoothies, everyone enjoyed their food! This was my first time ordering takeout from this spot in Kihei next to Longs Drugs. The reviews were great, so I had high expectations. The café itself is very small and tidy, with mismatched tables that reminded me of Amigos. The gentleman who helped me seemed overwhelmed with orders. I told him I wanted my food to go, and he asked me to take a seat and said it would be ready shortly. After about ten minutes, it still wasn't ready, and he apologized for forgetting my order. The rare beef pho was okay. The broth wasn't as flavorful as I expected, and the portion of beef was small, though the quality of the beef itself was excellent. The condiments--basil, bean sprouts, and mint--were very minimal, and the sauces were also on the small side. The pork egg rolls were full of flavor, but the dipping sauce was less tangy and sweet than I was expecting. I grew up in California and also with my mom's delicious Vietnamese cooking, so take this with a grain of salt since I am going to be more critical than most. We got the hot stone pho and the cube beef, which is just Bo luc lac, both were okay. I give this place a 4 star because it's literally the only pho place here on the island in Kihei, and the staff were just so nice. To us, the phone was salty and the cube beef was a little bland. However, if you are just looking for a broth fix, I would recommend just coming here. read more

Ate here last night. I enjoyed the food, the staff was so pleasant, and the ambiance is nice. I always want to help out a small struggling business, especially when the food is so good. I had wonton saimin noodle soup. The food was good and plentiful. I was surprised at the large shrimp included in the dish along with cha sui meat, lots of noodles and the wontons. I also had the Thai coffee with condensed milk and it was so yummy but not overly sweet. I'm only on Maui for a week, but will probably head there again before I leave. read more

The ambiance is so relaxing with subtle music and the cutesy waterfall in the corner of the room. We got the shrimp tempura and papaya salad for appetizers--both amazing! I then got the oxtail pho and he got the spicy noodle pho. Again, both were delicious! Great portions, lots of noodles and flavorful soup. Read about this little Gem of a place from a few local reviews on Google when we found out one of our old frequent stops had closed for Vietnamese food. I'm glad we did. We were greeted warmly even 30 mins before closing, but didn't get our orders taken for awhile even with flagging, later found out that they had been only open 10 days. So service level will get a pass while they work on their flow, but they were attentive otherwise. Flavors of the pho (tried the combo, brisket, and ox tail) and Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle soup) were good. Others in the restaurant were often ordering additional take out and most were locals. What hit home for me the most was having the opportunity to speak with the owner and to hear her story. Surviving through the Lahiana Wildfires and what she has to go through to survive and restart her livelyhood. I feel for all those in Lahiana who lost their homes, businesses and loved ones. I've had family affected by wildfires as well in California and the trauma that come from it. We as guests of Maui need to support these local business owners as they work hard to rebuild. read more

I hate to give a bad review like this, but unfortunately our food warranted this review. We ordered spring rolls, calamari, oxtail pho and pad thai through DoorDash and everything was bland. The pad thai did not come with bean sprouts or any limes. It was so bland and looked like someone's left overs tossed in the box. The pho was also extremely bland and disappointing. The calamari, same thing with the very bland flavor. I don't even think there was salt used to season it. The spring rolls did not even come with nuoc cham. Pho did not have any herbs, limes or hoisin sauce. It was a disappointment and it was expensive for pho and pad thai. I would recommend a pass on this place. read more

We went in for lunch on the new year's day. It's nice that it's open, as many restaurants closed. Not many people there and we were served quickly. The Pho tasted okay, but the bean sprouts and culantro were looking very bad that we didn't add them to the pho for food safety. The waiter actually asked me why I didn't eat them and I told him they looked stale. He explained that's because the bean sprouts were not stored in water. But he didn't do anything about it. BTW I buy bean sprouts often at supermarkets. They are usually not stored in water but still fresh. read more
