I recently dined at Mavericks and had an overall pleasant experience. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly our server, who was exceptionally caring and attentive. They offered fantastic recommendations and provided great assistance with the drink menu, making our choices easy and enjoyable. While the main dishes were good, they didn't quite reach the level of extraordinary. The crispy chicken tacos were enjoyable, but the chicken pieces were quite small, resulting in a taste dominated by tortilla rather than the flavorful chicken. Similarly, the Korean fried chicken sandwich was tasty, but the sauce lacked depth, missing that extra kick we were hoping for. The loaded fries are a definite grab, who doesn't love crispy fries with melted cheese?? Honestly fantastic and checked all my boxes! Despite these minor setbacks, Mavericks is worth a visit, especially for the stellar service and welcoming atmosphere. Maverick's is a great sports bar restaurant that serves up delicious food and has a fantastic late-night atmosphere. We ordered the make your own pizza with all the toppings, and it was a real treat. The crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It's great that they offer the option to customize your pizza to your liking. We also tried some of the appetizers, and they did not disappoint. Each one was packed with flavor and the portions were more than enough to share. It's nice to see a restaurant that really cares about the quality of their food. The service was attentive and the vibe was really nice, with a laid-back atmosphere. And, of course, the fact that it was open late was a big plus. Maverick's is definitely worth checking out. Would rate this place a zero if I could. Place is racist. Manager attacked me and my brown family after we pointed out that one of the customers was walking around without a mask. The customers later decided to verbally attack us, even though they were they ones not wearing their masks. I was sitting with my 15 year old sister who had to witness racism first hand from a 40 year old white male. Will never waste my money on this bigoted place ever again. I will however be reporting them to the state attorneys office first thing tomorrow morning. read more

They were busy when we got there so understandably it took a few minutes to get our drink and dinner order in but when there was 4 people left in the place and the bartender ignored us for 15 minutes we decided to go over to where she was at and interrupt her conversation so we could cash out. I understand chatting with your regulars but they lost out on another round of drinks and possibly a round of shots because we didn't get any attention. Here's a rundown: mushroom pizza - the description makes it seem like it will be cheesy and full of flavor, but it was very one note duck confit pizza - had three pieces of duck on it and was otherwise covered in hot peppers lemon blueberry pancake - more of a skillet cake - sauce was the best part, otherwise dry on the bottom Raclette burger - $30 which is almost comparable in price to a burger I had at The Four Seasons in Maui. That burger, was worth every penny. This one had absolutely no flavor. The meat tasted like mush - definitely lacked seasoning, and there was not a speck of cheese to be found. If you're going to call a burger a raclette, it should be oozing with cheese. grilled Romaine salad - leaves were bitter and the dressing again, looked delicious, but had no flavor. The flavors did not compliment each other at all - with the pickled grapes, taking away from the dish and contrasting very starkly against the rotten tasting lettuce Brown sugar oat milk latte - really the only thing that delivered both on looks and on flavor. Sadly, not high on my list of places to return. It kind of made me think of Vegas: lots of pomp and glam which momentarily distracts you into thinking you're having the best time of your life. But in retrospect, not very fulfilling.
