This restaurant has been open for many years in a mall near movie theater and at one time it was quite popular. We came tonight with some fond memories of the place. Unfortunately, the current ownership and the state of the restaurant seems like a shell of it's Former self. Although the restaurant is clean and kind of has a busy cluttered look to it. The Fans are loud we were greeted by having carafe of water placed on the table with two glasses no effort to pour the water . This chicken satay was OK. The peanut sauce did not have distinct flavor, kind of brown paste with a slight peanut flavor. . It was rather mild. We did have the Thai soup with shrimp, which was good had an authentic flavor. The two main courses we had were just acceptable. Nothing more the pad Thai was bland no hint of chili powder eggs no bean sprouts definitely a pass. . The server that took our order didn't ask us if we wanted it spicy or bland just assumed we wanted a bland by looking at us. Although young lady, who actually put our plates on the table, was courteous. It could not overcome the blend boring dishes that were put on our table. I don't think I'll be coming back there anytime soon. There are better options. read more

Service was good. We went there for lunch. I think I enjoyed the fried chicken and the green curry the best. The fried rice was a decent portion and probably good for 4-6 people. The pad see ew was a little disappointing since I'm used to a little more flavor in the noodles but they did have a lot of stir fried veggies. Panang curry had some good flavors as well. read more

This is the perfect place for large family dining. We came here as a party of 14 and our server was so sweet and fun! She was so kind to the kids and making sure they left with full stomachs. The quality and consistency of the food as well as kind, professional service by the hard working owners and staff are always wonderful. We were lucky to eat there today on Mother's Day. They are occasionally open on Sundays, but not always so make sure to call beforehand if you crave Thai food on Sundays otherwise they are open Monday to Saturday on a regular basis taking a short break in the afternoon between lunch and dinner service. This place is still one of my go to spots for Thai. It's always clean, workers are friendly and food is delicious. Our faves are the Tom kha gai, a yummy coconut ginger soup with chicken. The gaiyang (cornish game hen) is so delicious! It's nicely seasoned, crispy and comes with the perfect sweet and sour dipping sauce. The beef salad is light, flavorful and refreshing. The Thai green curry is packed full of yummy vegetables. We order everything hot. If spicy is your jam, go for it. Your taste buds will thank you. read more

I've been coming here for almost 20 years and always loved the Thai Salad, especially the dressing. But the new version is thinner and lacks that great flavor, so I stopped ordering it. I asked once and they said there is no change so I tried a few more times, with no luck. I still enjoy the chicken satay, but today it was off. The chicken wasn't charred or flavorful, and the dipping sauce tasted weird. After eating certain things for almost 20 years, you can tell when something is different. What a bummer! read more

Thailand Cuisine has been a mainstay at Maui Mall for as long as I can remember. They are located next to Siu's Chinese Kitchen and just a few doors down from Baskin N Robins. We stopped by in the middle of the week for lunch a few weeks ago and the restaurant was quite empty with just 2 other tables filled. It's a small restaurant, but can accommodate about 30 patrons. My party ordered quite the spread of food and had a bit of everything which I loved since it's been years since I last stepped into this restaurant. We got the beef salad, spring rolls, chicken pad thai, crispy fried chicken, chicken panang curry, thai beef broccoli, thai chicken eggplant, sticky rice, and mango sticky rice. I must say everything that I had was quite tasty. The only dish I didn't try was the beef salad, but my favorites were the beef broccoli, spring rolls, and fried chicken. I also really enjoyed the thai chicken eggplant. The dishes were flavorful and meat in each dish were tender. The mango sticky rice was also good, but I prefer it to be more on the sweeter side. Happy to repost they use fresh mangoes though, but frozen! Overall, a solid choice for Thai cuisine with a wide range of choices for anyone. They've obviously been doing something right to keep customers coming back after all these years. I truly left wondering why we don't visit here more often. Highly recommend! read more

The tofu panang curry, $17.99, had a great taste however it doesn't come with rice. White rice is an additional $6. The drunken noodles, $17.99, were bland even after requesting them spicy. They also had carrots, cabbage and broccoli in addition to the bell pepper while onion and garlic were missing. I will not return. read more

Located inside Maui Mall, this place is usually on rotation when the boyfriend is in town. We are usually instantly seated & our order is taken within minutes of being ready. From the menu, we've tried their summer rolls, green curry w/shrimp, beef salad, tom yum w/shrimp, & the spicy seafood soup. Flavors are always on point & consistent. Unfortunately the loss of a star prompted me to write this update at one of our favorite Thai places. While a 4-star isn't anything to sneer at, a perfect 5 is hard to maintain with me, especially with inconsistencies. My nephew-in-law was visiting and loves this place which is what brought us here yet again. FOOD: We each ordered our favorites. For them, Tom Yum Soup, Matsaman Curry and sticky rice. Me, Crispy Noodles with Chicken and jasmine rice. While they enjoyed their dishes, I felt my dish was not as good as before. The gravy was lighter in flavor and color. They wanted more sticky rice but they ran out. How do you run out of rice in the middle of the dinner rush hour? Sounds more like someone was too lazy to cook more. They also no longer offer the delicious Siam Toast. And while I understand the rising cost of life, they've raised their prices significantly within the past 2 years, sometimes twice within the year. It's not the deal it once was. SERVICE: This floundered, badly. The former staff used to be so friendly and efficient but currently it felt more like a Chinese restaurant experience - very curt and cut throat. There was no greeting for a good five minutes, no beverage offer, didn't get checked-on throughout, my spouse's beer arrived late and we had to ask twice for a special sauce. Little things that make a big difference. OVERALL: I'm still a fan but won't be in as often. I think they're still the best Thai restaurant in the area as I'm not a fan of food trucks. read more

Nestled within the Maui Mall is a GEM of a Thai restaurant! One of THE BEST that I have had. The crab Rangoon was so good that I couldn't wait to eat it even though it was physically too hot to eat (worth it!) The yellow curry was delish and the pineapple fried rice was fabulous! We had the fried banana for dessert and it was unbelievable! I was so full but I still wanted to take some home! The service was excellent by the 2 lovely ladies that greeted, sat and served us. Busy little restaurant located in an outdoor strip mall right beside Wholefoods, with nice interior decor, plus public outdoor seating near the entrance which meant we could sit with our 2 dogs in tow and enjoy a meal for date night. We ordered take out but the staff brought it out to us in a bag and provided plates, cutlery and water which was sooo nice of them. They really looked after us! I ordered the shrimp pineapple cashew curry and it was delicious, with just the right amount of spicy sweetness. I was surprised it had noodles in the curry, but it was still good. Hubby had the massaman curry with chicken and it was equally delicious. The highlight was the Tod Mun Pla (spicy fish cakes), hot spicy little circles of yumminess! Small but yummy place in Maui Mall! I've never had bad service and never had to wait long for a table (even when it's busy inside). Only wish they had a little bigger location. Tables are a little too close to other customers for my comfort. Food is awesome! My favorites are the Panang Curry. And you can choose to add protein if you want: chicken, beef, pork... I like it with pork. My husband likes it with beef. The Pad Thai is pretty yummy too. They serve plates like family style, but we usually just eat what we order. Then make to-go boxes of whatever we don't finish. Tip: get a side of sticky rice, if you like it too! read more

I ended up having lunch here with my sister. She is on a keto diet and I am not. So I needed to make sure I found a place we're both our palates would be satisfied. I am absolutely obsessed with the seafood tom yum soup (Tom Yum Ta Lay $15). For those of you who haven't tried it yet, think of it as a Cioppino with a Thai twist. It's a seafood stew served in a savory red broth. Kinda the same thing, right. I think that's why I love it so much. Kaffir lime leaves and chopped lemongrass accentuate the seafood flavor. Filled with fish , muscles, scallops, squid and mushrooms, this dish is enough for a party of 2. It's the kinda of soup you want to eat on a rainy day or you're feeling a cold coming on (which I was). Now it's probably just me, but over the years I've "graduated" from mild to medium to spicy and then to very spicy. Very spicy equated to a nice lingering burn around my lips, my tongue, and in my throat. My sister could barely handle it (amateur lol). This is one of the few restaurants that have survived in the Maui Mall. Once you go you will see why. The food is always consistently good and the service is very attentive. read more

Thailand Cuisine is my go-to for Thai food on the island. I know I can count on Thailand Cuisine for a great meal that will not disappoint. I absolutely love their Thai tea. And the pad Thai is consistently delicious and one of my favorites. The basil chicken was also tasty. But I think the star of the show was the beef Thai yellow curry. I went with the recommendation of one of my best buds Sherman P., and I'm glad I did. I've never tried this dish before, because I'm not a fan of curry usually, but this dish was a pleasant surprise and quite delicious. It was almost like a stew with a flavorful broth and carrots, potatoes and onions. The yellow curry was not overwhelming, because it was toned down with coconut milk. This dish is amazing with a side of jasmine rice. I also really appreciate how Thailand Cuisine asks me how much heat I want in my dishes (mild, medium, spicy, super spicy).
