I went for a simple oil change last week while there I saw some things that will make this the last visit for me, my family and if I can my friends Scott and Tim where disgusting Scott's shirt was hanging out of his pants showing his huge crack and Tim oh Tim was the worst the way he talks to his mechanics and other customers was down right wrong that was the worst experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop. After my car was finally "done" I drove off only to have it make loud noises because my tire wasn't put back on properly. This place is the worst. The customer service is atrocious. Standing at counter, being ignored, then the guy looks at me and says "yeah?". I guess that's their version of "may I help you?" Everyone here is rude and obnoxious. They sell you things you don't need, quote prices then overcharge you. I had a nail in my tire and they told me it couldn't be patched and the tire for my car would be $180. For one tire. Left, went to a local tire place, and they patched it for $8. Tire still on my car, in great condition. Recently blew out a tire on 112 and they were the closest shop and open on Sunday. Was quoted a price, told the guy I wanted the cheapest tire which was $79. They put the $110 one on and charged extra for balancing, etc. it was cold and now 5pm, so I paid and left and will never ever come to this crap shop again. Went there to mount and balance new tires along with a alignment, 4, yes four hours later and 200$ later I left there with 3 different warning lights on my dash. They claim all they touched was tires and tie rods and had nothing to do with them and I have to goto my dealer to fix it. So here is a follow up to my last review. I had received a response to my last entry. After calling the main office, the final outcome was.....they were going to send me a $40.00 voucher as thier way of trying to make amends, for the major screw up from the last visit. Now I realize they had to try and appease me, but, $40.00. A joke to say the leaat. Why? Well, let's add up what it cost me. 2 tires @ @100.00 a piece. 2 front end alignments @ 69.95 each. 1 set of brake pads $20.00 . 1 Rotor 30.00 and 1. Brake hose 45.00. Plus labor, to install all, 100.00. Now you as you can see, the total is over $500.00. Giving me a $40.00 voucher doesn't even come close. Like I said in my previous review. I will never go back to MAVIS TIRE AGAIN. read more

Worse experience! Website allows for appointments to be made. Scheduled a 9:30am appointment 5 days in advance for just a motor vehicle safety and emissions inspection. Arrived on time for the appointment and here it is 2 hours later and my car is yet to be seen. When I asked about why it is taking so long considering that I had an appointment, I was told by the manager that appointments only guarantee that you will be seen. So why have time slots to select from if it doesn't matter? Poor service. On the other hand, they finally finished and gave me a discount on service for the inconvenience. The manager was nice and was talking to me with compassion because I was not feeling good and we actually shared a few laughs over my comment to him about the chairs in the waiting area not being too comfortable. So because of his being human and kind, he redeemed the experience. I am hoping that if I ever have to return, the next experience will be better. One more chance! read more

The absolute worst experience!! I payed for the tires at 11 am. The truck sat all day without getting worked on then they asked me to leave it there overnight and it would get done 1st thing in the morning. I called at 11 am and they tell me they couldn't remove the tires without the lug key(which my truck doesn't have!!!) I explained that to them and then they said ok the mechanic must have been mistaken. Now I call back again at 2pm and they say that they don't have the right wrench!! Your a tire place!! I tell them I want a refund on the tires and they tell me I can still purchase them from them and get them mounted somewhere else!!! Unbelievable!! I go to retrieve my vehicle and it's left unlocked outside in a busy area with all my personal belongings inside!!! Needless to say I went to Walmart and had the tires done in 2 hours!! As others have written previously, the prices are good; However, the wait time is ridiculous. Two tires and a wheel alignment -- 2 1/2 hours!! WHY? Because the ONLY guy who was scheduled today that did alignments went to lunch. Yes, there are other guys who do alignments, but they were off today. So just the one guy. I was told, "well it is a holiday week and we have to give everyone an extra day off." They didn't even tell me there would be a delay. I just sat there in the waiting area like a jerk, watching everyone come and go. Not a single word from anyone about the delay -- and I had an appointment. I was NOT a walk in!! I don't expect "Tiffany's" customer service, but I certainly expect common courtesy. I'd rather pay an extra couple of bucks to get better service and more realistic wait times. read more

Horrible! First of all i waited an hour considering that when i walked in there was only 2 people waiting and they were together waiting for the same car. Secondly when i got my car back from a balance and rotation they did not rotate my tires and they did a poor balancing. One of my tires does not even have any weights on it. The other post is right about the prices being cheap and them not trying to sell you stuff but the service is The place is very shady with very shady characters walking by. It felt unsafe.
