Wife would not re-order the Sweet Potato Fries- they were over-cooked and bland. My Fries were good and hot.

The Benedict was a little salty for my taste, but thankfully, it didn't overpower the other flavors. The seasoning and hollandaise sauce complemented the dish really well. My father ordered the exact same thing and absolutely loved it. My mother went with the Mexican Avocado Toast, which she rated a 7.8/10. She also found it slightly salty, and the dish was a little cheesier and oilier than she preferred. Since she isn't a big fan of cheese, that affected her overall rating. However, she still enjoyed it enough to finish her meal. My wife ordered the Chicken & Waffle Mac, which was definitely an interesting and creative take on the classic chicken and waffles. Having macaroni incorporated into the waffle made the dish unique. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and she gave it an 8/10. Thinking there wasn't any macaroni with her entrée, my wife also ordered a side of Cheesy Macaroni. She was pleasantly surprised by it and gave it a 9/10. It ended up being one of her favorite parts of the meal. Overall, Parlour Brunch and Late Night Burger Bar was a solid family dining experience with a comfortable atmosphere, creative dishes, and plenty of flavor.

The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We also shared an order of the lemon ricotta pancakes. These were ok. The pancakes themselves were light and fluffy, but had very little lemon flavor. Kind of a bummer. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive the whole time we were there. If you're looking for a solid, delicious brunch spot in Downtown Las Vegas, put this on your list!

I had high hopes for this diner, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a mixed bag. First up, the croissant sandwich was decent, though the croissant itself was a bit too tough on the outside. The bacon was perfectly crispy, which was a nice touch. But honestly, the star of the dish was the potatoes--crispy, puffed-up perfection! They were definitely the highlight of the meal. Now, the fried chicken sandwich... unfortunately, it missed the mark. I'd give it a 3.2/10. The spicy mayo didn't quite work for me; it tasted more like buffalo sauce, which clashed with the overall flavors. The chicken was super flat, kind of like a McChicken, and not crispy enough to balance out the sauce. I also ordered the plain waffle, but it ended up being a little underwhelming at a solid 3/10. The berries were incredibly fresh and added a nice pop of flavor, but the waffle itself was bland. A light dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of syrup could have really elevated this dish. One really nice touch, though: I asked for a specific sauce for my sandwich, but unfortunately, they didn't have it in stock. Without me even asking, our server offered the next best thing as a substitute, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond. It's little gestures like that that really stand out. On the plus side, the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was just a bit of a letdown overall. While the service was top-notch, the dishes could use a little more flavor and creativity to really stand out. read more

I know what you're thinking. How can I have looked at this place and had any real expectations of a positive food experience. Well I feel I must explain/validate myself. My wife's cousin from Kansas City came for a visit with her family. These price winners decided to bring their 12 year old daughter with them to LV. Obviously the kid was missable and they let her pick a restaurant so she could feel like she was included in the vacation. Now let me be clear, as soon as I saw this place I knew I was in trouble. The pictures/menu looked like a unicorn had partied in Vegas and threw up all over LV Blvd. However the optimist in me was hoping the stoners (who else other then some high AF stoners would come up with a concept like this) maybe were just crazy enough to pull this bubble gum concept off. Unfortunately for me they did not. Food: Exactly what you'd expect. Eggs Benedict - were cold, missing the hollandaise sauce with massive amounts of stale bread. PB & J tacos - inedible. All sugar no substance. Visually it's looked live vomit. French toast - also cold, soggy and so sweet you couldn't taste any flavor other than sugar. Milkshake - tasted like a kick to the teeth. I question the positive reviews and wonder who would actually like this food. Let me save you the $ and the stomach ache, pass on this place. read more

It was my first time visiting, and while the experience wasn't quite what I expected, there were still some positives. The food, though simple, was decent and served with care, but if you're looking for something more flavorful or a bigger portion, there might be other places in Vegas that suit your taste better. They have many varieties of eggs Benedict but it's soooo much bread it's ridiculous. The eggs were cooked beautifully but the sauce was not freshly made, it was from a packet. The waffles and pancakes are the worst. They're so tough you need a knife to literally cut the pancake. They either make them up in advance then microwave them before serving or somebody is back there stirring the batter over and over to cause a pancake/ waffle to be that tough. Why can't anyone make a light and fluffy pancake?? Coffee was not hot, cocktails are OK, they don't have a bartender. YMMV. We only went there because all the good places had an hour wait. read more

Been here two years in a row because food is pretty good. However, both years there was no A/C inside. If you want to sweat your way thru your breakfast this is the place to go. Why doesn't management care? You live in a hot city you should have amazing AC and keep the doors/windows shut to keep the air in. You would think it's common sense but i guess not. Super disappointing and poor management. All the tables around me were complaining as well. Felt so bad for the employees that they have such careless managers. The fact that this happened last year as well shows they really don't care about their customers or employees. read more

My group went there on March 17. We were starving. We only had to wait 5-10 minutes even though we went there during St. Patty's day during the noon hour. The menu was crazy. Crazy in the sense there were tons of good stuff to pick from. My only problem is I could only narrow it down to 4 things. Our waitress Kerri W was super nice and explained everything to us. Even gave her recommendations. The food staff was slammed so our food did not come out until 20-25 minutes. Kerri kept us informed so there was no issue. Went to Maxie's last night!!! OMG!! I had gone there a couple of times when it was Cantor's...BUT, now with the remodel and new menu and the hopping atmosphere...WOWZA!!!! Food was awwwwesome!!! Huge portions!!! Come with an appetite :) BUT best of all...our waitress Kelly was aaaammmmazing!!!! Quick, attentive and so nice...she made the great food BETTER, (if that's possible)..didn't take pic's, gobbled it up!! But my friend ordered the penut-butter milkshake...and it was topped with a REAL PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY SANDWICH!! He did say it was fantastic!! My husband and I have been to Vegas three times and this was our favorite restaurant. We are so glad we found this place! Our waitress was Kerri W and she was so friendly, attentive and sweet! The food here was amazing!! We went for breakfast and I had fruity pebble french toast which looked like a work of art. It was awesome. Maxie's has top notch employee's and delicious food. We plan to go back since we were so impressed. If you go to Vegas make sure to find this restaurant- you'll find that it beats the overrated overly crowded ones! read more

The blueberry jam layered between the chicken and waffles made it exceptional. We first heard about Maxie's through an Instagram ad and immediately booked a reservation. When we walked in we were blown away by how helpful all the staff was. Our server Jay was so great and full of energy. We got the Cotten candy pancakes and the salted caramel banana French toast, both of which were SO AMAZING!!!! So Maxie's is in its sixth day of operations at this it's first location. Very clean, and quite varied breakfast menu. Ordered the Bodybuilder Omelet - which I am not - but wanted to eat healthy. Absolutely phenomenal plate, and as advertised. Very tasty and well presented. Stellar service from our server Autumn made the whole experience 5 star. We stumbled upon this place walking down the promenade. The food was outstanding and was picture worthy! Not only were we impressed with the food and the atmosphere our server Kerri was amazing. Autumn is amazing. Always came to the table with a smile and was knowledgeable about the menu. All of the eggs were cooked perfectly. They make amazing hash browns, like a potato cake! Thick and tasty bacon. The hollandaise was done expertly! My son said the burger was really delicious. Abdiel provided friendly and attentive service. Our final (sad face) meal was Steak and Eggs $40. Sounds expensive but it was a ribeye steak! Eggs and potatoes too! Nicely charred and well seasoned. 40 bucks for a ribeye meal! Had to try the french dip sandwich $25. I had just watched Danny the Medic on YouTube enjoy one so yeah, it's an excellent sandwich. Flavorful and plentiful! Abel was friendly and efficient. Though we have played and eaten at the Cosmo for years, we never stayed here until this trip. The Henry is everything I love about old Vegas. I mean, 13.00 for a plain dog, lol... It's Vegas, whatever. Anyways we stopped by the bar again to watch the game and I popped in for a snack, the chicken strip. A couple pieces with 2 carrots stick and whatever sauce you wanted for about 20.00. I think it's also where the food order comes from for the bar. Plus side, the restroom is around the corner which is helpful. It's a cute little cafe for your classic food. Price wise, it's pricey but standard as everywhere you go in Vegas. Tucked in the corner of the sports bar next to the restroom.

(I think that is too long for this type of place) Both sandwiches differed slightly from previous visits. Both seemed smaller and both were slightly over cooked but still at least good. The chicken coating was super extra crisp so much so it was scary. It seemed like it had much less sauce too because it used to be a big sloppy sandwich and today it was very neat. Onion rings had a nice crisp exterior and seemed free of oil. I am happy that the pistachio was better than from my last visit and contained a decent amount of fresh delicious pistachios. The gelato is very good and if you just get gelato on a good day it might be 5 stars to you. 3.5 still good but Not consistent.

On this visit, we got the classic eggs Benedict, the honey blue berry pancakes, and a mimosa. The eggs Benedict had a thicker, fluffy, and moist muffin. There was a sufficient amount of Hollandaise sauce, and the eggs were poached well. The accompanying hash browns were a bit thin, but thick enough so that you got the fluffy inside and crispy outside that they are supposed to have. They could only be improved by being slightly thicker and being more buttery on the inside. On this visit, both the eggs Benedict and the hash browns were superior to those we had the day before at the Grand Lux Buffet in the Venetian. The honey butter pancakes were indeed thicker than your typical pancakes now-days. There are about as thick as pancakes used to be made about 30 years ago before cost cutting hit most restaurants. They came pre-soaked in syrup, which is how pancakes should be eaten, although you may want to ask for the syrup on the side if you want them less sweet. They had real blue berries both on top and cooked inside. They were quite good. We also got a side of turkey bacon to eat with the pancakes, which was much needed--thank you "Man vs. Food" TV show for teaching us to eat bacon with pancakes to enjoy them better so as to break up the starch. Either the eggs Benedict or the pancakes alone would have been sufficient to share, but we really wanted to try to pancakes. ZC's mimosas are canned rather than Prosecco poured into OJ at the restaurant and it was pretty strong. We go an OJ and poured the mimosa into it, which made it taste great with all the sugar in the OJ. The restaurant was pretty full and moderately loud on this visit. Our server (and the.hostess) were super nice and the only service we received at the Sahara that was friendly and excellent so far on this visits--front desk was cold to rude on check in and Chickie & Pete's was poor service. Overall, Zeffer's has provided good food and service on two visits and we would return and recommend you give them a try.

Honestly they should make the price $0.50 instead. $2.00 extra dollars for dressing for my fries is nuts. Other than that I always come back to try other items. Their french toast is my ALL TIME favorite.
