They were completely transparent showing me the damage in person and via photos when I wasn't present. I also called other shops to get an approx quote and every single one said that they couldn't beat H&K. Most importantly, their work was meticulous and exceeded expectations. Don't be fooled by the unassuming, relatively small garage/gas station, they have the latest equipment and several knowledgeable mechanics. He was told there was no need to wait--they'd call us, explain the issue, and get our approval before proceeding. We were told everything would be done in 1.5 hours. We live just 4 minutes away, so I picked him up. After 1.5 hours with no call, we returned--only to find the car still parked exactly where we left it. When we calmly explained the situation, one employee arrogantly said, "I never told you that--we're busy, can't you see?" No apology, no courtesy. When I asked why no one had called, he continued speaking in a condescending, dismissive way. And when I expressed my frustration, he simply said, "Here's your key--you can leave." Unbelievable rudeness and zero respect for customers. This kind of behavior reflects terribly on the company. Shameful.
